Abstract

Students typically need help understanding a succession of stories, relating mathematical concepts, and formulating them logically, systematically, and critically. Thus, students' math skills still need to improve. Students' mathematical intelligence, which has yet to be employed to solve story-form questions, affects their math abilities. This study examines MTs Walisongo Sukajadi class VIII students' mathematical and logical abilities. This research is quantitative and ex post facto. This study included 25 MTs Walisongo Sukajadi class VIII pupils. This study randomly selected 25 pupils from the population. Data is collected using surveys and tests. Data analysis uses Simple Linear Regression. This research found that Y = -8.728 + 0.958X is the regression equation from the analysis above. Statistical hypothesis testing yields Fcount = 50.200 and Ftable = 4.22. Since Fcount > Ftable and 0.000 > 0.05, H0 was rejected. This suggests that mathematical and logical intelligence positively and significantly affects SPLDV tale problem-solving. The R2 value of 0.686 shows how much mathematical and logical intelligence affects problem-solving. After utilizing the determinant method was 68.6%, meaning logical intellect contributed 68.6% to problem-solving, whereas other variables contributed 31.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of simulation-based mathematics learning media in developing the cognitive abilities of early childhood. This media is an interactive approach that utilizes a digital or virtual environment to represent mathematical concepts in a concrete and engaging manner for children. Through simulation, children can explore, manipulate, and solve mathematical problems directly, thereby encouraging active engagement and meaningful learning. Recent studies have shown that the use of simulation media can improve conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities in early childhood. Simulation also provides an adaptive learning experience that can be tailored to the needs and learning styles of each child, effectively accommodating the diversity of cognitive abilities in the classroom. In addition, simulation media supports cognitive development in accordance with Piaget's and Vygotsky's theories, where children learn through active interaction with the environment and guidance from adults. This study highlights the importance of selecting and developing simulation media that are appropriate to the cognitive developmental stage of early childhood, as well as the need to evaluate the effectiveness of these media through valid and reliable measuring instruments. Thus, simulation-based mathematics learning media has the potential to be an innovative solution in improving the quality of mathematics learning and supporting the optimal cognitive development of early childhood.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Edmodo-based e-learning media integrated with Macromedia Flash 08 for middle school students on sequences and series. The development of this media used a 3-D model (Define, Design, Develop) and focused on assessing the resulting product's validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Validation results showed that the developed learning media were highly valid, with a validity score of 4.68 from media experts and 4.62 from material experts. Regarding practicality, this media was deemed easy to use by teachers (score 4.53) and students (score 4.48). The media's effectiveness was also evident in the student learning achievement rate of 95% and the average positive student response rate of 89%. This learning media increased student interest and motivation in learning mathematics and made learning more engaging and interactive. However, there are challenges such as internet connection stability and the time required to access materials through Edmodo and Macromedia Flash. Overall, Edmodo-based e-learning media combined with Macromedia Flash 08 is a suitable alternative to support mathematics learning in the digital age.

Abstract

The learning model is a teacher's tool in the form of structured images that are presented to students. The learning model applied aims to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The author determines the purpose of this study. Namely to assess the impact of experiments on the subject's knowledge of mathematical concepts in geometry material. This type of research uses experimental research using a mind mapping learning model with a pre-experimental design, one-group pretest-posttest. Tests were carried out randomly or through cluster sampling on building materials class VII Realschule. The data collection tool that the researchers used for this research was a test designed to test students' understanding of concepts. The researcher interviewed teachers, students, and documents in this data collection method. A hypothesis test was carried out on the data obtained after conducting a sig5% level t-test, normality test, and homogeneity test on statistical data. It was found that students could not understand mathematical concepts (mind mapping). This dramatically influences the results of understanding mathematical concepts. After using this method, students receive higher performance scores than before. Based on the t-test results, we can conclude the difference in the value of learning outcomes before and after applying the author's teaching method.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di sekolah seringkali abstrak dan terpisah dari realitas kehidupan siswa, sehingga mengakibatkan rendahnya kemampuan literasi numerasi. Padahal, lingkungan siswa memiliki potensi konteks lokal berupa kegiatan peternakan domba yang kaya akan konsep matematika namun belum dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi data nyata usaha peternakan domba untuk diubah menjadi bahan ajar, serta menyusun spesifikasi kebutuhan pengembangan LKPD berbasis konteks. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) yang terbatas pada tahap pendahuluan, yaitu tahap Analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan di kandang ternak, wawancara mendalam dengan peternak, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian meliputi pedoman wawancara dan lembar observasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui empat tahap: analisis front-end, analisis tugas dan konsep (pencarian matematika), analisis karakteristik siswa, dan perumusan tujuan pembelajaran. Hasil analisis tugas dan konsep menunjukkan adanya konten matematika dalam kegiatan peternakan, yaitu: Aritmatika Sosial dalam data modal awal dengan rincian pembelian kambing dan biaya kandang, serta perbandingan harga jual pada hari kurban dan hari biasa, Perbandingan Nilai yang ditemukan dalam rasio campuran pupuk cair urin dibandingkan dengan air; Geometri dalam desain kandang yang ditinggikan dan literasi data tentang dinamika populasi beberapa domba dan tingkat kematian ternak. Konteks peternakan domba memenuhi syarat untuk dikembangkan menjadi cetak biru lembar kerja siswa (LKPD) menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa.

Abstract

Berbicara tentang sains, sudah jelas bahwa matematika termasuk dalam sains yang telah diceritakan diatas termasuk bagian dari Al-Qur’an, sehingga matematika bersumber dalam Al-Qur’an. Hal ini dapat dilihat bahwa al-qur’an terdiri atas bahasa verbal (tulisan) dan juga bahasa numerik (angka) yang keduanya merupakan bahasa simbol, dimana huruf mewakili bahasa bunyi dan angka mewakili bahasa bilangan, apa yang dilakukan anak-anak atau orang dewasa pada saat belajar membaca, mempelajari, dan memahami Al-Qur’an mereka diberi pemahaman tentang adanya angka atau bilangan, salah satunya dengan penekanan atau pengalaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan interkoneksi matematika Al-Qur’an terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan populasi quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII SMP TMI Raudlatul Qur’an Metro, yaitu kelas VII A kelas VII B .penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dilakukan secara acak, kelas A berjumlah 26 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas B berjumlah 26 sebagai kelas kontrol. Analisis yang digunakan adalah uji Anava satu jalur, dengan uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas diperoleh hasil berdistribusi normal dan uji homogenitas diperoleh hasil bahwa sampel bersifat homogen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII TMI Raudlatul Qur’an Metro yang diajar dengan pendekatan interkoneksi matematika Al-Qur’an termasuk dalam kategori baik. Selanjutnya Terdapat pengaruh signifikan pada pendekatan interkoneksi matematika Al – Qur’an terhadap hasil siswa pada materi himpunan di kelas VII TMI Raudlatul Qur’an Metro.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan kesenjangan signifikan antara potensi kewirausahaan berbasis budidaya sapi dengan minimnya aplikasi praktis pendidikan matematika dan rendahnya pemanfaatan platform digital pada peternak lokal. Observasi menunjukkan bahwa baik usaha penggemukan sapi maupun warga pemilik sapi peliharaan tidak melakukan perhitungan matematika secara rutin, seperti menghitung estimasi keuntungan (Return on Investment - ROI) atau biaya pakan, dan penggunaan teknologi terbatas pada komunikasi via WhatsApp. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan prototipe aplikasi edukasi digital, Math-Farm, berbasis Android untuk meningkatkan keterampilan Financial Literacy dan perhitungan ROI pada usaha budidaya sapi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadopsi Model 4D (Define dan Design). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi studi literatur sistematis (Systematic Literature Review - SLR) pada variabel Kewirausahaan, Pendidikan Matematika, dan Platform Aplikasi , serta observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam dengan subjek pemilik usaha/peternak di lokasi. Instrumen penelitian mencakup protokol SLR, matriks ekstraksi data, dan catatan lapangan/kuesioner wawancara. Analisis data pada tahap Define dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui sintesis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan merumuskan fitur aplikasi. Temuan penelitian yang dihasilkan adalah Dokumen Blueprint Desain Produk Aplikasi Math-Farm, yang mencakup flowchart dan wireframe fitur kalkulator biaya pakan dan modul perhitungan ROI, sebagai intervensi pendidikan matematika yang kontekstual untuk mendukung peningkatan kewirausahaan berbasis peternakan sapi.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan matematika, khususnya materi Aritmatika Sosial di sekolah dasar, belum optimal dalam menghubungkan konsep dengan konteks dunia nyata, termasuk pengembangan keterampilan kewirausahaan yang penting di abad ke-21. Fenomena bimbingan belajar sebagai inisiatif kewirausahaan sosial menunjukkan kebutuhan mendesak akan materi pengajaran inovatif yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan sosial (Edu-Sociopreneurship) dan Moderasi Agama. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan e-modul interaktif bernama “MathPreneur Modere” berdasarkan integrasi ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kewirausahaan siswa dan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Studi ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif sebagai bagian dari tahap analisis (Analisis Kebutuhan) dalam penelitian pengembangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi (terkait dengan kewirausahaan jasa pendidikan dan kualitas pembelajaran), wawancara (guru dan siswa), dan kuesioner kebutuhan. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan kuesioner kebutuhan pengembangan e-modul. Data dianalisis secara interaktif (reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan) berdasarkan model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya urgensi yang tinggi terhadap modul elektronik yang dapat mengintegrasikan pendidikan matematika dan kewirausahaan, karena bahan ajar yang ada saat ini tidak memfasilitasi keterampilan kewirausahaan sosial dan nilai-nilai moderasi keagamaan. Modul elektronik ini diyakini sebagai solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Matematika Sosial dan mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan pada siswa sekolah dasar, sejalan dengan kebutuhan akan bahan ajar yang inovatif, mandiri, dan kontekstual.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic hit almost all parts of the world, including Indonesia. It has been almost two years since the pandemic hit and has had an impact on various sectors including education. During the pandemic, learning was carried out online and felt less effective. Various government efforts have been made for faster recovery, especially in education. One of the government's efforts is through the KDS program (Lecturer-Teacher Partnership in Schools) through Lesson Study activities. This study aims to see the implementation of Lesson Study carried out together with junior high school teachers in partner schools. Through KDS (Lecturer-Teacher Partnership in School) activities by implementing Lesson study, compiling and implementing differentiated learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this research were students of SMP. Lesson Study stages, namely planning (Plan), implementation (Do), reflection (See) which are carried out with lecturers as facilitators and teachers in partner schools as model teachers and observers have been carried out properly in accordance with Lesson Study guidelines and the learning objectives can be achieved planned. Abstract

Discovery Learning is a learning model that changes learning from teacher-centred learning to student-centred learning so that students learn actively by discovering themselves, investigating themselves and cultivating a scientific attitude. The purpose of this research is to discover the research focus related to Discovery Learning in learning mathematics and its novelty. The method used is bibliometric analysis. The data taken comes from the Scopus database. The study results show increased publications related to Discovery Learning in mathematics learning from 2017 to 2023. The highest citation trend occurred in the 2017 publication, which has been cited 41 times. The country that has had a major impact on Discovery Learning research in mathematics learning is Indonesia. The research focus is divided into three parts, namely, 1) Discovery Learning, Mathematics Learning and student; 2) problem-solving and Indonesia; 3) junior high school and Geometry. New themes in this field are e-learning, teaching and learning, mathematical software, pre-service teachers, and technology.
