Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of implementing problem-based learning in an effort to develop students' critical thinking abilities. One of the advantages of the problem-based learning model is that it is able to train students to use various concepts, principles, and skills that they have learned to solve the problems they are facing. this study is a descriptive qualitative approach; this approach is expected to produce in-depth interviews and descriptions of speech, writing, and behavior that can be observed from an individual, group, society, and organizational unit of analysis. Next, according to the observed context, the data obtained is then recorded and analyzed. The results of this research are that students' critical thinking skills can develop, because the essential skills of thinking observed in this research are the ability to identify, analyze, solve problems, think logically, make appropriate decisions, are not easily provoked, and can draw conclusions carefully.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out which public universities offer Islamic religious education. This essay takes a qualitative approach to its analysis. Data were gathered using research techniques from libraries. Finding pertinent literary materials, including books, articles, and online publications, as well as scientific research, that address Islamic education in the digital era was the first step in the study. Additionally, the best sources of information were chosen for the research topic. The study's findings suggest that the following subjects are covered in Islamic Religious Education in Public Universities: The topics covered include Humans and Religion, Islamic Religion, Islamic Religion's Sources, Islamic Teachings' Basic Framework, Aqidah, Sharia, Worship, Mu'amalah, Morals, Piety, Knowledge in Islam, and Islamic Science Discipline. Islamic religious education is taught as a general foundations course in public universities, and it plays a vital role in the process of imparting knowledge as well as changing students' attitudes and behaviors.

Abstract

This study aims to address the challenges associated with learning Islamic religious education in the digital era, or Era 4.0. One of the main effects of this era has been the rise of online learning and e-learning, which has changed many aspects of life, including education, particularly Islamic religious education. The phenomenon of disruption had emerged in this century, forcing adaptation in the field of Islamic religious education. The study employs a qualitative research methodology using a phenomenological approach. Books, scientific articles, journals, and papers are the primary and secondary data sources. The discussion's conclusions demonstrate that Islamic religious education is currently dealing with issues, demands, and needs that have never been encountered before. Thus, it is imperative to implement updates and innovations to the infrastructure and facilities, human resource capabilities, curriculum, governance, culture, work ethic, and other areas. If not, Islamic religious education will become outdated and more and more out of date. Therefore, to use the term ilmu amali amal ilmi, specific actions or answers must be found.

Abstract

This study aims to a civilization that is already familiar with information and communication technology (ICT) is known as "society era 5.0." Students must develop a variety of abilities, such as critical thinking, creativity, inventiveness, teamwork, and communication. It is also necessary to strengthen character education, which tries to develop moral qualities (character) that set morals apart as a distinctive value. The method is a qualitative approach with a descriptive strategy to write this article. To do this, primary and secondary data are gathered, and descriptive analysis is performed to describe the facts as they appear both theoretically and empirically. Whereas primary and secondary data can be found in books, journals, articles, papers downloaded from the internet, online newspapers, and other source materials. The goal of this research is to identify the best approach for enhancing students' character education. This study also attempts to explain why character education is so important in the face of society 5.0. Descriptive qualitative methodology is applied, along with literature reviews. The study's findings demonstrate the value of character education in preparing pupils for the future. Information technology is used in character education to help students develop not only morality but also ICT proficiency and the ability to think creatively and innovatively in order to face today's society. 5.0.

Abstract

This study sought to ascertain how character education was applied in the development of students' overall personalities. Qualitative research was employed as the method. MTs Nibung Putih and SMPN 21 Sabak were the study's locations. The method in this study is a qualitative method of research. The principal, vice principals, homeroom instructors, and students in the two research locations were the main informants with whom the researchers conducted in-depth interviews to gather primary data for this study. Key informants, including the principal, vice principal, homeroom teacher, teachers, and students, were interviewed in-depth to gather data. The following procedures were used to examine the data: data reduction, data display, and conclusion/ verification drawing. The results lead to the following conclusions: (1) There are two ways for managing character education: internal and external schools; (2) Four pillars teaching and learning activities in the classroom, habituation activities, co-curricular activities, and extracurricular activities can be used to achieve internal school strategies. (3) Parent and community cooperation can be used to achieve external school strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of educational quality management in educational institutions, especially in Islamic education at Batam. The method used is qualitative, with literature studies from reference books, journals, and relevant archive documents. The data were analyzed descriptively-analytically with a critical approach. The results of the study indicate that educational quality management manages all educational resources to produce services that meet or exceed customer needs. The basic strategies needed include problem identification, application of quality philosophy, continuous improvement, and stakeholder involvement. In conclusion, educational quality management in Islamic institutions must be implemented comprehensively and integrated to achieve customer satisfaction and continuous performance improvement. Internal quality control systems play an important role in ensuring that results are in accordance with standards. This study offers quality management strategies that are relevant to the context of Islamic education in Indonesia, as well as a comprehensive management approach that involves all institutional aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the important role of educational management planning in Madrasah in achieving national education goals. The methodology used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, collecting data from references to books, journals, archives, and related documents. The results of the study indicate that educational management planning has a significant influence on the effectiveness of other management functions, such as organizing, motivating, and supervising. In conclusion, good planning allows educational institutions to direct strategic steps towards achieving long-term visions effectively and efficiently. The novelty of this study lies in the in-depth analysis of the application of educational philosophy in educational management planning in Madrasah, as well as its influence on the national education system. The recommendation from this study is the need to increase awareness among education stakeholders to adopt a more responsive and innovative planning model to face future educational challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic management of Islamic education through the process of formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The methodology used is qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the process of formulating strategies in Islamic education involves identifying clear visions, missions, and objectives, as well as analyzing the internal and external environment. Implementation of strategies is carried out through the preparation of work programs, allocating resources, and developing an appropriate curriculum. Monitoring and evaluation are carried out periodically to ensure the achievement of objectives and make improvements if necessary. This study concludes that effective strategic management in Islamic education requires careful planning, consistent implementation, and continuous evaluation. The recommendations given include: (1) strengthening the managerial capacity of Islamic education leaders, (2) increasing stakeholder participation in the planning and evaluation process, and (3) developing a management information system that supports appropriate decision making.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the platform in improving the quality of learning for students at the Al-Mujaddid Sabak Islamic Institute. This study seeks to understand how interactive features such as discussion forums, automatic quizzes, online assignments, and virtual classes can contribute to improving student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes. The methodology used is qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the process of implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) with interactive features has proven to be an effective solution in supporting flexible, collaborative, and more participatory learning. Features such as discussion forums, virtual classes, online assignments, and student progress analysis provide various benefits for the teaching and learning process, both for students and teachers. Recommendations for LMS with interactive features not only optimize online learning but also enrich the overall learning experience, making it an important platform in the world of modern education. Recommendations for optimizing interactive learning are to provide training to lecturers and students in using LMS, provide adequate internet access, and combine online learning with face-to-face learning that supports social interaction. Continued support from institutions in terms of infrastructure and training will be critical to ensure a more mature and comprehensive implementation in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of classroom management in increasing student participation and motivation at MI Darul Akhlak, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. This study observes how the implementation of good classroom management can create a conducive learning environment and encourage students to be more active in learning. The results of the study indicate that effective classroom management, including careful planning, flexible seating arrangements, the use of relevant learning media, and positive interactions between teachers and students, can increase student focus and involvement in the learning process. Some obstacles in the implementation of classroom management include low student awareness of learning responsibilities and the existence of disruptive extracurricular activities. In conclusion, good classroom management plays an important role in creating a conducive learning atmosphere and increasing student motivation. It is recommended that teachers maximize classroom management strategies and involve students in the learning process. Students are also expected to be able to increase awareness of the importance of active participation in teaching and learning activities.
