Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are theoretically international action plans adopted by world leaders, including Indonesia, with the intention of eradicating poverty, reducing inequality, and preserving the environment. The 17 Goals and 169 Targets in the SDGs are supposed to be accomplished by 2030. It is thought necessary to address the gaps and various levels of awareness of the SDGs with a new communication strategy or campaign. The growth of information and communication technologies, demographic trends, and political-economic realities are all taken into consideration while developing a communication strategy to address Indonesia's SDGs collaboration challenges. One of the strategies is to combine field study and dissemination methodologies through lecturer’s Community Service. The targeted audiences of this activity are residents of Kampung Nelayan Seberang in Medan Belawan District. It is important to raise public awareness of the local level implementation of the SDGs in order to alleviate social inequality through community empowerment programs and job creation for coastal communities. The evaluation's findings indicate that this service activity has increased public awareness of the 17 goals of SDGs, which can be expanded upon and applied to the lives of the Kampung Nelayan Seberang community. The method of delivering material is in the form of seminars which are conducted in the community meeting hall. Furthermore, lecturers, students, and members of the local community collaborate to conduct field assessments to determine the actual conditions at the site of the activity and map the most urgent needs in the community.

Abstract

Oil palm is a plantation commodity that has a strategic role in Indonesia's economic development. The development of the palm oil industry in Indonesia is inseparable from the role of planting materials used by oil palm plantation farmers. Superior oil palm seedlings are the basic capital to achieve high productivity and quality of palm oil. The use of illegal or careless seedlings can cause a decrease in productivity of up to 50%. In contrast, by using superior quality oil palm seedlings, stable production levels can be guaranteed for 25 years, hence the type and quality of seedlings is a major concern. This community service related to superior seedling selection strategies in order to increase national oil palm productivity was carried out at KUD Kampar. KUD Kampar oversees 20 farmer groups of oil palm farmers in Kampar district, so that through this service it is hoped that the PKM Polytechnic Kampar Team can be a means for oil palm farmers in Kampar Regency to get correct and accurate information about superior oil palm seeds and be able to increase the productivity of the oil palm plantations owned by KUD Kampar farmer groups.

Abstract

Bangun Sari Village is a village in Kampar Kiri Hilir District. Judging from its geographical location, Bangun Sari Village has great potential for development as an oil palm plantation business. Behind its potential, there are disturbances that can reduce oil palm productivity, namely plant pest organisms. One of the caterpillars that eat oil palm leaves is the fire caterpillar (setora nitens). Fire caterpillar attacks are generally treated by using synthetic chemical pesticides. However, the use of synthetic chemical pesticides can have negative effects. The best solution to overcome this is to use vegetable pesticides. Many plants can be used as raw materials for vegetable pesticides, such as babadotan plants, lemongrass leaves, neem leaves and others. Based on surveys and interview results, the PKM team received information that the community had no knowledge of identifying and controlling plant pests and diseases. Therefore, pest and disease control must be right on target and carried out with good and correct procedures. Control measures are expected to increase palm oil production and productivity.

Abstract

Innovation Development (PI) is a program that provides concrete evidence of the application of knowledge that has been obtained during the study period in the Management and Accounting Study Program. LPPM (Community Service Research Institute) is a forum that accommodates all community service activities for students and lecturers by providing the freedom to develop innovative and creative works to support better economic growth in the city of Balikpapan. The aim of this activity is to find out how marketing strategies in the digital era are to expand product market share, find out how to make labels on packaging as a form of business characteristic, and to find out how far MSMEs carry out simple financial reports for income and expenses. The implementation method for Innovation Development that will be carried out is in stages arranged systematically. The result of this activity was that group 10 was able to complete mentoring activities and seminars in the Gunung Samarinda Baru sub-district.

Abstract

The process of administering East Salo Village administration, including general administration, population administration, development administration. The problem faced by partners, namely conveying information about Village potential, population, Village activity agenda, Village Budget carried out by Village officials to the local community, is by conveying socialization directly at the East Salo Village office or making banners outside the Village office regarding the Village Expenditure Budget ( APBDes). The obstacles faced by the community if they want to get information quickly, are often hampered by the working hours of village officials and during the socialization carried out by East Salo Village officials, not all people attend the socialization activities. Coupled with the lack of understanding of village officials regarding information technology, this means that services to the community are not optimal. The solution offered is by creating an information system based on the East Salo Village website and providing training to East Salo Village officials on the use of the information system created.

Abstract

Cassava Tape Crackers are one of the new innovations in making crackers, based on market surveys there is still no one selling cassava tape flavored crackers so this product has a good market opportunity, and the potential for cassava tape is quite high. For the marketing itself, the PROMAHADESA UNEJ Group 20 Team agreed to sell online and offline, online sales can be through social media while offline sales can be through exhibitions and left at the Jember souvenir center. The price for these tape crackers is IDR 8,000.00/pcs, this price is very competitive because we have seen the target market for the product to be sold.

Abstract

Tenggarong Seberang District is one of the agencies under the auspices of the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government which still uses a correspondence system as a means of official communication or assignment. The large number of incoming letters or outgoing letters in Tenggarong Seberang District, of course, currently requires a system that can facilitate and assist the letter archiving process. In Tenggarong Seberang Subdistrict, letter filing is still done manually, sometimes when you want to find a letter data and letters that have been stored for a long time in a warehouse or letter storage box are difficult to find because they are stacked with other letters and even the letters you are looking for are often lost. So after analyzing the Tenggarong Seberang District, it is planned to make an archiving application that can store data properly and safely. The letter archive application created will use the Macro VBA Excel system to manage the inputted archives. This research method uses the DSRM method which consists of 6 stages, namely Problem Identification and Motivation, Define the Objectives for a Solution, Design and Development, Demonstration, Evaluation, Communication. To get a solution to this problem is to create a Macro VBA Excel-based Mail Archive system to store mail data safely and easily.

Abstract

Catfish is one of the leading commodities in Indonesia. Business development can be done from seed to consumption size. The main obstacle to cultivation tends to be the presence of pests and diseases that occur in catfish. Counseling was carried out in Bua village, Kec. Batudaa on December 18 2023 with the target of outreach being catfish cultivator groups. In catfish cultivation activities carried out by a group of farmers in Bua village, Kec. Batudaa failed due to lack of preparation and knowledge of catfish cultivation. The aim of this outreach is to provide knowledge to the public on how to handle and prevent disease in catfish. The results of the outreach were that the people of Bua village knew how to cultivate catfish properly and how to prevent and treat diseases in catfish.

Abstract

As population density increases, waste becomes a problem, because the volume of waste produced by humans is increasing. Household waste that initially has no useful value can become something useful if it is processed properly, for example by producing local microorganisms and liquid organic fertilizer. The aim of this service activity is to provide socialization and assistance to housewives around the Sumput Village Seed House in utilizing stale rice into local micro-organisms and liquid organic fertilizer which can reduce costs in household farming and reduce household waste that is wasted. it's useless. The implementation of the activities carried out is divided into two stages, namely counseling and training. The results of this activity show that the housewives understand the knowledge about local microorganisms and liquid organic fertilizer from stale rice and how to make it.

Abstract

Lesson plans can improve the quality of learning and professional development of educators. Through the Amikom Mitra Masyarakat scheme, service activities are carried out to optimize the ability and quality of teachers in English language learning activities by providing education and training in making lesson plans. The partner of this activity is a tutoring institution called Glory Learning Center (GLC). This institution provides English language learning services as an extracurricular activity for kindergarten and PAUD students in the Banyumas, Purbalingga, and Bumiayu areas. Teacher recruitment at GLC focuses more on how to deal with children in the classroom, so English teaching skills are an additional requirement for classroom learning activities. Seeing this problem, dedication is carried out by providing education and training in making lessons as one of the supporting factors for the success of teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Teachers are given an understanding of the importance of lesson plans and how to make a good lesson plan, so that teaching and learning activities can run well, clearly and structured. Thus, this service activity has a good impact on teachers, especially for those who have non-language scientific backgrounds, and increases the selling value of the guidance institution because it has quality resources that support learning activities
