Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi manajemen perpustakaan berbasis digital dalam upaya meningkatkan minat baca siswa di salah satu SMP Negeri di Surabaya. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen perpustakaan digital dilakukan melalui perencanaan koleksi dan sistem digital, pengorganisasian aplikasi perpustakaan, penerapan layanan digital, serta monitoring dan evaluasi pemanfaatan perpustakaan. Transformasi tersebut berdampak positif terhadap akses dan minat baca siswa, meskipun masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas dan literasi digital. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan infrastruktur dan pelatihan bagi pengelola dan siswa untuk mendukung optimalisasi perpustakaan digital di lingkungan sekolah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pelaksanaan manajemen dan digitalisasi perpustakaan di SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya dalam mendukung literasi serta layanan informasi bagi komunitas sekolah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan kepala perpustakaan, serta dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan telah memiliki struktur organisasi yang jelas dan sistem operasional yang teratur, meliputi layanan teknis, layanan kepada pemustaka, dan layanan IT. Proses klasifikasi dan katalogisasi dilaksanakan secara teratur dengan menggunakan sistem Klasifikasi Desimal Dewey (DDC) dan aplikasi SLiMS yang terhubung dengan OPAC, sehingga memungkinkan akses katalog secara online. Layanan yang tersedia di perpustakaan mencakup peminjaman, pengembalian, perpanjangan, reservasi, dan penggantian koleksi. Selain itu, program literasi Pojok Baca yang tersebar di gazebo sekolah menyediakan buku fisik dan akses ke e-book melalui barcode scanning, yang membantu menguatkan budaya literasi dalam bentuk digital dan informal di kalangan siswa. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi dan manajemen perpustakaan memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan akses terhadap informasi, efisiensi layanan, dan minat baca di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kolaboratif siswa kelas X-3 SMAN 1 Pademawu. Permasalahan yang diangkat berkaitan dengan rendahnya keterampilan siswa dalam bekerja sama, berkomunikasi, dan bertanggung jawab dalam kelompok. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Carr & Kemmis melalui dua siklus. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket dan observasi yang telah divalidasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa seluruh indikator kolaborasi—ketergantungan positif, interaksi langsung, tanggung jawab individu, komunikasi, dan kerja kelompok—mengalami peningkatan. Rata-rata keterampilan kolaborasi meningkat dari 61,98% pada pra-siklus menjadi 72,36% di siklus I, dan 85,55% di siklus II. Dengan demikian, PBL terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat keterampilan kolaborasi siswa secara bertahap dan relevan dengan tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21.

Abstract

The current classroom action research aims to enhance the active participation of the students in group tasks through the application of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approaches in the context of English language learning for Grade X students of SMA Negeri 3 Bogor. This study addresses the problem of the lack of student participation and contribution in group tasks, which has negatively affected the effectiveness of collective learning results. The research was conducted in two cycles, with planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The data were obtained from observation, students’ test scores to assess their grammar mastery, and from reflective journals to gain insight into their learning experiences and engagement with the instructional methods. The results showed that PBL approach, particularly after integrating game-based learning elements in the second cycle, was effective in increasing students’ engagement during group work by encouraging better communication, cooperation, and responsibility among members. Students became more confident in sharing ideas, showed greater enthusiasm, and demonstrated improved understanding of gerunds and to-infinitives, which was also reflected in the increase of their average test scores from 41,08 to 66,27. This indicates that when PBL is applied in a structured and interactive way, it can significantly enhance student participation and improve grammar learning outcomes.

Abstract

This article explores the implementation and impact of the credit-modular system (ECTS) in the higher education sector of Uzbekistan. The study is motivated by recent reforms aimed at improving educational quality, student autonomy, and alignment with international standards. Based on document analysis, academic literature, and empirical data gathered through interviews and surveys at a technical university, the article assesses how the CMS influences teaching and learning processes. The research reveals that ECTS encourages a shift from teacher-centered to student-centered learning, promoting independence, critical thinking, and time management. A comparative table outlines the fundamental differences between the traditional and modular systems in terms of flexibility, curriculum design, and assessment. Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Optimalisasi Hasil Belajar Peserta PAK kelas IV SDK Waibalun II Pada Materi Diriku Unik Dengan Metode Paikem Gembrot Semester I Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024”. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mengoptimalkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Katolik kelas IV SDK Waibalun II pada empat aspek penilaian PAK yang meliputi penilaian sikap spiritual, sikap sosial, pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada materi “Diriku Unik”. Berdasarkan rumusan masalah diatas maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana metode Paikem Gembrot mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Katolik kelas IV SDK Waibalun II pada materi Diriku Unik khususnya dan pelajaran Agama Katolik kelas IV pada umumnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 19 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I mencapai 73 % yang berarti dalam kriteria cukup dan belum ada perubahan sikap spiritual, sikap sosial, pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada materi “Diriku Unik”, dan pada siklus II perubahan hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dan telah mencapai indikator ketercapaian pembelajaran 100 %. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode Paikem Gembrot pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik melalui materi “Diriku Unik” dapat mengoptimalkan hasil belajar PAK kelas IV SDK Waibalun II semester I Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

This study examines the transformational trends of trade unions’ activities and functions in the context of New Uzbekistan. The main objective is to analyze how trade unions, as institutions of civil society, adapt to ongoing political, social, and economic reforms while maintaining their role in protecting the socio-economic interests of workers. The study employs a qualitative and analytical approach, drawing on legal frameworks, policy documents, and international experiences of trade union development. The findings reveal that the adoption of the Law “On Trade Unions” (2019) and the recent constitutional reforms have significantly expanded the rights and opportunities of trade unions, strengthening their independence and enhancing their role in social partnership. Furthermore, trade unions in Uzbekistan are increasingly aligning their practices with international labor standards and building regional cooperation, particularly through the Council of Trade Unions of Central Asian Countries. In conclusion, the study highlights that New Trade Unions in Uzbekistan are not only organizationally restructured but also functionally redefined to address modern challenges such as globalization, digitalization of work, and labor market transformations. These changes indicate that trade unions are becoming an important factor in building a democratic society and ensuring social justice in New Uzbekistan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the perceptions and practices of reflective teaching and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) among pre-service English teachers in Uzbekistan. A quantitative, cross-sectional survey design was employed, involving 263 undergraduate students from four universities specializing in English language teacher education. Data were collected through structured questionnaires administered online and analyzed descriptively. The findings show that while most students demonstrate a basic awareness of reflective practice and CPD, their engagement is often irregular and superficial. The most common reflective activities were self-assessment and peer discussions, whereas deeper methods such as learning journals and portfolios were less practiced. Key barriers included lack of time, insufficient training, low confidence in self-assessment, and limited institutional support. Nevertheless, participants acknowledged that reflective practice positively influences their professional growth, particularly when supported by digital tools and guided mentorship. The study concludes that for reflective practice to effectively contribute to teacher professional development, it should be integrated systematically into teacher education curricula. Structured reflection sessions, capacity-building programs, and the incorporation of digital tools are recommended to enhance sustainability and impact.
