Abstract

This research began with observations in Class IV in the History of Islamic Culture subject, where it was found that the teacher's voice was difficult to hear, the teacher often left the classroom to chat and often played with gadgets during the lesson. This causes students to lose motivation. This research aims to determine teachers' teaching styles and students' learning motivation and the relationship between the two. Teaching style indicators include voice variations, the concentration of attention, silence, gaze contact, body movements, teaching positions, behavior, and habits. Indicators of learning motivation include the desire to succeed, encouragement in learning, hopes and aspirations, appreciation for learning, interesting activities, and a conducive learning environment. The research hypothesis is that there is a significant relationship between teaching style and learning motivation. The research method uses a quantitative approach with correlation techniques, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Questionnaires were distributed to 61 respondents in Class IV-A and IV-B. Data analysis techniques include normality, homogeneity, linearity, and correlation tests, with validity and reliability tested first. The research results show that the data is normally distributed, homogeneous, and linear. The teacher's teaching style and student learning motivation are both in the perfect category. The relationship between teacher teaching style and student learning motivation shows a positive result of 0.333, although in the low category

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low creative thinking skills of students in the science subject. An alternative to improving students' low creative thinking skills is by implementing the 3CM (Cool, Critical, Creative, Meaningful) learning model. This study aims to determine the difference in the average increase in creative thinking skills of fifth-grade students in science subjects using the 3CM (Cool, Critical, Creative, Meaningful) learning model compared to students using the problem-based learning model. The population of this research includes all fifth-grade students at MIN 2 Kota Bandung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The samples taken are class V-A and class V-B. The data collection techniques used are tests and observations. Data analysis techniques include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent t-tests. The independent t-test results on the N-gain data showed a significance value of 0.003, indicating a difference in the average increase in creative thinking skills in science subjects. The 3CM learning model has a learning syntax that includes: providing motivation, interpreting contextual problems, criticizing contextual issues, resolving conflicts, converting concepts into creative products, confirming creative products, and reflecting meaningfully.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character education of discipline in grade V students of SDN 02 Laladon Bogor in the digital era. The digital era has a significant impact on the development of character education, especially discipline. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that character education of discipline in grade V students of SDN 02 Laladon Bogor faces challenges and opportunities in the digital era. Factors such as the use of technology, parenting patterns, and school environment influence the formation of students' disciplined character. These findings provide insight into the efforts that need to be made in improving character education of discipline in the digital era, including the development of relevant learning methods and the active role of parents in supporting character education at home. This study is expected to contribute to increasing understanding and awareness of the importance of character education of discipline in changing times. The practical implications of this study can be used as a guideline for educators, parents, and related parties in designing effective strategies to develop discipline in grade V students in the digital era.

Abstract

In connection with the introduction of factors that influence the level of learningsuccess, It is essential to do this to help students achieve learning outcomes thebest. This time the researchers used the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) Test. score,where the results show that it produces an average N-gain score of 0.56, Basedon the criteria table above, it can be interpreted as 0.56 In this case, it can be saidthat there has been a high and effective improvement regarding the method ortreatment In this research, there was an increase in learning outcomes for students.Results The calculation of the significance test that has been obtained shows thatthe t count obtained amounts to 2,360 with a significance value of 0.009. t tablevalue from the study with many samples or N= 25 then you can calculate thedegree of freedom (df) which is equal to 23. With a level of 0.05 then thesignificance table value is 1.714. From the calculation results that have beenobtained, it shows that t calculate 2,360 > t table value of 1,714 and significancevalue of 0.009 < 0.05, then ????o is rejected, with It can be concluded that there is asignificant influence between learning motivation and the results students studyat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Hidayatul Atfhal, Jonggol. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the cooperative learning method supported by the Think Pair Share (TPS) strategy in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts, particularly at SDN Karangtanjung 2, with a population of all students at the school and a sample of 26 students from class V. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and non-random sampling technique. The instruments used are subjective tests that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis prerequisite tests include descriptive statistics to provide an overview of the mathematics learning outcomes at each school, with mean and standard deviation values. The results of the study show a significant increase in the average score of students from 53.23 (pretest) to 74.27 (posttest), with a decrease in standard deviation, indicating improved homogeneity of results. The normality test shows that the data are normally distributed, while the paired sample t-test results (Sig. = 0.000) confirm a significant difference in students' abilities before and after the lesson. The TPS method allows students with varying levels of ability to support each other in understanding the material, thus improving learning outcomes uniformly. Therefore, this method can be recommended as an effective learning strategy to enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in students' mathematics learning outcomes across three schools: SD Yayasan Beribu, SDN 074 Ayudia in Bandung City, and SD Santa Maria Dolok Sanggul. The study involved the entire student population from these three schools, with samples of 20 students from SD Yayasan Beribu, 27 students from SDN 074 Ayudia, and 37 students from SD Santa Maria, totaling 84 students. The research focused on sixth-grade students at each of the schools. The study used a quantitative approach with a comparative method. The sampling technique employed stratified random sampling, and the data collection instrument was a test. The results show that the highest average learning outcome was obtained by SDN 074 Ayudia at 89.81, followed by SD Yayasan Beribu at 83.50, and SD Santa Maria at 82.43. The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed, but the homogeneity test showed that the variance was not homogeneous (Sig. = 0.008). The ANOVA test revealed significant differences in mathematics learning outcomes between the three schools (Sig. = 0.000). Post Hoc analysis revealed significant differences between SD Yayasan Beribu and SDN 074 Ayudia, as well as between SDN 074 Ayudia and SD Santa Maria, but no significant difference between SD Yayasan Beribu and SD Santa Maria. This study emphasizes the importance of evaluating teaching practices to create more equitable learning outcomes across schools.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling in elementary schools has a strategic role in shapingstudents' character. This study aims to analyze the implementation of guidanceand counseling in developing students' character in Putat public elementaryschools, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and develop strategies toimprove the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services. Using adescriptive qualitative approach, this study collected data through observation,interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate thatguidance and counseling in Putat public elementary schools has been integratedinto the education system, although it still faces obstacles such as limitedprofessional guidance and counseling personnel, lack of parental understanding,and external influences such as social media. Supporting factors include supportfrom the principal, teacher competence, and collaboration with teachers andparents. Strategies to improve the effectiveness of guidance and counselinginclude integration with the curriculum, experience-based learning methods, anddigital technology-based approaches. With improvements in guidance andcounseling services, it is hoped that students' characters can develop optimallyand sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of educational management functions at Sidokumpul 2 Gresik public elementary school. The management functions studied include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that although the implementation of educational management functions at Sidokumpul 2 Gresik Public Elementary School has been running well, there are still obstacles such as budget limitations and a lack of competent educators. Therefore, a more effective management improvement strategy is needed to improve this school's education quality.

Abstract

This study is a qualitative study with a narrative type. It aims to describe and analyze the perspectives of parents of elementary school students on the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the city of Yogyakarta. The data collected are in the form of stories or narratives through semi-structured interviews with parents of students who are the heads of school committees and parents of students who are not members of the committee. The stories or narratives collected are then analyzed and linked to the support of relevant literature and theories to obtain meaning. The results of the study show that the perspectives of parents of elementary school students on the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the city of Yogyakarta are diverse. However, these perspectives tend to be less in accordance with the essence of learning in the Independent Curriculum which has a constructivist paradigm. Parents of elementary school students still believe that the traditional learning paradigm is the best for elementary school students. In fact, the Independent Curriculum aims to place children as active subjects in learning and prioritize children's talents and interests. So researchers can conclude and provide recommendations that the perspective of parents is very important to consider in the process of implementing a curriculum. The perspective of parents needs to be built so that they can become partners of teachers and schools in monitoring, supporting and directing children's potential.

Abstract

The study of Al-Qur’an Hadith is essential in developing students' foundational knowledge of religion and nurturing their moral values from an early stage. However, low motivation among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students in engaging with this subject remains a significant challenge for educators. This study aims to theoretically examine the effectiveness of the reward and punishment method in enhancing students' learning motivation in Al-Qur’an Hadith lessons. Using a qualitative approach through library research, data were collected from academic journals, educational books, and relevant research findings. The results indicate that rewards such as verbal praise, symbolic awards, and positive reinforcement significantly increase student enthusiasm and engagement. On the other hand, mild punishments like warnings or reminders help develop discipline without reducing intrinsic motivation. This study highlights that a balanced implementation of rewards and punishments can serve as an effective pedagogical strategy to improve student participation in Al-Qur’an Hadith learning. Future studies are encouraged to integrate parental involvement and interactive learning methods to further enhance educational outcomes.
