Abstract

The most common virus on the earth is bacteriophage (or phages) that are present in all organisms. Their classification is currently being evaluated based on the phage's unique and antibacterial properties. The phage replicates within the host through a lytic or lysogenic process following infection and use of a bacterial cell machine. Phage has become an effective therapeutic drug against pathogens after twort and Filex d'Herelle discovery of bacteriophage in the 1900s, and subsequent research has been conducted. Nevertheless, bacteriophage therapy has become an unavoidable option for research due to the recent occurrence of bacterial antibiotics resistance. Around fifty years after antibiotic were found, antibiotics resistance is key risk for health care. Antimicrobial resistance is a rising big issue in global healthcare. The WHO, 1st report on antimicrobial resistances globally, has emphasized the threat of a forthcoming post antibiotics age, where little infection could be not treatable and once again will be fatal. Considering the present condition, producing therapeutic agent that are complementary to antibiotics play great role to fight against antibiotic resistance. The crisis requires development and implementation of new therapeutic agents against infections and phage therapy is suitable to control infectious diseases because safety of phage therapy. There is a perception with regards to phage therapy that phages are usually safe, on the bases of fact that they are ubiquitous in nature and our continued contact to phages in the environment and furthermore that they are widely used without adverse effects in many of the world. with this positive interpretation, the application of phage therapy must be verified by current research studies. bacteriophage preparations contain detrimental substances, such as toxins of gram-negative bacteria, during the formulation process of bacteriophage and that can be remove by different purification methods. Phages effects normal flora GIT negligibly due to specificity in nature and they infect only a small number of bacterial species.

Abstract

The Pregnant Women class program is one of the government programs to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about pregnancy, preparation for childbirth, postpartum, newborns, and toddler development so that mothers are expected to be able to identify health problems experienced, but maternal participation in the class of pregnant women is low. The husband's social support is a strengthening factor for mothers to be able to participate in classes for pregnant women. This study aims to see whether there is a relationship between a husband's social support and participation in classes for pregnant women. This study is an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling by consecutive sampling of 78 people. This research was conducted from April 1 to May 1, 2019, at the Denpasar City Health Center. The results showed that most of the husband's social support was weak (56%) and mothers did not participate in classes for pregnant women (56%). Statistical tests with the correlation of contingency coefficients obtained ρ = 0.000 value and r value = 0.707, meaning that there is a strong relationship between the husband's social support and participation in pregnant women's classes. The implication of this study is to increase knowledge related to husbands' social support factors that play a role in women's participation in pregnant women's classes.

Abstract

Parental bonding is a bonding relationship between parents, both physically and emotionally, that helps shape emotions during the long-term growth and development of adolescents. Generally, parental bonding often refers to an imbalance between care and protection directed by parents toward their children. If it is associated with health conditions such as mental illness, strong parental bonding will affect positive behavior and good and healthy relationships. And if left unchecked, parents will find it difficult to control their children. Adolescents tend to report their feelings to friends when they have problems, such as feeling unwelcome; parents never understand; children don't pay attention to children; parents enter children's privacy spaces; and parents control everything their children do.

Abstract

This review primarily focuses on the Role of metalloproteinase (ADAM 17). Gynecological disease contributes to approximately 4.5% of the worldwide disease burden. Gynecological problems in women of reproductive age are linked to both In terms of diagnosis and treatment. Because there are no defined biomarkers, identifying gynecological disorders, particularly malignancies, has been difficult in most cases, and histopathological exams remained the gold benchmark. M.M.P.s, ADAMs, and ADAMTSs, as well as their endogenous inhibitors (TIMPs), influence the protease-dependent bioavailability of local niche components. ADAM 17 has been implicated in various pathological processes, including inflammatory response, cardiovascular disease, and, recently, ovarian dysfunction. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrinopathy in women of reproductive age and is characterized by chronic anovulation, insulin resistance, and increased prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors. So far, the PCOS has not assessed the circulating levels of MMPs and their tissue inhibitors (TIMPs). This review will concentrate on the Role of (ADAM17) in regulating gynecological disorder (PCOS) and their consequent modulation for therapeutic intervention.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, driven by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, has brought about substantial global lifestyle changes. Governments worldwide have responded with various strategies, including the implementation of social distancing, which necessitates maintaining physical distance and limiting social interactions to curb virus transmission. This study seeks to assess the pandemic's effects on adolescent mental health and identify potential strategies for fostering positive mental well-being during these trying times. Utilizing systematic review and literature methods, data were collected from research journals conducted by experts and sourced from two databases, Google Scholar and PubMed. The findings indicate a notable impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescent mental health, with disruptions in daily routines, especially due to distance learning resulting from social distancing measures, contributing to increased mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma among adolescents. In conclusion, this analysis, based on a review of 12 pertinent articles, underscores the significant influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescent mental health. Effective efforts aimed at promoting positive mental well-being during this crisis require further attention to mitigate the resultant negative consequences. Further research and tailored preventive measures are crucial for assisting adolescents in navigating the mental health challenges posed by this ongoing pandemic.

Abstract

The research aims to investigate the clinical manifestations of neurodevelopmental problems in children with different facies and CCNK gene mutant characteristics. A literature study was carried out to identify the role of CCNK mutations in IDDHDF. Chinese and international search engines like PubMed, MEDLINE, Wanfang Data Knowledge, and Google Scholar were used to search. The search phrases "CCNK", "intellectual developmental disorder", "hypertelorism", and "distinctive facies" were used. A total of 5 studies were found, 11 cases were presented, 3 were thoroughly discussed, and 1 case was presented in this study. The clinical signs and genetic characteristics of children with intellectual developmental disorders with hypertelorism and unique facies were summarized. A male child was 1 year 4 months old. Last 1 year, he appeared of motor and cognitive lag, unable to crawl or stand. He had a large forehead head, wide eye spacing, and cognitive deficiencies, and he was clinically diagnosed with global developmental delay. C.437(exon5) T>C was not found in any of the child's parents and represents a de novo mutation. The main clinical signs were impairments in intellectual development, wide eye spacing, and facial feature features. The findings of the studies discussed here imply that mutations in the CCNK gene may cause IDDHDF. This is a very new kind of study in China to uncover the clinical aspects of a case of Intellectual developmental disorder with hypertelorism and distinctive facies (IDDF). It's discovered that wild-type mRNA coding CCNK partially repaired early defects but not the mRNA with the identified likely pathogenic variation c.331A>G. This shows that CCNK variations are involved in IDDF. The researchers also discovered that the likely pathogenic mutation c.331A>G may induce IDDF via a haploinsufficiency mechanism.
