Abstract

The management of non-standard assets, such as used instruments requiring 'refurbish' or 'destroy' evaluation, presents significant complexity for modern warehouse operations, often lacking the integrated, real-time monitoring systems necessary for timely strategic decision-making. This study addresses this problem by developing and evaluating an agile, cost-effective Warehouse Management System (WMS) framework based on the Google Workspace ecosystem (Google Sheets, Apps Script, Looker Studio). The primary objective is to evaluate the system's effectiveness and to describe the influence of key Information System quality factors—Data Transparency, System Integration, and Real-time Monitoring on Warehouse Performance in a real-world case. This research employed a descriptive case study approach with a total sampling technique involving 100% of the warehouse unit personnel (N=3) at PT Roche Indonesia, alongside an analysis of historical records (110 records from 2023–2024). The study utilizes a comparative analysis between the legacy spreadsheet method and the proposed automated framework. The system's low-code integration, powered by Google Apps Script, proved highly functional in ensuring data consistency. Quantitative results from the user perception survey revealed a high level of satisfaction with an overall average score of 4.82 out of 5.00. Specifically, the system achieved perfect scores in Warehouse Performance (Mean=5.00), followed by strong results in Data Transparency (Mean=4.89) and System Integration (Mean=4.89), while Real-time Monitoring scored 4.67. Furthermore, the implementation successfully eliminated data redundancy (0% duplication rate) compared to the manual legacy system. These findings confirm that the low-code framework significantly enhances operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This research contributes to the literature by demonstrating the viability and high impact of a low-cost, low-code WMS framework for complex reverse logistics environments.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Green Manufacturing, Green Advertising and Environmental performance as measured by PROPER ratings on Corporate Sustainability as measured by the spread of Sustainability Report as measured by the GRI standard. In this study using secondary data, the population in the study were 125 companies which were manufacturing companies and the sample in this study using purposive sampling method there were 50 samples of company data that met the sample criteria obtained using certain criteria in PROPER participating companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2023 period. The statistical method used in this research is panel data regression analysis, using the Eviews 13 measuring tool. The results in this study indicate that green manufacturing has a positive and significant effect on corporate sustainability, and environmental performance have a positive and insignificant effect on corporate sustainability. Meanwhile, green advertising has a negative and insignificant effect on company sustainability. The difference is that previous researchers used the Green Accounting variable, while this study uses the Green Manufacturing variable on Corporate Sustainability and this study using a dummy variable proxy for companies that disclose environmentally friendly production systems. The three factors jointly influence corporate sustainability, indicating that a holistic approach that includes various green aspects is more effective in encouraging corporate sustainability. Therefore, managers need to adopt a holistic sustainability strategy, ensuring good integration between various green aspects to achieve better sustainability and increase consumer confidence.

Abstract

Energy costs and sustainability pressures have encouraged retail businesses to adopt technologies that optimize electricity usage without reducing customer comfort. Internet of Things (IoT) enables real-time monitoring and control of electrical devices through sensors and network connectivity, offering new opportunities for energy management in retail stores. This paper aims to analyze the potential utilization of IoT for energy efficiency in small and medium retail businesses by discussing the conceptual design, implementation scenarios, and indicative benefits. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach based on literature review and scenario modeling for typical energy uses in retail, namely lighting, air conditioning, and main electrical equipment. The proposed IoT architecture consists of three layers: device layer (sensors and actuators), network and gateway layer, and application and analytics layer. Implementation scenarios include presence-based lighting control, schedule and temperature-based air conditioning control, and smart load monitoring to detect anomalies. A simple comparative illustration between conventional and IoT-enabled operations indicates that automation and data-driven control can reduce operating hours of selected devices, which translates into potential savings in kWh and electricity costs, while also supporting green business objectives. The findings provide a conceptual and practical reference for retail business owners, SME development programs, and technology providers to design digital green innovation initiatives in the retail sector.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the landscape of environmental communication, where social media has become an important instrument in shaping people's ecological awareness. This study explores the effectiveness of digital content marketing campaigns in encouraging environmental awareness and green consumption behavior in Indonesia. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a content analysis method on digital campaigns conducted by environmental organizations such as Greenpeace Indonesia, Zero Waste Indonesia, as well as various local eco-friendly brands on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube platforms for the period January 2023 to December 2024. The findings show that content strategies that integrate educational, emotional, and actionable approaches result in significant audience engagement rates, with short video content achieving an engagement rate of 8-12%. Campaigns that successfully build emotional connections and provide practical solutions have proven to be more effective in turning awareness into sustainable consumption actions. Ecological and environmental awareness plays an important role as an important mediator in the adoption of green practices. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the development of sustainable digital marketing literature and practically serves as a guide for practitioners in designing more effective digital campaigns to drive the transformation of consumer behavior towards sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of ESG Risk and profitability on Financial Risk, in addition, this study also wants to test the role of profitability in moderating the influence of ESG Risk on the Financial Risk of companies on the IDX.  This study uses panel data from 57 non-financial companies with ESG scores from 2023 to 2024. ESG risk is measured using the ESG score, profitability using ROA, and financial risk using the inverse of the Bathory Metrics Model (BMM). The study also uses leverage, firm size, and sales growth as control variables. The analysis tool used is Eviews with the Fixed Effects Model (FEM). The research results show that ESG Risk has a negative effect on Financial Risk. This is because companies incur significant short-term costs to meet sustainability requirements in the ESG score assessment, leading to debt financing, which increases financial risk, consistent with the finding that leverage has a positive effect on financial risk. The research also shows that Profitability has no significant effect on Financial Risk and is unable to moderate the effect of ESG Risk on Financial Risk. The use of ESG Scores as a measure of ESG risk is not yet widely practiced in Indonesia, as only a few companies have registered to have their ESG scores assessed. This study also demonstrates a unique finding: higher ESG risk actually leads to lower financial risk, contrasting with much previous literature.

Abstract

The increasing number of workplace accidents and declining performance levels in the technician division of transportation service companies, as evidenced by reduced task completion responsibility, insufficient adherence to operational procedures and work discipline, and inconsistent utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE). This condition is reinforced by inadequate implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, which has the potential to compromise employee productivity and overall work performance. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the influence of OHS on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through work discipline as a mediating variable. This study applies a quantitative approach with a survey method, utilizing proportionate stratified random sampling, involving 169 technician employees selected based on the Krejcie and Morgan sample size determination table. Data were obtained through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with the SmartPLS 3.2.9 application. The research findings demonstrate that OHS exerts a positive and significant effect on employee performance, OHS has a positive and significant effect on work discipline, and work discipline positively and significantly influences employee performance. Additionally, the results confirm that work discipline functions as a mediating variable in the relationship between OHS and employee performance. These empirical findings substantiate the importance of effective OHS implementation in fostering a safe and conducive work environment, strengthening employee discipline, and enhancing productivity and performance outcomes. This research provides theoretical contributions by reinforcing empirical literature on the mediating role of discipline within workplace safety contexts, and practical contributions by offering strategic recommendations for organizations in optimizing OHS policies, reinforcing disciplinary mechanisms, and improving employee performance management.

Abstract

This study examines the application of eco-innovation in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of seafood in coastal areas as a sustainable processing strategy integrated with information technology to encourage a circular economy. This sector has great potential in supporting the economic welfare of coastal communities, but faces challenges in the form of technological limitations, inefficiency of production processes, and low added value of products due to traditional processing practices. The purpose of this research is to analyze how the application of environmentally friendly innovation and digital transformation can improve business efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability in the context of the circular economy. The research approach used is quantitative with a case study strategy on seafood processing MSMEs, using primary data obtained through questionnaires and analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results show that the adoption rate of eco-innovation is positively correlated with increased raw material efficiency, reduction of production waste, and improvement of product quality. Information technology integration, especially in supply chains and digital marketing, plays a catalyst in accelerating the implementation of sustainable innovation and expanding market access. This research provides a theoretical contribution to the development of a digital-based eco-innovation model in the maritime sector as well as a practical contribution to strengthening policies and strategies for empowering coastal MSMEs to realize an inclusive and sustainable circular economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mechanism of the influence of Electronic Word-of-Mouth (E-WOM) on GoFood service Purchase Decisions, by testing the dual mediating role of Brand Image and Brand Trust. Motivated by the inconsistency of previous research findings and the phenomenon of declining GoFood GMV amidst intense competition, this study uses a quantitative causal associative approach. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire from 154 GoFood users in Solo Raya, an area with a relevant young digital population, using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with a bootstrapping procedure of 5,000 samples. The main results reject the hypothesis of a direct influence of E-WOM on Purchase Decisions (H5). Conversely, E-WOM is proven to have a positive and significant influence on Brand Image (H2) and Brand Trust (H1). These two mediator variables are then proven to be positive and significant drivers of Purchase Decisions (H3 and H4 are supported). The central finding of this study is the confirmation of full mediation, where Brand Image (H7) and Brand Trust (H6) fully mediate the relationship between E-WOM and Purchase Decision. This finding strongly supports the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theoretical framework; E-WOM (Stimulus) does not directly trigger a Response (Purchase), but must first be processed to build cognitive and affective assets (Organism).
