Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the stigma of society towards children with disabilities in Bengkulu province. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation analysis, interviews, and documentation. Respondents in this study were the village head and three parents of children with disabilities. The results of the study indicate that the stigma towards children with disabilities in the Village is still very strong and includes various negative views, both towards children and their families. This stigma appears in the form of negative labels such as "stupid children," "naughty children," "cursed children," or "family burdens." Abstract

This study aims to explore parenting patterns in the formation of early childhood morals. In the context of globalization that brings changes in values, parents are faced with the challenge of educating their children to have good character. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, which allows researchers to obtain in-depth data through interviews and direct observation. The findings demonstrate how parents' parenting styles vary greatly based on the traits of each child and the dynamics of the family. Children's moral development has been demonstrated to benefit from democratic and authoritarian parenting, as seen by improvements in self-esteem, politeness, and goal orientation. This study highlights the value of parents actively teaching their children morality from a young age and the necessity of understanding how technology affects parenting. It is believed that parents would be more equipped to mold their children's moral character in the future if they are aware of the types and advantages of good parenting. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the presence of working mothers on children's social development using Vygotsky's theoretical perspective as an analytical framework. The method used is descriptive qualitative research, which relies on in-depth analysis of phenomena that occur in society, especially related to children's social interactions in the context of working mothers. The results of the study indicate that even though mothers work, children can still experience positive social development if there is sufficient interaction with other family members and the school environment. The role of grandmothers or other close family members in caring for children has also proven effective in maintaining a balance between work and family responsibilities. In addition, the results of this study highlight the importance of cooperative learning and scaffolding in supporting child development, as well as the role of teachers in providing a learning environment that is in accordance with Vygotsky's theory. The implications of this study indicate that the balance between work and family life, as well as adequate emotional support, are important factors in supporting children's holistic development. The emotional impacts arising from the presence or absence of working mothers must also be considered in designing policies that support family welfare and child development. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of parenting on the cultivation of the value of love for homeland and local culture in early childhood. In the era of globalization that brings foreign cultural influences, the role of parents as educators at home is very important. Through a qualitative approach and literature study, this research found that democratic parenting is more effective in building children's sense of attachment to their culture, through involvement in discussions and direct experience. In contrast, authoritarian and permissive parenting can hinder children's understanding of cultural values and reduce their love for their homeland. The results of this study emphasize the importance of creating a balanced, loving environment and providing clear guidance so that children can grow into individuals who are proud of their cultural identity. Thus, parents are expected to implement parenting patterns that support the cultivation of national and cultural values in the next generation. Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how kindergarten students aged 4 to 6 years develop their faith and character through a combination of religious and moral teaching. This research uses a qualitative research methodology which involves direct observation and the involvement of researchers in learning activities aimed at understanding moral and religious principles. Observations, interviews with parents and teachers, and recording class activities are some of the data collection techniques used in this research. The development of children's personality and faith is greatly influenced by religious habituation through routine activities of congregational prayer, sharing and instilling morals of honesty, empathy and discipline. Children's social and emotional behavior is developing better, and children are better able to internalize religious beliefs in everyday life. Activities that are carried out regularly and involve all parties, namely teachers, parents and the community, have proven successful in cultivating a strong moral foundation and strengthening children's faith from an early age. In order to develop character and faith that is manifested in everyday life, this research emphasizes the importance of including religious and moral education as part of a comprehensive early childhood education approach. Keywords: early childhood, habituation, moral education, and character.
