Abstract

Independence can make children responsible for meeting their needs and foster self-confidence. Children who have independence can adapt to the environment and make children able to learn to overcome the difficulties they face. The independence of early childhood depends on the parenting applied in the family, especially the mother. Even though the mother has a job status, it is expected that the mother can have the expertise to fulfill her obligations as a housewife. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in children's independence in working and non-working mothers in Mutiara Kindergarten, Pilohayanga Village, Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency. This study used a quantitative method. The sample in this study amounted to 45 students. The sampling technique used was random cluster sampling. This study's results show a value of 229. The value is more significant than 0.05, and the calculated f value is 1.487. It is concluded that there is a difference between the level of independence of preschool children in working and non-working mothers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and adjustment in Papuan overseas students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire in the form of a peer social support scale and a self-adjustment scale. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling with a total sample of 23 respondents. Data analysis uses a product-moment correlation of 0.040 with a p-value <0.05, meaning that there is a positive and significant relationship between peer social support and adjustment to Papuan students, this shows that the higher the peer social support, the higher the adjustment and vice versa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and the intensity of playing online games in SMP Negeri 1 Talaga Jaya students who play online games. The research is a quantitative research with a research population of 59 students. The research subjects were determined based on the subject criteria set by the researcher, namely, students at SMP Negeri 1 Talaga Jaya who played online games with a duration of playing games more than 3 hours per day. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique where a researcher determines the subject with several criteria. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The analysis used in this research is product moment correlation. The results of the hypothesis test obtained are the correlation coefficient r = -0.256 with a significance (p) = 0.050 (p<0.05) Means Ha is accepted, therefore can be concluded there is a negative relationship between emotional intelligence and online game addiction in SMP Negeri 1 Talaga students. Jaya. The higher the emotional intelligence, the lower the intensity of playing online games, and conversely the lower the emotional intelligence, the higher the intensity of playing online games, even though the degree of relationship between the two variables is relatively weak

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Optimisme terhadap Adversity Quotient pada Mahasiswa Mahasiswa yang Bekerja di Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Dengan pendekatan desain penelitan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik Simple rando sampling dengan sampel penelitian 70 Mahasiswa sambil bekerja. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Optimisme dan Adversity Quotient dan metode penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh Optimisme terhadap Adversity Quotient dengan nilai thitung ≥ ttabel (3,149 ≥ 1,670) dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002 ≤ 0,05 hal ini dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Optimisme terhadap Adversity Quotient.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the connection between burnout from work stress and social support. The nurses at the ICU and emergency room at Dr. Hasri Ainun Habibie. This study takes a quantitative approach and employs a correlational study design. Total sampling was used to collect the samples. There were 40 responders, 24 of whom were ER nurses and 16 of whom were ICU nurses. This study used the multiple correlation approach. According to the study's findings, there is a significant negative relationship between social support and burnout (correlation coefficient value = -73.1%), a positive and significant relationship between job stress and burnout (correlation coefficient value = 41.4%), and a relationship between social support and job stress with burnout (correlation coefficient value = 46.4%). The ER and ICU nurses at Dr. Hasri Ainun Habibie report a jointly significant association between social support and job stress burnout, as indicated by the coefficient of determination value (R square) of 53.5%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengamati perkembangan penelitian mengenai fraud pada mahasiswa serta melihat peluang penelitian di masa mendatang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis bibliometrik, analisis data dalam peneliian ini memanfaatkan aplikasi VosViewer sedangkan sumber data yang digunakan adalah Google Scholar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada tahun 2023 terdapat 18 publikasi artikel dan merupakan tahun dengan publikasi terbanyak. Penelitian terpublikasi mengenai kecurangan (fraud) yang sudah banyak dilakukan sebelumnya ada pada topik akademik serta gambaran faktor pemicu munculnya kecurangan (fraud)seperti rasionalisasi, kesempatan dan tekanan. Area yang menjadi peluang untuk diteliti lebih lanjut terkait fraud pada mahasiswa adalah laporan keuangan dan religiosity. Kata Kunci : Analisis Bibliometrik, Fraud, Kecurangan, Mahasiswa

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to deal with stress coping strategies for parents who have children with autism at the Autism Service Center of Gorontalo Province. This research design uses qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The respondents were parents who had children with autism at the Gorontalo Autism Service Center, there are 4 parents. The findings showed children's tantrums often require parents to be patient, calm and always restrain themselves therefore as not to vent their emotions on their autistic children. It can be concluded the coping strategies for parents who have children with autism is explain 5 aspects, namely social support, positive interpretation, acceptance, rejection and religious aspects. The four respondents were selected based on research characteristics determined by the researcher

Abstract

Perubahan pada lansia menyebabkan menurunkan fungsi fisik dan psikis. Menurunnya fungsi fisik dan psikis ini berdampak kepada penerimaan diri dan tingkat kesejahteraan yang dialami oleh lansia. Adapun penerimaan diri menjadi salah satu faktor pendukung tercapainya subjective well-being pada lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penerimaan diri dengan subjective well-being pada lansia di UPT PSTW Jember. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian menggunakan sampling jenuh, responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian yaitu 50 lansia dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan yang tinggal di UPT PSTW Jember. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Skala Penerimaan Diri, Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) dan The scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) untuk mengukur subjective Well-being. Analisa data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh nilai pearson correlation (r) sebesar 0.053 dengan taraf signifikan (p) sebesar 0.715 (p<0.05), maka dinyatakan tidak ada hubungan antara penerimaan diri dan subjective well-being

Abstract

This research examines the influence of traditional games on children's social interactions at Al-Mutakkin TPA. Traditional games, such as Domikado and Snakes and Ladders, are used as a means to strengthen children's social relationships. With an experimental research design and data collection methods through participant observation, this research involved children aged 6-12 years as subjects. The research results show that traditional games can improve children's social interaction skills, such as cooperation, communication and empathy. These findings underline the importance of preserving traditional games as an educational tool in supporting children's social development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and subjective well-being in madrasah Aliyah teenagers who live in the Al-Islami Islamic boarding school in Gorontalo district. This research is a form of quantitative research with a sampling technique using simple random sampling technique and the sample in this research was 60 students. Data were collected using a self-esteem scale and a subjective well-being scale and analyzed using the pearson product moment correlation the results of the research show that there is a relationship between self- esteem and subjective well-being in students with a correlation coefficient value of 0.698 with a significant relationship between self-esteem and subjective well-being among madrasah Aliyah teenagers who live in the Al-Islam Islamic boarding school Gorontalo Regency.
