<![CDATA[Ethnomathematics studies how mathematics interacts with culture, traditions, and customs of society. With ulos as its identity, this study will investigate one of the Indonesian tribes through its art, namely Ulos art by the Batak tribe of North Sumatra. The form of the Batak ulos variety can be associated with geometric mathematics, so that mathematics can be studied culturally in ethnomathematics studies by integrating the introduction and instillation of culture in the mathematical concepts taught. This research was collected from literature or libraries using a qualitative approach. This study aims to study the concept of geometry in the patterns of North Sumatran ulos cloth from an ethnomathematics perspective. Research shows that science and culture cannot be separated. Batak ulos is not just a traditional cloth; it is also a representation of the hierarchy of cultural values maintained by the Batak people.]]>

<![CDATA[Difficulties in speaking include students being able to convey messages well but still using their mother tongue, being embarrassed and nervous about speaking in front of the class and even forgetting what they are going to convey. Role-playing is an effective learning model in improving students' speaking skills. This model can help students become more active, independent and happy during the learning stage. This research aims to determine the effect of the role-playing learning model on students' speaking skills. By applying a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design, this research involved a population of 112 students. The research sample consisted of 59 students, where class IV A as the experimental class included 31 students and class IV B as the control class consisted of 28 students. The instrument used in this research is a non-test technique in the form of a performance test. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the t test after first carrying out a normality test. The results of the significance value (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05 indicate that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the effect of mycorrhizal biofertilizer on the growth of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) height over a period of 8 weeks. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was employed with six treatments: no mycorrhiza (Mo), low doses (M0.1), and high doses (M1, M1.1, M2, M2.1) with variations of 5 grams and 10 grams. The results showed that the application of mycorrhiza at higher doses resulted in significant growth compared to the control treatment. By week 8, plants receiving treatments M2 and M2.1 reached an average height of 32 cm and 32.5 cm, while the control treatment without mycorrhiza only reached 9 cm. Variance analysis (ANOVA) indicated significant differences at the 95% confidence level among treatments. Therefore, the use of mycorrhizal biofertilizer has been proven effective in enhancing the height growth of tomato plants, which is expected to increase productivity in horticultural cultivation.]]>

<![CDATA[In improving the quality of service to provide satisfaction to students, SMAN 1 Berastagi needs efforts to meet student expectations, so that students get satisfaction with the services provided by SMAN 1 Berastagi. Student satisfaction with the quality of services received can be measured using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Physical evidence, dependability, responsiveness, assurance, and care are the five aspects of service quality that make up service quality, which is an important term for service consumers. Of the 20 attributes asked to students, there are 2 attributes that are in the A quadrant important and anticipated. Prioritizing improvements in this dimension needs to be done. Factors included in quadrant A include ease of access to school services and ease of contact for educators.]]>

<![CDATA[Fuzzy logic is an element of Boolean logic, where fuzzy logic is used to handle the concept of degrees of truth between true and false (Yanif, et al, 2011; Henny, 2018). Fuzzy logic theory also provides a method for representing uncertainty and is an excellent tool for modeling uncertainty related to vagueness. To obtain the level of service satisfaction for patients, it can be seen from the difference between the services provided to patients and the patient's expectations. Padang Sidempuan General Hospital is a health service provider. The increase and decrease in patients in the hospital can be caused by the results of the services provided by the hospital to patients. The more patients feel safe and comfortable, the number of consumers will also increase. The method that is relevant to this problem is the Servqual approach combined with Fuzzy theory to measure the patient's gap in perception and expectations precisely. The results of this research are that almost the entire gap value between expectations and perceptions has a negative gap value, thus it can be concluded that the quality of service provided by the hospital is considered not able to meet patient expectations as it should. The research results obtained were that the attribute that was considered the best by patients was the comfort condition of the patient room at Padang Sidimpuan General Hospital with a gap value of 2.913979. Meanwhile, the lowest rated attribute lies in officers not ignoring patients when on duty with a gap value of 50.90728975.]]>

<![CDATA[The family environment is the main factor in forming a child's character. This research analyzes the role of the family in instilling moral and social values in children. By using library research methods, this research aims to make adults, especially parents, aware that consistent parenting patterns, open communication, and providing good examples by parents greatly contribute to the development of children's character. This research highlights the importance of family and school collaboration in efforts to form a young generation with character. And the digital era has brought significant changes to the educational process. Apart from the role of the environment and family, this research also analyzes the influence of technology on the formation of children's character. Unwise use of technology can have a negative impact on a child's character development, such as a tendency towards individualism and a lack of empathy. However, the proper use of technology can be an effective tool in instilling positive values in children. This research suggests the importance of digital literacy and adequate assistance for students in using technology.]]>

<![CDATA[The implementation of technology in educational supervision is an important step to improve the quality of education and the effectiveness of managing the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study is to analyze how technology-based supervision strategies can be effectively implemented in an educational environment, by reviewing the extent to which technology can improve the quality of teaching and learning. This research uses the literature study method to analyze technology-based supervision strategies in modern education. The desk study was conducted by collecting and reviewing various literatures from scientific journals, books, articles and research reports relevant to the topic. These sources were obtained from reputable academic databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, and ProQuest, as well as credible educational websites. The results of this study show that the implementation of technology in educational supervision has been shown to improve effectiveness through increased accuracy, transparency and efficiency in data collection and analysis. Digital tools allow supervisors to provide prompt feedback to teachers and improve collaboration between supervisors, principals and teachers, creating a more integrated learning environment. However, challenges such as lack of technical skills and resistance to change can hinder this process. Therefore, top management support, adequate training and proper infrastructure are essential to optimize the use of technology in educational supervision, so that the overall quality of education can be improved.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to see the influence of time management, learning discipline, and learning facilities on student mathematics learning outcomes partially and simultaneously. This type of research is ex-post facto design. The population in this study were tenth and eleventh grade students at SMA Swasta Dharma Pancasila Medan. The number of samples used was 63 students consisting of 34 tenth grade students and 29 eleventh grade students. The data collection method was carried out using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis test. The research results showed that there is influence of time management, learning discipline, and learning facilities on students’ mathematics learning outcomes partially and simultaneously.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is entitled "Development of Mini Book Media to Improve Reading Ability in Indonesian Language Subjects in Class V" which is based on initial observations that there are class V students at SDS Prguruan Kebangsaan Medan who experience difficulties in reading. This research aims to develop and evaluate learning media in the form of mini books to improve the reading skills of class V students. The method used is research and development with 4D model design through the stages of definition, design, development and distribution. The results of the research show that the mini book media is very valid, practical and effective in improving reading skills with good quality and is suitable for learning in class V. It is recommended that this mini book media can be used by teachers to improve reading skills in Indonesian language subjects in class V.]]>

<![CDATA[Education is a necessity for everyone, therefore the government must guarantee all its citizens to get a proper education. The challenges in implementing the provisions and regulations of the education sector are enormous. With technological advances, mastery of technology in education is also needed. Education is used as the key to improving the quality of the nation, the progress of a nation is determined by the younger generation who will be the successor of the nation. A quality young generation is produced from a quality education. The teacher profession is important in improving education, because it is tasked with teaching, educating, fostering, and shaping personalities so that they become human beings who have knowledge, are intelligent, and dignified. A profession is a job or position that must have special expertise, responsibility and mastery of knowledge in that field. To obtain professional certification, teachers need professional requirements obtained through special education so that they can produce professional teachers. The purpose of this research is to describe the concept of teachers as a profession in Indonesia. The method used in this research is qualitative with literature review method.
