Abstract

This research examines the influence of the Example Non Example learning model on student participation in social studies, driven by the low levels of engagement observed among students. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the Example Non Example model in enhancing student participation in social studies classes. A quasi-experimental method was employed, involving two groups: an experimental group taught using the Example Non Example model and a control group receiving conventional instruction. The model incorporates visual media, with only the experimental group exposed to image-based learning materials. A total of 30 students were included in the sample, selected through total sampling. Data were collected using an observation sheet for student participation. The findings indicate a significant effect of the Example Non Example model on student participation at SDN 06 Tanjung Baru Tanah Datar. Statistical analysis, including the t-test and determination test, showed a t-test value of 0.401, which is below the threshold of 0.05, suggesting a meaningful impact. The determination test further revealed that this model accounts for 14% of the variance in student participation.

Abstract

Children can learn noble moral values if they are introduced to them from an early age. However, based on initial observations, researchers found that children aged 5-6 years at the Dharma Wanita Kindergarten in East Bakongan, South Aceh, still lack good moral values. So this research aims to determine the influence of the story of Asma' bint Abu Bakar on the introduction of moral values in the school. This research uses an experimental method with a quantitative approach and uses a one group pre-test post test design. This study used 16 children aged 5-6 years, selected using total sampling techniques. Data were collected using research instruments in the form of observation sheets, then analyzed to determine normality tests and hypothesis tests. So the research results show the average pre-test score is 39.37% and the average post-test score is 78.75%. So it produces a normality test of 0.879 and a tcount>ttable test of 14.86>2.13145. This shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that the story of Asma' bint Abu Bakar has a significant influence on the introduction of children's moral values at the Dharma Wanita TK Bakongan Timur, South Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Show and Tell method on linguistic intelligence among children at RA Al-Ikhsan, Banda Aceh. This quantitative research utilizes a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample consists of all 15 students from Class B, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using an observation sheet as the research instrument and analyzed through normality tests and hypothesis testing. The research findings indicate that the average pre-test score was 45.56%, while the average post-test score was 76.11%. The normality test resulted in a value of 0.524, and the t-test analysis yielded a significance value of <0.000, which is less than α = 0.05. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is rejected, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted. Therefore, the study concludes that the Show and Tell method using the butterfly cycle media has a significant impact on linguistic intelligence among children at RA Al-Ikhsan, Banda Aceh.
