Abstract

Population administration services are an essential part of public services in fulfilling citizens’ basic rights. As an effort to modernize digital-based services, the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration introduced the Digital Population Identity (IKD) service. However, the implementation of IKD at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Mojokerto City still faces various technical and service-related challenges. This study aims to describe the quality of IKD services using seven digital service quality indicators proposed by (Aljukhadar et al., 2022). This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that the quality of IKD services has not yet been fully optimized, particularly in terms of interactivity, information and assistance quality, ease of use, system stability, public understanding of data privacy and security, and application interface design. Therefore, strengthening the application system, improving digital information and assistance, and developing a more user-friendly application design are recommended to enhance the quality of IKD services in the future.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has fundamentally transformed students’ learning environments, particularly in secondary education. While digital platforms offer extensive access to information, excessive exposure to digital stimuli often results in learning distractions that reduce concentration and depth of comprehension. This study aims to examine students’ learning concentration difficulties in the digital era using the perspective of Gestalt theory. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research focuses on a junior high school student who experienced a decline in academic understanding associated with high levels of digital distraction. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The findings reveal that digital distraction leads to fragmented information processing, preventing students from organizing learning materials into meaningful and coherent structures. From a Gestalt perspective, this condition inhibits insight learning, as students fail to perceive relationships among concepts as an integrated whole. The study underscores the importance of instructional strategies that promote holistic perception, such as visual organization, concept mapping, and attention management, to support effective learning in digital contexts. These findings confirm the continued relevance of Gestalt theory in explaining contemporary learning challenges and provide practical implications for educators in designing meaningful learning experiences in the digital era

Abstract

News headlines are an important part of journalistic texts because they serve to convey the essence of information in a concise, clear, and attention-grabbing manner. This study aims to identify the linguistic structure of news headlines in the online media Kompas.com. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with 20 news headlines taken from Kompas.com as the object of study. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation, while data analysis techniques were carried out by describing linguistic elements at the word, phrase, clause, and sentence levels. The analysis included word categories, phrase structures, semantic roles, and clause and sentence structures. The results show that Kompas.com news headlines are dominated by declarative sentences with complete and efficient structures, and tend to use nominal phrases and material verbs to convey the main events. In addition, the use of various semantic roles, such as actor, target, time, and place, was found to clarify the information in the news headlines. This linguistic structure reflects the characteristics of online journalistic language, which prioritises information events, language economy, and reader appeal.

Abstract

This research discusses the effectiveness of the disaster mitigation socialization program implemented by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Surabaya City in enhancing community preparedness for potential disasters. Surabaya, as a coastal city, has a high risk of disasters, making it crucial to increase community awareness and knowledge. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the disaster mitigation socialization program implemented by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Surabaya City in improving community preparedness. The research employs a qualitative method with an evaluative approach. Data is collected through in-depth interviews with BPBD representatives, volunteers, and community members, as well as participatory observation of socialization activities to directly assess the implementation process and its impact. The research results show that the socialization program of the BPBD Surabaya is generally effective in building a community-based preparedness foundation. This success is reflected in the high level of community participation, which not only includes attendance in the training but also follows up with tangible actions such as the preparation of self-evacuation maps and the formation of disaster preparedness groups. Abstract

This study examines five key aspects that constitute the main focus of the research: customer service efficiency, system integration and automation, conversational humanization, user trust and satisfaction, as well as ethical and data security issues. Through this discussion, the study seeks to understand how AI-powered chatbots not only enhance business performance but also transform human–technology interaction within the context of modern e-commerce. This research employs a literature review approach by systematically examining previous studies relevant to the research focus. The findings indicate that, based on an analysis of 115 publications published between 2019 and 2025, AI chatbots have emerged as one of the primary drivers of digital transformation in e-commerce. This technology significantly improves operational efficiency and customer service quality while simultaneously strengthening the emotional relationship between users and brands. The rapid growth of research since 2022 demonstrates that chatbots now occupy a strategic position in shaping online shopping experiences. The combination of task-oriented and conversation-oriented chatbots has been shown to produce higher levels of user satisfaction and conversion rates. Nevertheless, anthropomorphic features must be applied cautiously to avoid the uncanny valley effect, which may reduce user comfort. Despite their substantial potential, several critical challenges remain, including data privacy concerns, the digital divide, and the need for adaptation to diverse cultural contexts. The future success of chatbot implementation will largely depend on the ability of developers and companies to balance technological sophistication, psychological understanding of users, and ethical responsibility.

Abstract

Unregistered marriage is a social phenomenon that is still prevalent in Indonesia, despite causing various problems, especially for women. This study examines how the practice of unregistered marriage triggers emotional dysregulation such as anxiety and confusion in women, which then impacts their cognitive function. Using a neuropsychological approach and Qasim Amin's gender equality perspective, this study analyzes the complex relationship between unstable emotional conditions due to marital uncertainty and decreased cognitive capacity in women. The research method used is a qualitative literature study with document analysis from various literature on neuropsychology, psychology, Islamic family law, and Qasim Amin's thoughts. The results show that unregistered marriage creates a state of chronic stress in women that triggers emotional dysregulation, which in turn disrupts cognitive functions such as memory, concentration, and decision-making. Qasim Amin's equality perspective emphasizes that the practice of unregistered marriage contradicts the principles of dignity and justice for women. This study recommends the need for psychological and legal education for the community, as well as strengthening the perspective of gender equality in Islamic studies.

Abstract

This study examines Javanese humor through an ethnolinguistic approach to understand the relationship between humorous forms, cultural values, and communicative practices within Javanese society. It combines ethnolinguistic and sociolinguistic perspectives and employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected from humorous interactions in traditional market transactions, interviews, and documentation of Jula Juli performances and digital content. The findings reveal that Javanese humor serves to maintain social harmony, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and convey criticism in subtle ways. The use of wordplay, semantic shifts, and distinctive humorous patterns demonstrates both linguistic creativity and social sensitivity. In everyday contexts, humor functions as a medium that reinforces solidarity, while in performances and digital spaces, it affirms cultural identity and reflects the community’s adaptation to changing times. This study highlights that Javanese humor is an essential part of intangible cultural heritage, embodying the values of rukun, tepa selira, and nrima.

Abstract

Household waste management remain a serious environmental health issue in Marga Telang subdistrict Banyuasin Regency. The behavior of housewives in disposing of waste in influenced by several factors such as knowledge, attitude and availability  of waste disposal facilities objective.: to identify the factors influencing houswives behavior in waste disposal in Marga Telang Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency in 2025.  This study used a cross Sectional survey design with 92 randomly selected respondents. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed uni Variately and bivariately using the chi square test Results: The analysis showed a significant relationship between knowledge (P =0,014 ) and attitude ( p=0,020 ) with housewives’ waste disposal behavior, and the availability of facilities  significantly related( p= 0,001).

Abstract

This study aims to assess the financial condition of PT Mayora Indah Tbk for the period 2022–2024 using the Altman Z-Score method, which consists of five key financial ratios: X1 (Working Capital to Total Assets), X2 (Retained Earnings to Total Assets), X3 (EBIT to Total Assets), X4 (Market Value of Equity to Total Debt), and X5 (Sales to Total Assets). The results indicate that the company consistently remained in the Safe Area over the three-year period, with Z-Score values of 2.99 in 2022, increasing to 6.92 in 2023, and remaining strong at 5.91 in 2024. These findings demonstrate that the company faces a low risk of bankruptcy and maintains stable financial performance. Overall, PT Mayora Indah Tbk is in solid financial condition and shows good prospects for business sustainability throughout the analysis period.

Abstract

The increase in the number of divorce cases filed by high-income women indicates a significant change in gender relations and the meaning of marriage in modern society. This phenomenon is clearly evident in the Sidoarjo Religious Court, where the majority of divorce cases are filed by wives who are economically independent. This study aims to analyze the factors causing divorce and its meaning for high-income women in social, legal, and gender contexts. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through in depth interviews, observation, and documentation of women filing for divorce at the Sidoarjo Religious Court. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using George Herbert Mead's symbolic interactionism theory to understand divorce lawsuits as social actions shaped through interaction and meaning making processes. The results show that divorce lawsuits are influenced by accumulated domestic conflicts, gender inequality, verbal abuse, infidelity, and the husband's failure to fulfill material and emotional obligations. Economic independence gives women a stronger bargaining position to evaluate and end marriages that are considered unfair. Divorce suits are interpreted as a form of agency, symbolic resistance to unequal relationships, and an effort to maintain dignity and personal well being.
