Abstract

The ability to read in Arabic is important for understanding the language and improving speaking and writing skills. The use of technology-based learning such as blended learning that combines traditional and digital methods is considered capable of increasing learning effectiveness and providing flexibility according to student needs, especially in the industrial era 4.0. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of blended learning in improving reading skills and its success factors at MTs Al-Munawaroh. With a single group pretest-posttest design experimental quantitative approach, the researcher tested 20 seventh grade students using valid instruments that were analyzed through a T-test in SPSS. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 81.60 to 91.80 which was statistically significant. The implementation of blended learning was done through the presentation of learning videos, structured testing, and the use of digital devices that support interactivity and learning independence. Despite the limitations, the results of this study confirm the effectiveness of blended learning and the importance of developing this model to be applied more widely in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran pada topik perubahan energi di kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Dadapan. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pelajaran IPA, terutama pada materi yang bersifat abstrak seperti perubahan energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas satu guru kelas IV dan 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran berdampak positif terhadap keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Visualisasi yang ditampilkan dalam video membantu siswa memahami konsep kompleks dengan mengaitkannya pada pengalaman sehari-hari. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan konsentrasi dan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Guru juga merasakan manfaat dari penggunaan media video, karena proses mengajar menjadi lebih efisien dan menyenangkan. Namun, ditemukan pula beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sarana teknologi dan pentingnya pemilihan video yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan perkembangan siswa. Kesimpulannya, video pembelajaran terbukti efektif sebagai media pendukung dalam penyampaian materi IPA yang bersifat abstrak serta berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

In this era of Revolution 4.0, technological advances have experienced rapiddevelopment, marked by the emergence of various new discoveries, one ofwhich is BigData. Big Data is defined as a very large collection of information. The presenceof BigData plays an important role in helping individuals explore the internet.The method used in this study is a literature review or narrative review. Data andinformation sources are collected from various available materials, such documents,articles, and books. The purpose of this study is to understand the use of bigdata inimproving students' digital literacy through online learning systems or e-learning.The results of the study show that Big Data can indirectly contribute to improving thequality of students' digital literacy. However, the use of this technology also faceschallenges, especially for students and educators in remote areas who have limited access to adequate technology. Big Data has a role in facilitating access to informationon the internet, as well as storing large volumes of material, media, and learning modeldata. E-learning functions as a bridge for students in utilizing technology effectively

Abstract

he Pancasila Student Profile serves as a fundamental framework for character development among Indonesian students in the 21st century. It encompasses six essential dimensions: faith and devotion to God Almighty alongside noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence,critical thinking,and creativity.This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection methods such as observation,interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the integration of these six dimensions has been implemented in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning process, covering the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Teachers employ instructional methods such as discovery learning and project-based learning to foster student character. Although the implementation is generally effective supported by teacher training and value-based activities challenges remain, including limited infrastructure,diverse student characteristics,and budget constraints. Therefore,there is a need for strategies that strengthen facilities,adopt adaptive teaching approaches,and enhance external collaboration to optimize character development through PAI.

Abstract

Problematics refers to problems that have not been resolved. Memorizing the Qur'an means reading it repeatedly and continuously orally so that memories are created that are embedded in the heart and mind, so that they can be applied in everyday life. Learning psychology is a field of study that focuses on understanding and analyzing principles related to human behavior during the learning process. The focus of the problem in this study is (1).How the problems of memorizing the Qur'an at the Darul Falah III Cukir Jombang Islamic Boarding School, (2). How the problems of students in memorizing the Qur'an Review of the psychology of learning at the Darul Falah III Cukir Jombang Islamic Boarding School, (3). What are the factors that influence memorizing the Qur'an at the Darul Falah III Cukir Jombang Islamic Boarding School. To obtain answers to questions from the research focus, the researcher applied a qualitative field research method with a case study type and data collection techniques including observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study (1) Problems in Memorizing the Qur'an of students in memorizing the Qur'an are divided into two, namely Internal Factors including demotivation, boredom, laziness, weak memory, and difficulty in managing time. External Factors include difficulty memorizing long letters (As-Sab'ut Tiwal), concentration disorders due to the use of mobile phones, lack of mastery of tajwid science, and the influence of an unfavorable environment. (2) Problems in memorizing the Qur'an when viewed from the perspective of learning psychology are in accordance with the Behaviorist Theory in the form of external pressure (such as parental demands) without positive encouragement causing stress and decreased motivation. Cognitive Theory in the form of physical fatigue that increases cognitive load so that it inhibits the storage of information in working memory. Emotional disorders (anxiety, not in the mood) in accordance with the Humanistic Theory, namely emotional instability and an uncomfortable environment inhibit self-actualization. (3) Factors that influence students' memorization in the memorization process include the Murajaah System, the role of teachers, various memorization methods that are adjusted to the needs of students. A conducive Islamic boarding school environment and peer support.

Abstract

The management of incoming and outgoing letters at the Office of Community Empowerment of Banyuwangi Regency is still carried out manually, resulting in inefficiencies and disorganized archiving. To address this issue, a web-based letter archiving information system was designed and developed. This study aims to produce an information system that facilitates structured and efficient document management. The development method used is the waterfall model. The results of this research indicate that the developed system meets user requirements and significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of handling correspondence. By utilizing information technology, the archiving process becomes faster, more integrated, and error-resistant, thereby supporting better public service delivery.

Abstract

Reading skills are a fundamental aspect of the learning process, as they contribute significantly to the establishment of a solid academic foundation and the development of essential life competencies. One instructional model considered effective in supporting the mastery of these skills is CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning). This study aims to comprehensively examine the stages of implementation, strengths, and weaknesses in applying the CLIL model in language subjects at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Klaten Regency and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 5 Karanganyar. This research employs a qualitative approach. The subjects of the study are teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Klaten and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 5 Karanganyar, with language teachers serving as the informants. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study are as follows: (1) Determining content and language learning objectives; Preparing materials and key vocabulary; Using visual aids and supporting texts; Encouraging student collaboration; Conducting continuous assessment. (2) The strengths of the CLIL model include enhancing mastery of both content and language simultaneously (dual-focused learning); Promoting the use of foreign languages in real and meaningful contexts; Increasing learning motivation as the material feels relevant and applicable. (3) The weaknesses of the CLIL model are: teachers often lack dual training in foreign language proficiency and academic content; a shortage of adequate teaching materials for the CLIL model; and increased teacher workload due to the need to design complex lessons. The conclusion of this study is that the CLIL model can be implemented in the learning process as an effort to improve reading skills during instruction at the Madrasah or school level.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly contributed to the emergence of modern crimes, one of which is online gambling. Under Indonesia’s positive law, online gambling is a criminal offense regulated by the Criminal Code (KUHP) and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law). However, in the context of Fiqh Jināyah (Islamic criminal law), gambling is classified as a jarīmah taʿzīr a reprehensible act whose punishment is determined by the authority of the Islamic government. This study aims to analyze the status of online gambling within Fiqh Jināyah and how Islamic legal approaches provide solutions to the growing issue of online gambling. The research method used is library research with a normative and Islamic legal approach. The results show that online gambling causes both individual and social harm and contradicts the principles of Islamic law. Therefore, law enforcement against online gambling perpetrators should not only focus on criminal sanctions but also include spiritual and social rehabilitation.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a major impact on social interaction patterns, including in terms of deviant sexual behavior in the virtual realm. One case that has emerged is the existence of the "Incestuous Fantasy" group on the Facebook platform, which has become a place for the spread of deviant sexual content based on incest virtually. This study aims to analyze this phenomenon through the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence, a branch of Islamic jurisprudence that discusses Islamic criminal law. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach with a juridical and normative analysis of classical Islamic jurisprudence texts, and is associated with the reality of virtual sexual crimes in the digital era. The results of the study show that the activities in the group fulfill the elements of jarimah (criminal acts) in Islam, especially related to the jarimah of zina, fahisyah (vile acts), and the spread of evil. Even though it occurs in the virtual realm, Islamic jurisprudence views these actions as a form of crime that damages morals and social order, so that the perpetrators can still be subject to ta'zir punishment. This study emphasizes the importance of updating Islamic law in responding to the challenges of information technology-based sexual crimes.

Abstract

Student motivation is one of the key factors in successful learning, particularly in the subject of Akidah Akhlak. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in fostering student motivation in Grade X, its impact on student enthusiasm and engagement in learning, as well as the factors that support and hinder its implementation at MA Takhassus Al-Qur’an 1 Mojotengah. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the PBL model is systematically implemented through five main stages and is able to enhance active participation, critical thinking, independence, and intrinsic motivation among students. The success of PBL implementation is supported by high student involvement, teacher support, and a supportive learning environment. However, challenges such as uneven participation within groups, time constraints, and teachers' readiness in designing learning scenarios still require attention. Overall, the PBL model has proven effective in fostering students' learning enthusiasm and is worthy of further development in Akidah Akhlak education.
