Abstract

This article focuses on the issue of the importance of partnerships for residents or communities in the city of Pekanbaru who gather in the community organization “Perhimpunan Keluarga Rambah Hilir” (PKRH) regarding the issue of the 2024 Election. The phenomenon in the field shows that there are still many PKRH residents who lack knowledge and ignore the prohibition on politicization of Ethnicity, Religion and Race (SARA) in the 2024 election. The target of this service activity is to increase knowledge and understanding of the target audience regarding partner problems. The solution offered and agreed upon by the proposing team and partners in overcoming the priority problems faced by partners is that it is necessary to conduct outreach or deliver material in the form of counseling and discussions. The method of this activity uses the lecture methodwhile the lecturer delivers the material, on that occasion, participants are free to ask questions and answers with the lecturer simultaneously. The details of this method are Material Delivery and Interactive dialogue. The dialogue mode has carried out as participants brainstorming activity to obtain opinion of such problems, aspirations, suggestions, ideas and solutions. The Partner expresses willingness, provides time and place, and mobilizes the community as the target audience. The output that will be produced according to this community service activity plan is: for partners, of course, increasing the understanding about the prohibitions and negative impacts of the politicization of SARA in elections.

Abstract

Industrial resource management training is an important aspect in increasing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of an industry. This training acceleration aims to accelerate the mastery of skills and knowledge needed in managing industrial products. This program is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of product management strategies, including planning, development, production, distribution and marketing. With structured and intensive training methods, it is hoped that participants will be able to apply industrial resource management concepts effectively in the work environment. The results of this accelerated training are expected to improve overall organizational performance, create high quality products, and strengthen competitiveness in the market. Case studies and practical simulations are used to ensure that participants not only understand the theory, but are also able to apply it in real situations. Abstract

This community service activity was organized by the Riau Provincial Tourism Office in order to improve the development of the tourism sector through the Riau Bujang Dara Selection event. The purpose of the Bujang Dara Riau Election is to find young people who have potential and are expected to become role models for other young people. The competition method is that participants are sons and daughters of the region who come from 12 regencies and cities in Riau Province. Furthermore, it is selected by the Regency and City Tourism Office respectively so that one pair of Bujang Dara winners will be selected as finalists and represent the area to continue to the Provincial Level Bujang Dara election. Furthermore, the judges assessed the cultural knowledge, traditional knowledge, intellectual knowledge, public speaking, character, education and insight of the finalists.

Abstract

The form of this activity is OPI (Indonesian Pelita Olympics) Magic 5.0 at the Pelita Indonesia Institute of Business and Technology which was organized by BEM IBT Pelita Indonesia with the theme "Millennial Advancement Generating Innovative Creativity". Various competitions were held at this Olympics, including; Web Design Competition, Bazaar Competition, Poster Design, 4D Mading Competition and Accounting Olympiad. The Accounting Competition itself is expected to be a forum for channeling competitive skills in the field of accounting and introducing the Indonesian Institute of Business and Technology in general, and the Accounting major in particular to high school/vocational school students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan Akuntansi Pariwisata untuk memberikan pemahaman dalam pembuatan laporan keuangan pada usaha pariwisata Kelompok Tani Taman Bunga Okura Rumai. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Tebing Tinggi Jl. Raja Panjang Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir, Kota Pekanbaru, Riau. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan dua tahap, yang pertama dengan pelatihan dalam bentuk ceramah, kemudian tahap kedua dilakukan dengan pendampingan penyusunan laporan keuangan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman tentang penyusunan laporan keuangan peserta menjadi 85% berdasarkan angket pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan. Output lainnya adalah tersedianya laporan keuangan sederhana dari usaha tersebut. Kontribusi yang diharapkan dari pemahaman kelompok terhadap laporan keuangan dan tersedianya laporan keuangan tersebut adalah dalam upaya Kelompok Tani Taman Bunga Okura dapat mengakses dana pemerintah maupun lembaga keuangan lain untuk mengembangkan usahanya.

Abstract

Superior product development is a strategic step in creating competitive products and meeting consumer needs effectively. The training held in Pekanbaru aims to increase the capacity of business actors in producing innovative and high-quality products, as well as build a network of collaboration with academics and industry. The focus of the training is directed at accelerating the product development process through various topics, including business feasibility analysis, marketing strategies, consumer behavior, and market segmentation techniques. With an approach that involves presentations, simulations, and interactive discussions, participants gain an in-depth understanding and practical skills to apply the training materials. The evaluation conducted through feedback aims to assess the effectiveness of the training and identify the need for further training. The results of this activity show an increase in participants' understanding and strengthen collaboration between business actors, academics, and the government in supporting the development of competitive superior products in the market.

Abstract

Remaja masjid menjadi wadah para pemuda muslim untuk mencintai dan memakmurkan kegiatan dilingkungan masjid. Kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan mupun sosial dilaksanakan untuk membina remaja muslim menjadi pribadi tangguh, tanggung jawab dan mampu beradaptasi. Kemampuan dan keterampilan digital sangat dibutuhkan saat ini, masih banyak remaja yang belum memahami potensi kemampuan dibidang ini. Padahal remaja merupakan generasi muda memiliki peluang untuk menjadi expert dibidang digital dengan memandaatkan platform digital Microsoft Office Excel dan Pemograman Web. Pelatihan ini memungkinkan remaja mempersiapkan diri menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja yang semakin digital. kombinasi karakter agama yang sudah tertanam dalam diri remaja masjid dan pengetahuan dibidang teknologi menjadi harapan besar masyarakat menjadi generasi penerus kemajuan bangsa. Remaja Masjid Al-Jauhar selalu mengadakan kegiatan keagamaan dan sosial. Keterbatasan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan keterampilan penggunaan Microsoft Office Excel dan Pemograman Web Dosen Jurusan Sistem Informasi Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Master Pekanbaru mengadakan pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul Pelatihan Microsoft Office Excel dan Pemograman Web sebagai Strategi Membangun Masa Depan dengan Keterampilan Digital Bagi remaja Masjid Al-Jauhar. Remaja akan dibimbing mempraktekkan fitur-fitur yang ada di Microsoft Office Word dan belajar coding menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP. Target hasil pelatihan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah kemampuan remaja masjid dalam menggunakan Aplikasi Microsoft Office Excel dan mahir dalam membuat aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan pemograman PHP dan MySQL.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) graduates are prepared to work in the public or private sector, or to work independently as entrepreneurs. Students are provided with technical skills based on their chosen major, as well as soft skills. However, the need for soft skills often does not receive enough attention. The soft skills training program for accounting students at SMK N 9 West Jakarta aims to help students understand the importance of soft skills. Students are expected to practice using soft skills that will support them in finding or creating jobs, writing cover letters, and creating interesting, informative, and effective Curriculum Vitae (CV). They are also expected to be confident when facing job interviews. It is hoped that the results of this training and mentoring will demonstrate that students understand the importance of soft skills such as communication, self-confidence, respect, open-mindedness, and honesty in the work environment and in daily life.

Abstract

The partner's problem is that SMK Ibnu Taimiyah Pekanbaru students as new voters in the 2024 simultaneous regional elections who are a strategic part of society do not yet know and understand the importance of participating in election supervision to improve quality. The target of community service activities is to increase knowledge and understanding of the importance of participating in election supervision to improve quality. The solution agreed by the proposing team with partners to overcome priority problems requires socialization in the form of counseling and face-to-face discussions. The method of implementing lectures, delivering materials, on this occasion participants are free to ask questions. The details of this method are, 1. Delivery of materials, 2. Interactive dialogue, this dialogue is a brainstorming session from participants to obtain input in the form of problems, aspirations, proposals, ideas and solutions. Partner participation provides time and mobilizes participants with student status or as target audiences. The output is expected to increase knowledge, understanding of the target audience regarding the importance of participatory supervision of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections, for the proposers the output achieved is in the form of scientific articles.

Abstract

The Department Student Association has an important role in developing leadership, managerial skills and synergy between members. However, various challenges such as weak coordination, lack of strategic planning, and lack of innovation often hinder the achievement of organizational goals. This community service program aims to increase the capacity of student organization administrators through a series of training. The approach used includes training on organizational governance, effective communication, and the use of digital technology in administration. With this method, it is hoped that administrators can increase their competence in managing the organization in a more professional, effective and innovative manner. The results of this program show an increase in management's understanding and skills in various aspects of organizational leadership and management. In addition, synergy between organizational members is getting stronger, enabling the creation of a more productive and collaborative work environment. This program is expected to have a long-term impact on the desires and achievements of student organizations, as well as building an organizational culture that is more adaptive and highly competitive in the academic environment and wider society. Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan kepemimpinan, keterampilan manajerial, serta sinergi antaranggota. Namun, berbagai tantangan seperti lemahnya koordinasi, kurangnya perencanaan strategis, serta minimnya inovasi seringkali menghambat pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengurus organisasi mahasiswa melalui serangkaian pelatihan. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan tentang tata kelola organisasi, komunikasi efektif, serta sejarah Himpunan dari masa ke masa. Dengan metode ini, diharapkan para pengurus dapat meningkatkan kompetensi dalam mengelola organisasi secara lebih profesional, efektif, dan inovatif. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengurus dalam berbagai aspek kepemimpinan dan manajemen organisasi. Selain itu, sinergi antaranggota organisasi semakin kuat, memungkinkan terciptanya lingkungan kerja yang lebih produktif dan kolaboratif. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak jangka panjang terhadap keberlanjutan dan prestasi organisasi mahasiswa, serta membangun budaya organisasi yang lebih adaptif dan berdaya saing tinggi di lingkungan akademik maupun masyarakat luas.
