Abstract

Digital transformation in the financial sector has become a major driver of operational efficiency, transparency, and accelerated decision-making across various industries. At the same time, global demands for the implementation of a green economy are pushing the transportation sector to shift to environmentally friendly business models that require fast and accountable financing support. This study aims to develop a conceptual model that links digital financial management with the acceleration of the green economy transition in the transportation sector. This study uses a qualitative approach based on literature review with theoretical analysis of Scopus-indexed international journals from 2015 to 2024. The results show that digital finance serves as a strategic catalyst for improving efficiency, sustainability reporting, and financing green transportation projects, thereby forming the basis of a digital financial management model for green economic transition.

Abstract

Corrosion is a serious problem that can reduce the service life of materials, increase maintenance costs, and reduce the safety level of various construction systems. On the other hand, Indonesia still faces challenges in managing organic waste such as cucumber peels and tea powder that have not been optimally utilized. This research offers an innovative idea in the form of EcoGuard, an anti-corrosion paint based on active extracts from cucumber peel and tea powder waste as an environmentally friendly coating material. The method used is a literature study through searching various scientific publications related to the characteristics of active compounds in cucumber peel and tea powder waste, coating paint formulation, and corrosion resistance testing on metal materials. The results of the literature review show that the antioxidant content, polyphenols, and other organic compounds inboth wastes have the potential to act as natural corrosion inhibitors.  This potential utilization is expected to slow down the corrosion rate by tens of percent compared to conventional coatings based on chemicals or heavy metals. This innovation contributes to improving material maintenance efficiency while presenting an environmentally friendly waste-to-product approach. As such, EcoGuard has the potential to become a sustainable coating technologysupporting the achievement of SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), SDG 12(Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Abstract

Shrimp is one of the main commodities in the global fisheries trade. As the value and volume of shrimp trade continues to increase, factors that shape the competitiveness of shrimp trade should contribute to a sustainable economy. This study will use the SEM (Structural Equation Model) test method to examine the effect of shrimp export competitiveness on the sustainable economies of countries. Additional analysis will also involve cluster analysis (K-Mean Cluster or Hierarchical Cluster) to map countries according to the IDSEU index and their sustainable economic performance. The results of the study show that the variables of state and business governance have a high value in influencing sustainable economic variables. The test results also show that countries that are major players in global shrimp trade have high competitiveness but show low sustainable economic performance. Therefore, the role of the government is very necessary, not only to support competitiveness improvement aimed at increasing exports but also to continue to adhere to the principles of sustainable economics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of artificial intelligence technology and influencer marketing in affiliate marketing on buying interest of Generation Z. This study uses a quantitative associative causal approach with a purposive sampling technique, a sample of 100 respondents, the population in this study is Generation Z in Bojonegoro City who actively shop online through affiliate marketing and are influenced by AI and Influencer technology. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire compiled using a five-value likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM method using SmartPLS 3 software. The results showed that influencer marketing had a significant effect on affiliate marketing and buying interest, while the use of AI did not show a significant effect on affiliate marketing or buying interest directly. Affiliate marketing also had no significant effect on buying interest as an intervening variable. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of influencers in increasing buying interest of Generation Z.

Abstract

Marine debris has become a critical environmental challenge in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), driven by land-based waste leakage, rapid tourism growth, and inadequate waste management infrastructure. This study identifies the dominant types, sources, and impacts of coastal waste in DIY and offers policy recommendations for sustainable coastal management. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on literature review and secondary environmental data, the study finds that plastic-based macro and meso debris dominate coastal waste composition, posing significant ecological threats, including habitat degradation and marine species mortality. The accumulation of waste also causes socioeconomic losses through decreased fishery productivity, reduced tourism attractiveness, and increased coastal clean-up costs. This research underscores the need for integrated waste governance, community participation, behavioral change interventions, circular economy approaches, and strengthened institutional coordination. These measures are essential to ensure the long-term sustainability of Yogyakarta’s coastal ecosystems.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method on the Shopee e-commerce platform, particularly in cosmetic product transactions within the regencies of Banjarnegara, Batang, and Wonosobo in Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research explores how COD is applied operationally, identifies its strengths and weaknesses, analyzes consumer perceptions, and investigates the resulting implications for sellers and couriers. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with twelve informants consisting of six consumers, two sellers, and four couriers directly involved in COD transactions for cosmetic products. Data analysis adopted the interactive model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014), including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that COD plays an essential role in increasing transaction accessibility for consumers lacking digital financial infrastructure, while also fostering trust and reducing perceived risks in online shopping. However, COD presents significant operational challenges for sellers and couriers, including increased risks of unilateral cancellations, product returns, and logistical inefficiencies. The study concludes that while COD serves as a crucial payment alternative for consumers in non-urban regions, it requires enhanced regulatory frameworks, seller protection mechanisms, and courier support systems to ensure sustainable e-commerce operations. This research contributes novel insights by presenting a multi-stakeholder qualitative evaluation, focusing on the high-risk cosmetic product category, and analyzing COD in regions with low digital financial penetration. This study addresses three visible gaps in the literature. First, this study incorporates the viewpoints of consumers, sellers, and couriers using a qualitative approach. Second, this study is focuses on cosmetic products. Third, limited attention has been given to COD implementation in non-urban contexts with low digital payment adoption rates.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of price on customer loyalty through the perception of product sustainability in the bottled mineral water industry in Yogyakarta. The price factor is crucial in shaping the perception of value and sustainability, which further influences consumer loyalty. Based on stimulus-reaction (S-O-R) theory, price serves as a stimulus that influences customers' internal perceptions of sustainability, thereby motivating them to remain loyal to a particular brand. The study used a quantitative methodology with data collected through questionnaires from mineral water customers in the region. The results of the analysis show that price has a positive and significant effect on the perception of product sustainability and customer loyalty. In addition, the perception of sustainability acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between price and loyalty. These findings underscore the importance of pricing strategies supported by transparent communication about sustainability to increase customer loyalty. Nonetheless, the results also show that the perception of sustainability does not necessarily guarantee loyalty if other factors such as quality and price perception are not supportive. The limitations of the study include contextual factors and moderation variables that have not been fully explored. Future research is suggested to review other variables, use a longitudinal approach, and engage a variety of industries to strengthen the generalization and applicability of results. These findings contribute to businesses in designing effective and sustainable sustainability-based marketing strategies.
