Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine, analyze, and describe the effect of internal mutation on career development, work motivation, and employee performance at RSUD Nene Mallomo Sidenreng Rappang regency, as well as to determine, analyze, and describe the effect of internal mutation on performance. A survey design with a quantitative approach was used in this study, while the research location was RSUD Nene Mallomo Sidenreng Rappang Regency where a sample of 140 employees was taken using a simple random technique from a population of 240 employees. The results showed that internal mutation directly had a significant positive effect on career development, work motivation, and employee performance at RSUD Nene Mallomo Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This study shows that the level of work motivation has a significant influence on improving performance, by motivating them to achieve goals and carry out their tasks more effectively. Internal mutation and career development, although still relevant, seem to have a more limited impact on influencing the performance of civil servants at RSUD Nene Mallomo Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Therefore, management strategies that focus on improving employees' work motivation may be considered more effective in improving the performance of civil servants.

Abstract

PT Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Brake Systems Indonesia, an automotive manufacturing company which is the main vendor of PT Astra Honda Motor, has experienced an increase in the number of rejected part bleeders in its production process. Data shows a significant increase in the number of rejects over the last 3 months, reaching 13% of total production, with a time loss impact of around 2.6 days in 3 months. The research results show that after making improvements using the QC Seven Tools method and the Kaizen approach, the company succeeded in reducing the reject rate on part bleeders significantly. The rejection rate, which previously averaged 4.4%, equivalent to 1,308 pcs per month, was successfully reduced to only 0.01%, equivalent to 4 pcs per month. This shows the effectiveness of applying these methods in improving product quality and production process efficiency. This research makes an important contribution to companies in identifying and overcoming product quality problems effectively, as well as strengthening competition in the automotive market.

Abstract

This study compares the performance of Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest (RF) algorithms in Indonesian batik image classification. Data collected from four batik categories: Pattern Batik Insang, Pattern Batik, Patterns Batik Dump, and Pattern Megamendung. Image feature extracted using Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG). SVM models with linear and RF kernels with 100 decision trees are trained and tested on this dataset. The evaluation results showed that the SVM has an accuracy of 88%, with precision and recall balanced between classes, while RF has an accuracy of 86%, with some classes showing excellent performance. SVM is superior in overall accuracy, but RF offers better interpretability and ease of setting parameters. The conclusions of this study suggest that both algorithms are able to effectively classify bacterial images, but the selection of the algority depends on the specific needs of the application. Further adjustment of parameters and additional preprocessing techniques are recommended to improve model performance. This research provides a strong foundation for further development in the classification of batic images using machine learning.

Abstract

Biological control of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) using Neochetina spp. was studied in the Panchaganga River, Kolhapur, India, where extensive infestations threatened ecological balance and human activities. Five sites along the river were monitored for six months after the introduction of Neochetina weevils. Initial water hyacinth cover averaged 85%, declining to 51% post-intervention, reflecting a 40% reduction. Water quality parameters showed significant improvements, with dissolved oxygen levels increasing by 25% and a slight rise in pH indicating favorable ecosystem conditions. Biodiversity assessments revealed an increase in species diversity indices and the return of native fish species. Statistical analysis confirmed a strong correlation (R² = 0.85) between weevil density and biomass reduction. Visual and spatial analyses supported these findings, showing reduced hyacinth density and improved river navigability. This research demonstrates Neochetina spp. as effective agents for sustainable water hyacinth management, emphasizing their role in restoring ecological health in impacted river systems. article, the method used, the results or findings and conclusions. Abstract

Parthenium hysterophorus (Congress grass) is a significant weed problem in Indian agriculture, causing economic and ecological harm. This study evaluates the use of Zygogramma bicolorata (Mexican beetle) as a biological control method. Field trials were conducted over two years in Maharashtra, with beetles introduced to treatment plots and compared to control plots without beetles. Results showed an 80% reduction in Parthenium density, increased biodiversity (Shannon Index from 1.2 to 2.1), and a 12% boost in adjacent crop yields. Minimal impact on non-target species was observed. Farmers positively received this method for its ease and effectiveness. This study supports Zygogramma bicolorata as a sustainable, eco-friendly alternative to chemical herbicides for weed management.
