Abstract

Ngayak Sasak is a form of old poetry used to express ideas, feelings, educational, and entertainment media. The purpose of this research is to gain concrete description about the forms of ngayak and its educational values. Based on the above explanation, in this research, the researcher tries to take the analysis of educational values and form of ngayak at Selaparang, Lombok, as the title of this thesis. The researcher uses the documentation technique and interview technique to collect the data by applying a direct question to the informants. The interview technique is used by the researcher to get the data that can be used as references in understanding Kayak. The research results are as follows: (1) Ngayak has close relationship with educational values, and it has high potential in society life because it contains a good suggestion and guidance for doing good deeds in our daily life. (2) For the societies, especially Selaparing society, it is hoped that the result of this study can be utilized as a guidance in investigating the values and norms contained in Ngayak Sasak.

Abstract

Project based learning is a learning method that uses projects/activities as media. Students carry out exploration, assessment, interpretation, synthesis and information to produce various forms of learning outcomes. The objectives of this research are (1) To determine the application of the project based learning model to making skirt grading patterns, (2) To determine the response of class XI students at SMK Negeri 3 Pamekasan to learning to make skirt grading patterns using the project based learning method, (3) To find out the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMK Negeri 3 Pamekasan after implementing learning using the project based learning method in making skirt grading patterns. The type of research applied is classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 3 Pamekasan with 31 students in class XI Fashion Design 1 consisting of 30 women and 1 boy. Class XI Fashion Design 2 has 34 students consisting of 34 women and 0 men at SMK Negeri 3 Pamekasan. The data collection methods used were (1) observation, (2) student learning outcomes tests. The research instruments used were (1) observation sheet, (2) test sheet. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results showed (1) Teacher activity in cycle 1 obtained a score of (70.6%) and experienced an increase in cycle 2 (82.9%) which was very good, (2) student activity in cycle 1 obtained a score of (70.8%) and experienced an increase in cycle 2 (83.8%), the increase in score was declared successful, (3) Student learning outcomes in cognitive, affective and psychomotor assessments from cycle 1 to cycle 2 experienced an increase with the completeness score reaching a total of (97%) which can be categorized as very good.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of discipline towards students so that students experience difficulties in understanding learning and hamper students' digestibility in understanding what the teacher explains, especially in learning material. The research hypothesis is that there is an influence of student discipline on the learning outcomes of class IV elementary school students at SDN Duren Seribu 01. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of student discipline on school learning outcomes. This research was carried out at SDN Duren Seribu 01, Duren Seribu Village, Bojongsari District, Depok City. The research population used in this research was class IV B with a sample of 27 students. The instrument given is a description test with a total of 15 questions to see the students' learning results. This research was conducted with pre-experimental research using a quantitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, tests, and documentation, then success in this research was proven by the T test with results showing 0.001 < 0.05, thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of learning discipline on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This article aims to explain and describe the Management System of Lubuak Nan Tigo Art Studio Solok City. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research instrument is its own research and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery, cameras and flash drives. This research data uses primary data and secondary data. Data were collected through literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study show that Lubuak Nan Tigo Art Studio runs a democratic management system, cooperation, cohesiveness and seriousness in carrying out duties. The management functions used are planning, organizing, actuating, supervision. Which for the achievement of a good management system requires cooperation, seriousness and cohesion from the members. If one of the management processes does not work, then the results will not be as expected. With the provision of motivation and input from the studio leadership, all members in charge of carrying out their respective duties responsibly, thus making the management system of Lubuak Nan Tigo Art Studio run well and be able to dominate the entertainment land industry market, especially in Solok City.

Abstract

Language cannot be separated from socio-cultural influences because language use is the reality of communication that occurs in social interactions. This article uses the systematic literature review method which in this method uses in-depth review studies and uses references from articles, books and research journals. The purpose of this study is to find out about Chinese language learning from a socio-cultural point of view. Language and culture viewed in balance are significant in foreign language teaching. Successful communication between two communicators from different cultures does not depend on mastery of linguistic aspects, including grammar and sociopragmatic structures, but also on the ability to capture, understand and empathize with the culture of the communication partner. This shows that there is harmony between foreign language and culture and one's own language and culture.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of vocabulary development among students, making it difficult for students to understand reading written texts and hampering students' digestibility in understanding the contents of the text, especially in learning material. The research hypothesis is that there is an influence of short story reading literacy on the vocabulary development of grade IV elementary school students at SDN Duren Seribu 01. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of short story reading literacy on elementary school students' vocabulary development. This research was carried out at SDN Diren Seribu 01, Duren Seribu Village, Bojongsari District, Depok City. The research population used in this research was class IV C with a sample of 29 students. The instrument given is a description test with a total of 10 questions to develop students' vocabulary. This research was conducted with pre-experimental research using a quantitative approach method. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, tests, and documentation. Success in this research was proven by the T test with results showing 0.000 < α (0.05). Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of literacy in reading short stories on vocabulary development. student.

Abstract

Volleyball is a fun and easy game to play together in a team. In the game of volleyball, players must understand four basic techniques: serve, passing, block, and smash. A very important basic technique in earning or scoring points is smash. This study aims to determine the effect of smash training using hanging balls on smash accuracy in female athletes at the Poncogati Club, Blitar Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative method of experimentation with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population and sample in this study were 21 junior high school students using the purposive sampling method, which means the entire population is taken randomly according to certain criteria. The data analysis techniques applied are descriptive analysis tests, hypothesis tests, and normality tests. The results of this study showed that the Sig.(2-tailed) value of 0.00 in the T test could be concluded that there was a significant influence between the variation of smash training using hanging balls on the accuracy of smashes in young female volleyball athletes of the Poncogati club.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the plot of the drama script "Nilam binti Malin" by Karta Kusumah which is seen from the overall development of the plot. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical methods. This research instrument is the researcher himself as the main instrument, data collection is carried out through the stages of literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The steps in analyzing data are collecting data, describing the data, analyzing, and making conclusions. The results showed that the plot of the drama Nilam bint Malin used Henshaw's Montage theory, namely Exposition, Generating Circumstance, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and Cata Strophe. The exposition introduces the character of Nilam, Malin's daughter, as well as other figures such as Malin, Mandeh, Warga, Kru Kapal, and Tukang Kaba. The flow of events began to move right when Patchouli arrived at Air manis Beach and began to know about problems in the village. Until the part where the situation began to heat up where Nilam began to know the problems that existed in Air Manis village and Nilam knew what was the reason behind her father who was petrified on the beach.

Abstract

This research focuses on exploring the cosmological and humanization values contained in the Blatan Balikculture of the Ipir, Nuha and Hebing tribes gathered in one traditional house in Tanarawa, Waiblama, Maumere-Flores-East Nusa Tenggara. Blatan Balikculture is a rite that contains reconciling the cosmos with fellow creations or in the language of Tana Ai (blatan gahu rou), and the second is cooling valuable items stored in traditional houses such as gongs, bahar, ivory and other valuable objects in the traditional house (lepo). These two rites are an act of respect and reconciliation with creation. Therefore, exploring the comological and humanization wealth contained in the Blatan Balikculture is a form of respect for the nature of creation and also a process of humanization and the value of local wisdom. Respect for created nature and a process of humanization is the basis of life wisdom in the form of a framework of knowledge, a framework of belief both in integralistic family unity or unity in the wider community, and shows the noble values in the culture. So exploring the wealth of cosmology and humanization in the Blatan Balikculture is a form of respect for nature and reconciliation with fellow creatures and a life wisdom of the Tana Ai- Tanarawa, Waiblama, Maumere-Flores-East Nusa Tenggara community. This research uses qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews and literature studies, collecting sources from journals, related books. This research found that the Blatan Balikculture of the Nuha Tanarawa tribe is a model of humanization and cosmology relations, between fellow humans, nature, other fellow creations and the giver of life. The values that flow from this culture are reconciliation and responsibility for nature, preservation of valuable objects in the Nuha tribe, and human harmony in relationships. The contribution of this research lies in the ultimate values and wisdom of the Tana Ai people in maintaining humanization relations between others and preserving nature.

Abstract

. This study aims to describe the process of implementing Talempong Pacik Music learning in grades VIII-1 at SMP Negeri 43 Padang. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments in the form of stationery and cameras. This research data uses primary data and secondary data. Data are collected through literature study, observation, interviews, documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data classification, analyzing data, and inferring data. The results showed that the implementation of learning Traditional Music Culture Arts (Talempong Pacik) in Grades VIII-1 SMP Negeri 43 Padang consisted of 4 meetings, namely initial activities, core activities and closing activities. The scores of students after the implementation of Traditional Music Culture (Talempong Pacik) learning activities are still many who have not reached KKM, there are 15 students who have not reached KKM and 8 students can only achieve predetermined KKM standard scores and there are 9 students who get scores that exceed KKM. The learning process has not fully obtained satisfactory learning results. Teacher limitations in using teaching aids and limited time in practical activities, teachers continue to try to motivate students, so that students continue to be enthusiastic in the process of learning activities, students still look rigid in carrying out learning activities including in the process of traditional music learner practice activities, so that there are still many student scores below KKM, and the rest only reach the KKM limit. So it is known that students have not received maximum grade results.
