The word Manajia comes from the Arabic مناجيا which means survivor, safe, or successful. The use of the name Manajia for the journal means articles written describing survivor and success in management, managerial in educational institutions and others. Manajia: Journal of Education and Management is a peer-reviewed, open access journal publish by Perkumpulan Dosen Fakultas Agama Islam Indramayu that provides articles in all areas of Educational Administration and Management and related disciplines. The scope of Educational Management including leadership, education planning, human resources, education finance, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure, public relations, student affairs, learning process, education management, organizations, quality assurance, and education policy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenakalan dikalangan pelajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji peran guru PAI sebagai pendidik dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode  penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru PAI dalam membentuk karakter siswa sangat diperlukan, karena dengan adanya guru PAI  sebagai tenaga pendidik tentu mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam  mendidik siswa  menjadi manusia yang manusiawi. Perannya sebagai guru PAI dalam membangun karakter siswa antara lain: Pemberdayaan, keteladanan, intervensi, terintegrasi, sekrening. Adapun strategi yang dilakukan guru PAI dalam pembentukan karakter siswa antara lain: Biasakan diri dengan 3S (Senyum, Sapa salam), Biasakan membaca surat pendek, Membaca doa, Biasakan disiplin Hukum, Biasakan jujur.  Faktor  pendukung berasal dari faktor eksternal, seperti kapasitas pedagogi dan profesional guru yang baik, serta kreativitas dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Faktor penghambatnya antara lain faktor internal khususnya individu siswa akibat kurangnya pendidikan  orang tua dan pengawasan terhadap anak sejak dini, serta faktor eksternal. Faktor eksternal merupakan salah satu faktor penghambat di luar lingkungan masyarakat yang acuh tak acuh terhadap berbagai macam permasalahan yang ada dikalangan peserta didik, padahal masyarakat merupakan kelanjutan pendidikan  dari tingkat sekolah, karena lingkungan masyarakat sering disebut informal. pendidikan, juga mempunyai pengaruh yang besar terhadap kehidupan peserta didik, khususnya terhadap pembentukan kepribadian peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai pendidikan Islam akhir-akhir ini masih menjadi perhatian utama  mayoritas umat Islam, karena berkembangnya pendidikan Islam dengan kesadaran yang sangat tinggi dari setiap orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif (penelitian kualitatif) yang bertujuan untuk mendeteksi situasi sosial tertentu dengan mendeskripsikan realitas secara akurat tanpa adanya manipulasi, dibentuk dari kata-kata berdasarkan teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data  relevan yang diperoleh dari situasi alam. Data dikumpulkan dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Analisisnya dilakukan dengan reduksi data, visualisasi data, triangulasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Namun komunitas minoritas Muslim masih menjadi perhatian dalam pengembangan pendidikan di tingkat lokal. Baik bagi mayoritas maupun minoritas, Islam selalu membawa perjuangan yang tiada henti untuk pendidikan Islam di setiap daerah. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pendidikan di pesantren selalu menjadi perhatian utama. Program pendidikan Islam yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Yaqin juga memperhatikan kebutuhan santri untuk menghadapi masa depan. Tidak hanya secara lokal tetapi juga untuk mempersiapkan persaingan lokal dan permintaan global.

Abstract

Agama Islam memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan seorang muslim. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi guru agama Islam di SMP Negeri 2 Sibolangit untuk memiliki strategi yang efektif dalam mengimplementasikan ajaran agama islam kepada siswa. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di SMP Negeri 2 Sibolangit. Penelitian ini tergolong sebagai penelitian kualitatif, sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer dan sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah  peneliti sebagai instrument kunci dengan menggunakan  panduan observasi, pedoman wawancara dan fomat catatan dokumentasi.

Abstract

The development of village potential towards a progressive society is something that must be considered. Students are expected to be able to understand every problem that occurs in society and make the best decisions to be able to solve these problems with creative ideas. Sukasari Village is one of the village areas located in Arahan District, Indramayu Regency. The majority of the eyes of the Sukasari people are as farmers. As for some of the potential of Sukasari Village, namely agriculture, animal husbandry and home industry. One form of student contribution in fostering community togetherness. “Learning to Read and Write the Qur'an for Children”. The aim of implementing the program is to increase understanding, belief and apply religious values ​​in daily life for children -children in Sukasari Village. This program uses several methods such as the demonstration method, question and answer, or the Iqro method when reciting the Koran. The porporation method, a summary of the material to be delivered, then students listen and understand then the essence that has been conveyed by the educator. While the question and answer method is used when teaching and learning activities take place and there are students who do not understand, then students are welcome to ask questions and educators will answer. Not only asking the educator, but students are able and allowed to ask other students so that there is active interaction during the learning process. Meanwhile, the Iqro method is used when carrying out recitation training, especially for children who are still illiterate with hijaiyah letters.

Abstract

Indonesia in 2020 was hit by a covid-19 pandemic, all activities were carried out online because it was to prevent and reduce the spread of the covid-19 virus. In learning activities, it also uses an online system at the school and university levels. An internet connection, and supporting devices such as laptops or gadgets are important in online learning. The obstacles experienced by students in general are inadequate internet connections, or constrained due to weather. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the difficulties of students in learning speaking courses with the constraints of internet conditions and their effect on the effectiveness of learning. This research uses qualitative methods and the research design is a case study.  The results of this study can be concluded that internal factors such as network constraints or internet connections faced by students in the general speaking learning process are quite influencing the learning process, especially for students whose residences do not have a good internet network. However, online learning also has a positive side, namely that students can study anywhere even if they are outside the home, they can still participate in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the advantages and disadvantages of Google classroom in Phytagoras learning in junior high school students. The method used in this study is qualitative through surveys. Where is the limitation of the problem that will be the object in the research activity. The results showed that online learning using the google classroom application has advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that learning is more practical, saves time, makes it easier to do tasks and can see the material anywhere and anytime. The disadvantages of Google Classroom are that the learning material is not very understandable, the network is unstable and internet quota constraints, cannot ask the teacher directly if there is material that is not understood.

Abstract

The development of the use of a Learning Management System (Learning Management System) along with the online learning process during the pandemic which has been going on for more than a year has made the learning system more advanced. Among the many LMS, the padlet platform offers added value, namely an interactive, communicative, and innovative learning model. Padlet is an application that is present as an alternative to online learning during the current pandemic. Padlet can help teachers and students to communicate virtually. The padlet application helps educators in providing material, creating assignments, and discussing related material with students. Padlet media made by the teacher as a result of technical guidance also meet good learning standards. Nonetheless, the use of padlets as an LMS in the future needs to be developed in order to meet the demands of online and remote learning. The method used in this literature study is a qualitative descriptive method, which describes several statements regarding the use of the padlet, the advantages and disadvantages of the application, and some matters that are still related to the mechanism of this padlet application. The results of the study show that, first, there are several ways to use the padlet application. Second, there are advantages and disadvantages to the application. Third, there are several reasons why the padlet application is a recommendation in learning during a pandemic.

Abstract

The social media that is currently popular and widely used is TikTok, based on the report We Are Social Indonesia is in second place with the number of active TikTok users of 99.1 million people. the average Tiktok user in Indonesia, especially teenagers and students, uses 9 hours per day to watch Videos on Tiktok. Therefore, lecturers or teachers are also required to make learning activities more interesting by learning English using Tiktok as a medium. This study aims to find out whether Tiktok can be used as a learning medium that students like. The participants of this study were 5 selected students in semester 5 of the English Department of Wiralodra University. The instrument that researchers use is interviews. Researchers use structured interviews and qualitative interviews. From this data, it can be concluded that students of the English Language Education study program at Wiralodra University use TikTok as a learning medium, especially learning English.

Abstract

Motivation is a force that moves a person to achieve a goal and is very important for students because it can increase their enthusiasm for learning. Motivation to learn in all aspects of learning is very important to improve student achievement in certain subjects. The research method used is library research which is online and can be accessed permanently in the library/reading room. The future learning process mainly depends on one factor: motivation, because motivation supports, stimulates and encourages learning. . Research based on direct observation shows that highly motivated students often try harder, appear brave or never give up, actively read and try to improve their academic achievement, and are able to solve problems that arise. The passion that motivates someone to learn is called learning motivation. Motivation can come from within (intrinsic motivation) or from outside (extrinsic motivation). A person's level of motivation influences his behavior in areas of life such as studying and working.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the cognitive view of learning. To achieve this goal, this research uses literature research or literature review methods. This research collects literature from various books and articles related to the subject discussed with the keywords cognitive view of learning. The research results show that the cognitive perspective in learning emphasizes interaction and mental processes in learning, where students manage information, experience emotional experiences, and become more independent by solving problems or using learning transfer to achieve learning goals. This approach can help students understand how to manage information, solve problems, and interact actively during the learning process.
