Abstract

This article examines the thoughts of prominent philosophers Ibnu Rushd and Ibnu Taymiyah in terms of the relationship between religion and reason in the context of Islamic educational philosophy from the perspective of Ibn Rushd and Ibn Taymiyah. The purpose of this article is to provide readers with an understanding of the relationship between religion and reason in the context of Islamic educational philosophy. This research method uses the library research method or library study. The conclusion that can be drawn from Ibn Rushd is that being busy with philosophy does not make faith and religion damaged. Because philosophy does not conflict with religion, while religion does not deny philosophy, in fact it recommends and calls for it, because religion commands research and contemplation of the universe. In general, philosophizing is nothing more than examining forms in terms of their indication of the existence of a Creator. Ibn Taimiyah emphasized that in principle revelation and reason cannot conflict with each other. And if it is forced, there will be a conflict between the two, the conflict that arises is the argument, namely about the status of qat'i zanni, not about its status as revelation and reason.

Abstract

This research examines the management of acceptance and regard in educational relationships from Hamka's perspective in Tafsir Al-Azhar. Using the qualitative method of literature study, the main data source being Tafsir Al-Azhar itself as well as other sources to support it, three forms of management were found, namely non-dominative action. Non-dominative actions are actions, attitudes, or other things that do not give the impression of domination by parents or teachers over children or students. This non-dominative action is found in Hamka's interpretation of Q.S. Asy-Syu'arâ': 215. Another form of management is a serious response. This serious response concerns the way parents or teachers treat children or students. Responding to it with a serious response is not taking it lightly at all. This serious response can be found in Hamka's interpretation of Q.S. Yûsuf: 4-5. And reactive patience. Reactive patience is related to internal patience, which is externalized reactively to children or students in the form of reactions or responses that do not conflict with patience. This reactive patience is found in Hamka's interpretation of Q.S. Yûsuf: 16-18.

Abstract

This research wants to reveal Nurkholish Madjid's ideas regarding Islamic reform within the framework of religious moderation. It is important for us to highlight this idea here because in the modern era, violence has spread due to excessive fanaticism. The reason is that there are certain groups who are not responsible in their name as Muslims but act according to their own wishes. Of course, there must be an idea of religious moderation for those who always commit acts of violence in the name of religion. Cak Nur is working hard to uncover the true veil of Islam through the lens of Islamic universalism. Monotheism is the initial basis for Muslims in re-establishing moderate concepts in religion. By using a library research approach, this research wants to reveal Cak Nur's ideas in the frame of religious moderation. Because the religious moderation developed by Cak Nur is moderation that prioritizes humanity and justice which are no longer negotiable. This vision of humanity and justice has been implemented in the true teachings of Islam. If today there are Muslims who cannot put forward a vision of humanity and justice, it means they have not been able to understand Islam universally and deeply. The Islam that we understand is Islam that always prioritizes a vision of complete humanity.

Abstract

Examining the necessity of multicultural Islamic education in contemporary Indonesian school is the goal of this study. This study employed library research as its methodology. Both primary and secondary data sources are used in the data collection for this study. The author applies analytical descriptive data analysis approaches to the data analysis. Specifically, information about the subject of the study is gathered, categorized, explained, and ultimately concluded. According to the study's findings, multicultural education is thought to be the greatest way to address the diversity that already exists in society, including differences in culture, religion, ethnicity, and other areas, by encouraging an appreciation of diversity. Since Allah SWT created humanity and nature with great diversity, differences are a blessing rather than something to be despised or viewed as sinful. Therefore, multicultural education must be seen as a practical aspect of multiculturalism, where one must put the theory into practice by taking actual action in addition to understanding it.

This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research and case studies to explore the Ustadz's strategy in improving and maintaining students' memorization of the Alquran at the Darullughah IV Islamic Boarding School. Abstract

Humans were created and placed on Earth not only to worship but also to serve as leaders (khalifah). However, fulfilling this role effectively is impossible if their basic needs are unmet. The fulfillment of these needs is a fundamental obligation that must be prioritized. To meet these needs, humans must strive and work, and one of the ways to do so is through business. Ethics is essential in shaping and building attitudes in all aspects, including business ethics. In Islam, business is not aimed at short-term goals or purely for individual gain but also considers long-term objectives, including one's relationship with Allah SWT. In the Qur'an, work is always linked to faith, indicating a close relationship between faith and activities, akin to the roots of a plant and its fruit. Therefore, when it is time to worship, it must be prioritized, as seen in the command for men to perform Friday prayers before continuing their work. The concept of business ethics in Islam has a different emphasis compared to conventional business ethics. These differences arise due to the distinct foundational principles and thought processes behind each approach. Islamic business ethics are based on the Qur'an and Hadith, the consensus and reasoning of scholars (ijma' and qiyas), and the business experiences within the Muslim community. Islamic Business Ethics can be understood through several concepts, including the Concept of Godliness, the Concept of Ownership as a Trust, the Concept of Good and Right according to Islam, the Concept of Responsibility, the Concept of Honesty, and the Concept of Justice. These concepts form the foundation of an Islamic business code of ethics, which serves as the legal basis for resolving disputes and enhancing brotherhood (Ukhuwah).
