Abstract

This article analyses the impact of Self-Exploration and Transformation Tourism Theory on tourist arrivals in Krui, West Pesisir Regency, Lampung. The background of this research is the tourism potential of Krui, which is famous for its beautiful beaches and rich local culture. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and direct observation. The results showed that tourism in Krui experienced an increase in visits after the COVID-19 pandemic, fuelled by various promotional initiatives and improved facilities. The self-exploration and transformation theory of tourism is relevant to Krui, as the tourism experience there can support tourists' self-reflection and personal growth. Interaction with the natural environment and local culture in Krui provides a deep and meaningful experience in line with the principles of this theory. This article highlights the importance of sustainable tourism management to maintain a balance between economic benefits and environmental conservation..

Abstract

Fiqh is a branch of Islamic science that governs the legal aspects of human life. From the perspective of the philosophy of science, fiqh is not merely seen as a collection of laws but as a scientific discipline with ontological, epistemological, and axiological foundations. This study aims to analyze fiqh within the framework of the philosophy of science, focusing on how fiqh meets the criteria of science and its relevance to the needs of modern society. The research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method, examining classical and contemporary works on fiqh and the philosophy of science. The findings reveal that fiqh possesses an ontological basis rooted in revelation and the sunnah, an epistemology that integrates reason with revelation, and an axiology emphasizing the benefit (maslahah) for humanity. The study concludes that fiqh not only fulfills the criteria of a scientific discipline but also plays a significant role in addressing contemporary challenges. The implications of this study highlight the necessity for a multidisciplinary approach in developing fiqh to ensure its relevance and applicability in modern times, particularly in addressing social, economic, and political issues.

Abstract

Society is often seen as a collective of individuals who share similar goals and characteristics. Every individual in an Islamic society has equal rights and obligations, without the existence of a caste system; Priority is only determined by the level of piety they have to Allah. The basic characteristics of Islamic society can be categorized into three main characteristics: surrender to Allah, emphasis on devotion, and the practice of mutual respect. Fraternity, compassion, equality, freedom, and social justice are fundamental foundations in the Islamic community. The philosophy of Islamic education and society are closely interconnected, like an inseparable symbiosis. Therefore, the Muslim community plays a crucial role and has the responsibility to build a stable Islamic society, a civilized Islamic society, and an ideal Islamic society, in line with the teachings of the Qur'an and As-Sunnah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Everyone is Teacher Here method on student learning outcomes in SKI subjects, to determine the improvement and difference in student learning outcomes that use the Everyone is Teacher Here method and those who do not use the Everyone is Teacher Here method in SKI subjects. This thesis research uses a quasi-experimental method with pretest posttest design in two classes. The experimental class uses the Everyone is Teacher Here method, while the control class uses conventional learning. The data was analyzed using the t-test and gain test to determine the difference and improvement of learning outcomes. The results of the study show that there is an influence of the everyone is a teacher here method on student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the difference in student learning outcomes in SKI lessons that use the everyone is a teacher here method and those who use the conventional method with t-test results >good at a significance level of 1%, which is 4.32 > 2.677. Meanwhile, at the level of 5% significance, it is 4.32 > 2.008. There is an increase in student learning outcomes after using the everyone is a teacher here method. This is evidenced by the results of the gain test for the experimental class obtained a result of 0.538.

Abstract

Worship education is the perfection of faith education, worship education has an important role in shaping a person’s morals and ethics. In this case, worship is not only considered as an obligatory ritual, but also as a means to shape individuals who obey Allah and obey others. Islamic boarding schools that use education based on classical books such as Bulughhul Maram which teach hadiths in the form of worship laws so as to help students understand the essence of worship in their lives. This study aims to analyze worship education in the perspective of the Buluchul Maram book by Al-Hafidz Ibnu Hajar Al-Asqalani, especially in its implementation at the Nurun ‘Alannur 2 Kapencar Wonosobo Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative field approach. The location of the research taken is the Nurun Alannur Kapencar Wonosobo Islamic Boarding School. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data includes the results of interviews and observations. While secondary data is obtained from the results of documentation. Using three data collection techniques, namely interviews, observations, and documentation. Meanwhile, to analyze the data, it is carried out through three stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this study. Through literature studies and participatory observations, this study reveals the material on worship education contained in the book and its relevance to the pesantren curriculum. The results of the study show that the Bulughul Maram book makes a significant contribution to worship education and the formation of the character of students through a deep understanding of Islamic law. The material of this book is still relevant and is applied in learning activities in pesantren. However, there are several challenges and opportunities in its implementation. However, by consistently and always developing learning methods on worship education in pesantren, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of worship of students.

Abstract

Indonesia's geographical position along the equator provides immense potential for renewable energy development, particularly solar power. Semarang, a city with high solar irradiance, is an ideal location for implementing solar energy solutions. SD Bintang Juara, situated at Jalan Dewi Sartika No. 17A, exhibits promising potential for an on-grid solar power plant (PLTS) due to its average solar radiation intensity of 5.4 kWh/m²/day. The school's energy demand of 67.045 kWh daily incurs a monthly electricity cost of Rp 2,600,000.00, which can be substantially reduced by offsetting 50% of the load with solar energy. This study employs a quantitative approach, analyzing solar radiation data, building orientation, and energy load to design a cost-effective and technically sound PLTS system. Findings reveal both technical and economic feasibility, with projected electricity production supporting a significant portion of the school’s needs. Over a 15-year operational period, the PLTS system is estimated to generate a total revenue of Rp 64,151,108.00. This initiative highlights the potential for renewable energy to reduce costs and promote sustainability in educational institutions, paving the way for broader applications across similar contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in guiding morals and knowledge in Islamic education, and explore how the balance between these two aspects can be applied in the context of modern education. This study uses a literature study method by reviewing various library sources related to Islamic education, the role of teachers, and the integration of morals in learning. Data were obtained from books, journal articles, and other sources relevant to the research topic. The results of the study indicate that teachers have a very important role in guiding students' morals and knowledge. Islamic education teaches the importance of balance between these two aspects, where teachers not only teach knowledge, but also shape students' characters according to Islamic values. The main challenge faced is how to integrate morals with knowledge in the increasingly modern and developing world of education. Teachers are expected to be able to carry out dual tasks in educating morals and knowledge to students. Therefore, an effective strategy in combining these two elements is very important to produce a generation with noble morals and knowledge. This study provides important insights into the strategic role of teachers in creating a balance between knowledge and morals in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study explores the concepts of ta'kid al-madh bima yusyibih al-dzamm and ta'kid al-dzamm bima yusyibih al-madh in the Qur'an. Ta'kid al-madh bima yusyibih al-dzamm refers to reinforcing praise by using expressions that resemble criticism, while ta'kid al-dzamm bima yusyibih al-madh involves strengthening censure through expressions that appear to praise. This research employs a library research method focusing on textual analysis of the Qur'an. It relies on primary sources, including classical tafsir texts, books on balaghah (Arabic rhetoric), and relevant Arabic linguistic literature. The analysis examines two verses: In Surah Al-Qalam (68:4), praise for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is emphasized through rhetorical expressions such as inna, 'ala, and khuluqin 'azhim, highlighting his exalted moral character that surpasses all human standards. Conversely, in Surah Al-Ma'un (107:4-5), censure is directed at those who pray but are negligent. The technique of ta'kid al-dzamm is applied by using the act of prayer—usually praiseworthy—to underscore the severity of their negligence in worship.

Abstract

VIACOM is a well-accredited computer training institution in Jambi City, but its registration and payment system is still inefficient and not responsive to the needs of course participants. The current system is not well integrated, leading to various issues such as data input errors, schedule mismatches, and delays in data updates, which result in operational disruptions and potential revenue loss. Therefore, it is necessary to design a system that can improve staff performance in handling registration and payments, as well as reduce potential disruptions and delays. In this system design, the prototype method is used to allow iterative development, involving users at each stage so the system can be adjusted to meet existing needs and feedback. This approach provides flexibility to improve and optimize the system based on the feedback obtained, with the expectation of producing a system that is more effective, efficient, and in line with user expectations.

Abstract

The Sara Douda dance is a form of oral tradition cultural art that combines movement elements from original Loli dance accompanied by energetic traditional music, namely gongs and drums, as a powerful medium for expressing the experience of faith, namely gratitude to the Almighty for giving His blessings of life to the Loli community. Sara Douda is full of verbal and non-verbal symbols, rich in meaning, messages and cultural values ​​for the Loli community, used for social interaction and also as an expression of faith in the Most High. The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of the nature, form and meaning of Sara Douda cultural symbols as a form of expression of art, culture and faith of the Loli community in the study of Contextual Theology. This study uses qualitative methods and is analyzed narratively which shows that Sara Douda is a cultural symbol of the Loli people and also a symbol of their faith. Religious symbols allow individuals access to Divine reality and expression. their experience of faith in a cultural context. The verbal and nonverbal symbols in Sara Douda show the Loli Community's faith and belief in God, the Creator of heaven and earth as in the expression Ama wolo Ama rawi. Their offerings of praise and thanksgiving are expressed through poetry in the form of verses and lines as well as beautiful dances from time to time, from generation to generation until now contextual in social life.
