Abstract

This study examines the influence of business process digitization, product affordability, and social value on customer loyalty in the context of social entrepreneurship in Bandung, Indonesia. Social entrepreneurs operate not only for profit but also for societal benefit, making customer loyalty crucial for sustaining their dual missions. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 130 respondents who had interacted with social enterprises in Bandung. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) version 3. The results reveal that all three independent variables—business process digitization, product affordability, and social value—have significant and positive effects on customer loyalty. Among them, social value has the strongest influence, indicating that customers are more likely to remain loyal when they perceive their purchases as contributing to a broader social cause. The study concludes that a combination of technological integration, economic inclusiveness, and social mission clarity is essential for fostering customer loyalty in social enterprises.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Human Resource (HR) Policies, Intellectual Capital, and Social Risk on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Performance within the fintech industry. As ESG factors increasingly shape stakeholder expectations and regulatory frameworks, fintech companies must adopt sustainable practices not only through technology but also through strategic human and intellectual resource management. Using a quantitative approach with data analyzed via Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), the findings demonstrate that all three variables—HR Policies, Intellectual Capital, and Social Risk—positively and significantly affect ESG Performance. HR Policies emerged as the most influential factor, followed by Social Risk and Intellectual Capital. The model also shows strong explanatory and predictive relevance. These results highlight the crucial role of human capital development and risk mitigation in driving sustainability efforts in fintech firms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of social cognition in the case of public deception committed by Ratna Sarumpaet in 2018. Using a qualitative case study approach and a social cognition theoretical framework, this study examines how the public forms perceptions, makes social attributions, and how cognitive schemas and biases play a role in responding to narratives presented by public actors. The analysis reveals that public acceptance of false narratives is significantly influenced by existing social schemas, confirmation bias, representative heuristics, and social identity factors. This case underscores the importance of understanding social cognition processes in the digital age, where information spreads rapidly and perceptions are shaped within social interaction spaces saturated with emotions and ideological interests. This study recommends strengthening media literacy and developing critical awareness as preventive measures against disinformation and public opinion manipulation.

Abstract

Learning for Generation Z (Gen-Z) students in college today will not be optimal if it is only in mastering theory, but also in developing practical skills that are applicable, where Generation Z students who are thick with their characteristics of mastering IT will certainly only be enthusiastic in learning that involves IT and Social Media. Today's Gen-Z students are those who when they graduate will face social life and work that are certainly more challenging, so students need to be equipped with various IT skills that can support their lives and careers after graduating from college. One solution to the problem in developing practical skills for Gen-Z students in the context of the Marketing Management course, Gen-Z students are required to understand not only theoretical marketing concepts, but also be able to apply marketing concepts using various IT platforms and social media to be applied in designing, preparing and marketing various products and displaying them in real activities. One solution to the problem of developing skills is exploring students' experiences in applying Kolb's experimental learning method to marketing material in the Marketing Management course. This method consists of four stages of the learning cycle: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of reflective interviews with 2A semester students of the Economics Education Study Program at Al-Washliyah Muslim Nusantara University. The results of the study showed that students experienced an active, contextual, and meaningful learning process. They marketed products such as fruit salad, balado spring rolls, donuts, spring rolls, and firecracker meatballs using direct marketing strategies and social media. Students identified challenges such as time constraints, market competition, and product technical constraints, but they overcame these through teamwork, time management, and quality improvement. This experience fostered self-confidence, creativity, and an interest in entrepreneurship. Students stated that this learning experience was more effective and beneficial than conventional theoretical learning.

Abstract

Social media has emerged as a key source of travel information, with content created by users often regarded as more trustworthy than that provided by official tourism organizations. Given that young people make up the majority of social media users, this trend has transformed tourist behavior, where travelers not only visit destinations but also document and share their experiences. Gaining a deeper understanding of this dynamic offers valuable insights for the tourism sector to develop effective marketing strategies and improve interaction with travelers. This research investigates how sharing travel experiences on social media influences the intention to visit a destination, focusing specifically on youth travelers. Using incidental sampling, the study targeted domestic tourists. Through a quantitative method employing regression analysis, five main factors influencing this behavior were identified. The results also demonstrate a positive and significant correlation between travel experience sharing and tourists’ travel intention, with travel experience sharing accounting for 41.7 percent of the variation in travel intention, while the remaining 58.3 percent is attributed to other factors beyond the scope of this study.
