Abstract

Indonesia’s multicultural context poses complex challenges for guidance and counseling practices, requiring counselors to possess not only technical skills but also strong multicultural competence grounded in philosophical awareness. However, the philosophical foundations of multicultural counselor competence remain underexamined in Indonesian literature. This study aims to analyze multicultural counselor competence through the perspective of multicultural philosophy of science, focusing on ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions. Using a systematic-narrative literature review, this study analyzed peer-reviewed national and international publications from 2015–2025 related to multicultural counseling, counselor competence, and philosophical perspectives. Qualitative content analysis was employed to identify key conceptual themes. The findings indicate that multicultural counselor competence encompasses cultural self-awareness, cultural knowledge, adaptive counseling skills, and a commitment to social justice. These elements are philosophically rounded in the recognition of human diversity, culturally constructed knowledge, and ethical responsibility. This study highlights the need to integrate philosophical foundations into counselor competence development and contributes a synthesized conceptual framework to support more reflective and context-sensitive counselor education in multicultural settings.

Abstract

Background: Stunting is a serious global health issue, particularly in developing countries. It occurs when children experience chronic nutritional deficiencies early in life, resulting in impaired physical growth and cognitive development. Stunting has long-term effects on health and quality of life. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between pregnant women’s knowledge and family support with stunting prevention behavior at Jongaya Health Center, Makassar. Method: This cross-sectional quantitative study involved 42 pregnant women. Independent variables included maternal knowledge and family support, while the dependent variable was stunting prevention behavior. Correlation analysis was used to determine relationships among variables. Results: Most respondents had good knowledge (88.3%) and received strong family support (75.6%). Both factors were significantly associated with positive stunting prevention behavior. Pregnant women with higher knowledge and better family support exhibited better preventive practices. Conclusion: Maternal knowledge and family support are critical for stunting prevention. Nutritional education and active family involvement can enhance preventive behavior among pregnant women.

Abstract

the rapid development of digital technology has transformed patterns of social interaction and the construction of social meaning. Interactions that were previously dominated by face-to-face encounters are now increasingly mediated through digital platforms, visual symbols, and algorithmic systems. This article aims to reinterpret George Herbert Mead’s theory of symbolic interactionism in the context of contemporary digital society. This study employs a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review of classical symbolic interactionism texts and recent scholarly works on digital media and online identity. The findings indicate that Mead’s core concepts of mind, self, and society remain analytically relevant for understanding social interaction in digital environments. However, these concepts require conceptual expansion to account for the role of digital symbols, platform architectures, and algorithmic mediation. This study argues that symbolic interactionism retains its theoretical significance in the digital era by adapting to technologically mediated social realities.

Abstract

The consolidation of three state-owned Islamic banks in Indonesia into Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in 2021 marked a significant development in the Islamic banking sector. As the largest Islamic bank in Indonesia, BSI is expected to offer superior service quality while maintaining adherence to Sharia principles. This paper presents a comprehensive literature review of international studies on customer perception and service quality in Islamic banking, with a particular focus on digital banking, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. Additionally, this study incorporates a critical social media analysis to understand public opinion on BSI’s service delivery. The findings indicate that while BSI’s digital services have been positively received, challenges persist in customer service responsiveness, transparency, and application reliability. Social media sentiment often amplifies these challenges, highlighting the need for proactive management and strategic communication. The synthesis of literature and social media insights provides actionable recommendations for enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction in Islamic banking.

These are the rules (1) FP = P', Spec.; P '= P, Comp., (2) FP = P', Spec.; P '= P', Mod.; P '= P, Comp., (3) FP = P', Spec.; FP = P ', Spec.; P '= P', Mod.; P '= P, Comp.

Abstract

Abstract: The transformation of educational management is strategic in addressing contemporary challenges, particularly within Islamic institutions. This study analyzes the integration of Islamic banking values trust, justice, transparency, and social responsibility into educational management and pedagogical leadership, viewed through Islamic economics. Using a qualitative literature review, data were gathered from academic journals, books, and relevant publications, then analyzed via reduction, categorization, and thematic synthesis. Findings indicate that Islamic banking values significantly drive transformation in governance, organizational culture, and human resource development. Furthermore, Islamic economics-based pedagogical leadership bridges the gap between normative vision and operational practice, fostering a participatory, fair, and sustainable environment. However, challenges remain in fully internalizing these values into policies and evaluation mechanisms. The study concludes that integrating Islamic banking principles with pedagogical leadership is a strategic approach for transforming educational management. These findings contribute to the development of Islamic educational management theory and offer practical implications for strengthening value-based institutional governance and leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between entrepreneurial spirit, entrepreneurial motivation, and entrepreneurial intention based on findings from previous studies. The method employed is a literature review using a library research approach through the systematic exploration of scholarly sources from Google Scholar and other academic databases. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial spirit is closely associated with entrepreneurial motivation, as individuals who demonstrate creativity, independence, and a willingness to take risks tend to possess stronger internal drives to initiate entrepreneurial activities. In addition, entrepreneurial spirit is also correlated with entrepreneurial intention. The review further reveals that entrepreneurial motivation plays a reinforcing role in strengthening individuals’ intentions to pursue entrepreneurship. Overall, entrepreneurial spirit, motivation, and intention form an interrelated framework in the process of shaping an individual’s entrepreneurial orientation.

Abstract

Information technology-based lending services are financial service providers that connect lenders and borrowers through electronic systems using the internet. In the era of digital economic development, society continues to innovate in providing credit and lending services, one of which is online loans. In 2016, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued Regulation Number POJK 40/2024 and OJK Circular Letter (SE OJK) 19/2023 concerning Information Technology-Based Lending Services. This study is a library research, which aims to collect data and information using materials available in the library. The primary data used are OJK regulations, specifically POJK 40/2024 and SE OJK 19/2023. The research employs a normative juridical approach. Data collection was conducted using documentation methods, which involve searching for and gathering data from various sources related to online loans and the theory of qarḍ. The analysis method used is deductive analysis. The results of the study indicate that the provisions on online loan contracts in OJK Regulation Number POJK 40/2024 and SE OJK 19/2023, particularly in Article 18, include agreements between the platform provider and the lender, and agreements between the lender and the borrower. These OJK regulations comply with Sharia principles because Articles 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 discuss operational permits, making online loans legally valid and lawful. Therefore, they do not contain elements of fraud (gharar). Articles 19 and 20 discuss electronic documents that explain the contents of online loan agreements, ensuring there is no coercion, as all parties are fully informed about the terms of the agreement.
