Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using Canva media on Indonesian language learning outcomes for Class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Rappang. This research uses a one group pretest-posttest design and a quasi-experimental research design. The population in this study was class VII.c of SMP Negeri 2 Rappang, totaling 65 students, while the sample in this study was class VII.c of SMP Negeri 2 Rappang, totaling 19 students. The data collection technique used is a test in the form of multiplechoice questions to measure student learning outcomes in terms of complete learning and timeliness in receiving material. The results of this research show that there is effectiveness in using Canva media on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Rappang. This is shown from the results of the T-test sample test, the pretest and posttest data on student learning outcomes obtained significance values. From the results of this research which have been analyzed, the average value obtained is Mx (Posttest) = 89,8 > My (Pretest) = 63,3. So it can be concluded that this research shows the effectiveness of using Canva media on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The primary goal of learning English is to serve as a means of communication, given its status as a global language. It is crucial for educators to employ effective teaching techniques that pique students' interest in learning English. To achieve this, instructors should utilize appropriate approaches for instructing procedural writing to encourage active and creative participation in the classroom. Leveraging video as an educational tool aligns with the goals of language instruction, particularly when teaching writing especially write procedural texts. The researchers employed a quantitative research methodology to analyze the data collected in this study. The study focused on the population of class XI students at SMKN 1 Rejotangan with a sample of 41 eleventh-grade AKC 1 students. The research instruments included pre-test and post-test writing assessments. Data analysis involved descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis testing utilizing the Wilcoxon test. The average score in the post-test was found to be higher than the initial test (53.8537 > 79.9024). Moreover, the obtained significant value was lower than the predetermined significance level (0.000 < 0.05), indicating a significant improvement in students' writing abilities after being taught using video as a media.

Abstract

The main objective of learning English is to use it to communicate. Teachers must have good teaching methods to solve the problems students face in learning English.  Communicative Language Teaching is one of the methods that suits the goal of language teaching, especially in teaching speaking. Thus, the research objective was to know the effectiveness of communicative language teaching on students' speaking abilities. The researcher used a quantitative research design that was carried out using a pre-experimental design (pre-test and post-test). The population of this research is tenth-grade students of SMAN 1 Rejotangan Tulungagung. The sample in this study consisted of students from class tenth G, totaling 36 students. The researcher chose 20 tenth-grade students in SMAN 1 Rejotangan Tulungagung for this research. The instrument was an oral test. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, and the hypothesis was tested using a paired Sample T-test. The average post-test score is higher than the average post-test score on the initial test (80.40 > 75.45). Furthermore, the significant value obtained is lower than the significance level (0.000 < 0.05). Thus, the tenth-grade students of SMAN 1 Rejotangan have better speaking ability after being taught using the CLT strategy.

Abstract

In recent years, Indonesian people have been fond of shopping online (e-commerce) through marketplaces, one of which is Shopee. Buying interest is a manifestation of consumer attraction to a company's products or services. This study aims to determine the role of digital marketing in consumer buying interest, especially in the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Sidrap. This study uses a quantitative method. Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Sidrap are the population of the study which amounted to 245 people, the total sample used was 15% of the total population or 36 respondents. Data collection uses the questionnaire method. The instrument used was a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software , this research will be carried out at the Faculty of Economics and Business

Abstract

This development research is driven by technological advances that continue to develop rapidly but have not been utilized optimally by educators. This can be seen from the lack of innovation in creating interesting learning. Monotonous learning activities cause students to feel bored and affect their learning outcomes, especially in the material of the three-variable linear equation system. This research aims to develop a learning media based on the Clickteam Fusion 2.5 mobile application that is valid, practical, and effective. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) development method. The model used in the development process of ADDIE. The subjects of this study are teachers and students of class X of St. Thomas Aquino Catholic High School Tulungagung which totals 95 students. The data collection method uses validity questionnaires from media experts and material experts, questionnaires of teacher and student responses, and student learning outcome tests. The results of the validity test from media experts showed a score of 90% with a very valid category, while material experts obtained a score of 80% with a fairly valid category. The practicality test by teachers showed a score of 80.86% and by students 89.56%, both in the very practical category. The media effectiveness assessment obtained a score of 89% with the category of very effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Halal Label on increasing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). With this research, it can be used as a reference in understanding and developing knowledge about the use of the Halal label on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which aims to understand contextual conditions by leading to a detailed and in-depth portrait of natural environmental conditions, in relation to what actually happens outside based on what happens in the research area. Data sources in this study were obtained from interviews, documentation and literature review. The data analysis technique in this research is qualitative analysis taken from the Miles and Huberman model, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. By increasing income, capital, production, and the number of consumers, it can be concluded that the Halal label is very influential in increasing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Panca Rijang District.

Abstract

This study examines the service system and marketing strategies of PT Pegadaian Rappang Branch to increase customer interest. The marketing strategy involves planning, pricing, promotion, and distribution. To remain competitive in the global market, modern marketing techniques such as cross-selling and up-selling are essential. PT Pegadaian Rappang Branch offers pawn-based credit and deposit services.The research targeted potential customers, including educational institutions and local communities, through socialization and promotional activities. These activities were carried out through direct interactions at Pegadaian offices and presentations at educational institutions. The findings indicate that a good service system includes clear procedures, professional staff, and adequate facilities. The socialization and promotion process received positive responses from the audience, who appreciated the assistance in understanding PT Pegadaian's products and financial management. The study concludes that fast and secure financial services, combined with effective marketing strategies and a robust service system, can significantly enhance consumer interest and understanding of PT Pegadaian's offerings. Moreover, these strategies help the company achieve its long-term goals of maintaining its market presence and improving societal welfare.

Abstract

Implementation of accountability at the national zakat amil agency (BAZNAS) Meranti Islands district in the management of productive zakat funds. The aim of implementing accountability in the management of zakat funds is to create trust in the parties involved in the management and as a form of responsibility for the trust given. The type of data in this research is descriptive qualitative using primary data, namely data obtained directly from the research object. The data collection technique is using interview and documentation techniques. The research results illustrate that BAZNAS Meranti Islands district has not fully implemented accountability in the management of zakat funds.  In implementing BAZNAS accountability for the Meranti Islands district, is done by making financial reports and conducting audits. In preparing the financial reports, BAZNAS, Meranti Islands Regency has implemented the guidelines based on PSAK No. 109, however, it is still not fully implemented. Abstract

At the beginning of the 17th century, Johannes Kepler developed the laws of planetary motion, which became fundamental to understanding the motion of celestial bodies. These principles have been crucial in forming our knowledge of the solar system and help us comprehend how planets orbit the Sun in elliptical orbits. Although Kepler's laws were derived from empirical observations, Isaac Newton's laws of motion and universal gravitation provided a solid theoretical foundation. This research article examines the evidence for Kepler's laws from a Newtonian dynamics perspective, highlighting the harmonious relationship between Kepler's observational discoveries and Newton's mathematical principles.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di SMA Katolik St. Thomas Aquino menunjukkan bahwa sebagian siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mencapai kemandirian belajar karena kurangnya motivasi. Penyebabnya antara lain kesulitan memahami materi secara mandiri, kebosanan, dan kurangnya arahan dalam belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ChatGPT 3.5 terhadap pembelajaran matematika, motivasi, dan kemandirian. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dan metodologi kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Katolik St. Thomas Aquino yang berjumlah 96 orang. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 36 orang di kelas X-1 dan kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 28 orang di kelas X-3. Strategi pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai sig = 0,001 untuk motivasi dan kemandirian dalam pembelajaran matematika, sehingga H01 dan H02 ditolak serta Ha1 dan Ha2 diterima. Kesimpulannya adalah ada pengaruh penggunaan ChatGPT 3.5 terhadap motivasi dan kemandirian belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Katolik St. Thomas Aquino Era Society 5.0.
