Abstract

The dynamics of drug addiction prevention and treatment initiatives in East Java, Indonesia's metropolitan neighborhoods are examined in this study. The study uses structural equation modeling to examine the connections between economic circumstances, social support, health service accessibility, and efforts for drug misuse prevention and treatment, utilizing a sample of 140 people. Strong validity and reliability are demonstrated by the measurement methodology, confirming the effectiveness of the chosen indicators. The results of the structural model demonstrate complex relationships: social support emerges as a key component, although economic variables and health services show favorable links. The study's recommendations for multimodal interventions that tackle economic inequality, improve healthcare accessibility, and bolster community-based initiatives have consequences for both policy and practice. Despite its limitations, this study provides important new understandings of the intricate field of drug misuse intervention treatments and paves the way for more research.

Abstract

This article explores the dynamic landscape of entrepreneurship education in higher education, focusing on the context of Industry 4.0 and the emergence of Society 5.0. Emphasizing the collaboration between people and technology, this research investigates how universities, particularly in Indonesia, are responding to the need for entrepreneurial skills among students. A descriptive research method with a Secondary Data Analysis (SDA) approach, this research studies existing literature and journals to provide a comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship curriculum development. The results highlight the diverse definitions of curriculum and entrepreneurship, leading to a discussion of the foundations and principles that underpin effective entrepreneurship curriculum design. In conclusion, the critical role of entrepreneurship in preparing students for the ever-evolving job market, fostering creativity, innovation and essential entrepreneurial skills.

Abstract

Digitalization is a major factor in the rapid dissemination of information, especially in the financial world. This has an impact on the emergence of various financial behaviors that can affect Investor Decision Making in investing. Financial behavior is a key factor that can affect the quality of Investor Decision Making, which is characterized by achieving optimal results and avoiding biased decisions. Effective financial behaviors are very important and should not be taken lightly. As an investor, adopting appropriate financial behaviors is key to overcoming behavioral biases associated with Investor Decision Making. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current state of behavioral finance research with a focus on the significant factors that influence Investor Decision Making. Driven by the need to create a comprehensive literature on peer pressure, this study used a bibliometric approach by identifying 92 studies using the term "behavioral finance" from the Scopus database. The most frequently reviewed articles were analyzed to highlight key contributions and provide general information about the field. All mentioned information covers several aspects, such as the relationship between investors, fund managers, the investment industry, and the significant influence of behavioral finance on Investor Decision Making. The practical implications of this study have the potential to be a valuable reference for researchers and practitioners, assisting in the development of clear and concise conclusions with relevant context. Investors should be encouraged to integrate their internal processes with the results of bibliometric analysis. This research emphasizes the importance of behavioral finance in Investor Decision Making, provides insight into the current state of research, and the role of researchers in developing a critical understanding of Investor Decision Making.

Abstract

This research analyzes the implementation of labor maintenance at PT Bank Sinarmas Sumedang Branch, focusing on the methods of welfare, incentives, and work environment. Welfare methods include BPJS programs, self-insurance, annual bonuses, and allowances for gasoline and vehicle servicing. In addition, incentives in the form of money and promotions are given to employees who achieve good performance. A positive and efficient work environment is also a concern, with adequate facilities, work stress management, good communication, and annual outings. This research highlights the importance of implementing workforce maintenance methods in improving employee welfare and motivation, which in turn can improve productivity and work quality.

Abstract

The land is a fundamental component of Bhutan's geographical makeup, characterized by natural features and human activities. Bhutan's land can be divided into land use and land cover (LULC), where human activities contribute to land use, and natural elements define land cover. This paper analyzes Bhutan's LULC patterns, emphasizing the evolving trends in major LULC types, strengths and challenges of sustainable land use management, and envisioning its future trajectory. In recent years, Bhutan's land-use pattern has displayed a predominant forest cover, encompassing a significant portion of the total land area. Similarly, the built-up area in Bhutan is gradually increasing, reflecting the country's ongoing urbanization and development activities. A long-term analysis reveals dynamic shifts in agricultural land in Bhutan. While there has been a historical expansion of agricultural areas, recent trends may suggest a potential slowdown or decline, influenced by factors such as urban growth and changing economic landscapes. Like community forestry practices in Bhutan, successful conservation efforts may also influence land-use changes. In the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan faces challenges related to snow/glacial cover impacted by climate change. Increasing temperatures in the region contribute to alterations in snow/glacial patterns, necessitating a focus on environmental conservation and sustainable practices to preserve these vital resources. The land tenure system and land use policies in Bhutan have evolved and been shaped by socioeconomic and political dynamics. Bhutan needs to adapt and formulate effective policies to address contemporary challenges and promote sustainable LULC management. Implementing specific LULC zones, as outlined in Bhutan's land use policies, is crucial for ensuring sustainable land management practices.

Abstract

In this study, structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to conduct a quantitative analysis aimed at determining the factors that influence the sustainability of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The four main themes of the study are market orientation, regulatory compliance, human resource development, and credit availability. Following a survey of 200 MSMEs, the collected data underwent thorough statistical analysis. The findings show a strong positive correlation between regulatory compliance and MSME sustainability, human resource development, and loan availability. Although it had a beneficial effect, market orientation fell short of statistical significance in this investigation. The study adds to our knowledge of the intricate processes affecting MSMEs' sustainability in the Indonesian environment and provides insightful information to scholars, policymakers, and entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This research explores the historicity of Muhammadiyah, exploring the ideas of its founding, its historical context, and its impact on Indonesian society. Through a systematic literature review and thematic analysis, this research reveals the basic ideas articulated by Ahmad Dahlan, the founder of Muhammadiyah, by highlighting the theological principles of tajdid and ijtihad. The historical context section examines the emergence of this movement in the socio-political landscape of the early 20th century in Indonesia, emphasizing the impact of Dutch colonial rule and its relationship with global Islamic reformist movements. This research then assesses Muhammadiyah's impact on Indonesian society, including education, social welfare initiatives, and its broader influence in shaping modern Indonesian Islam. Thematic analysis of scientific works shows Muhammadiyah's role in providing holistic education, encouraging intellectual independence, and overcoming social challenges through social welfare programs. The influence of this movement in shaping progressive interpretations of Islam in cultural and societal discourse is also explored. The synthesis of findings underscores the interconnected nature of Muhammadiyah's basic ideas, historical context, and social impact. This movement emerged as a transformative force, dynamically responding to local and global challenges while remaining rooted in its basic principles. This research contributes to scholarly understanding of Islamic reform movements and provides insight into the complex interactions between theological ideals and societal transformation.

Abstract

This research highlights the management of the Kedung Gede Lenteng Agung Tourism Village as an effort to empower local communities in the Ciliwung area, with a focus on success factors. This research aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the contribution of tourist villages in community empowerment. The urgency of the research lies in understanding how the management of the Kedung Gede Lenteng Agung Tourism Village has become an instrument for local community empowerment which has the potential to impact the local economy, preserve culture and improve welfare in the Ciliwung area. The research location is in the Kedung Gede Lenteng Agung Tourism Village, South Jakarta, as a specific context that is relevant for understanding community empowerment efforts through tourism villages. The research method uses descriptive qualitative, allowing in-depth analysis of tourism village management and its success factors. Primary data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation, while secondary data came from literature studies which included books, journals and internet sources related to the research topic. The research results show that active community participation has a central role in the successful management of tourist villages as an effort to empower communities in the Ciliwung area.

Abstract

This bibliometric study delves into the extensive literature on risk and protective factors for mental health in the modern era, considering the complexities posed by technological advancements, socio-cultural shifts, and globalization. Utilizing bibliometric analysis, we identify clusters of literature, analyze trends over time, and explore potential research avenues. The network visualization reveals six distinct clusters, each representing thematic discussions related to mental health. Trend analysis highlights the evolution of research focus from early concerns to contemporary issues, with COVID-19 emerging as a prominent theme. Density analysis identifies research gaps and potential future topics. The collaboration network among authors suggests opportunities for interdisciplinary research. This analysis offers valuable insights for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to inform evidence-based strategies for navigating the intricate landscape of mental health in the modern era.

Abstract

This bibliometric analysis delves into the extensive literature exploring the intricate relationship between families, educational strategies, racism, and discrimination. Utilizing databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science, the study systematically identifies 860 relevant papers published between 1976 and 2023. Through a structured search strategy and the application of bibliometric tools like VOSviewer, the analysis maps the intellectual structure, key themes, and research trends. The identified clusters, including themes like racial discrimination, socialization, and adolescent development, reveal the dynamic evolution of research in this field. High citation counts for influential literature, such as "American apartheid: segregation and the making of the underclass," and "Whose culture has capital? A critical race theory discussion of community cultural wealth," emphasize the lasting impact of seminal works. The study contributes to evidence-based policymaking, providing insights for addressing societal issues and guiding future research aimed at fostering a more inclusive and equitable society.
