Abstract

This community service is aimed at students of SMK Negeri 1 Pangkalpinang, this can provide an overview in order to prepare themselves to become successful young entrepreneurs by starting various productive businesses. Planting and prioritizing the entrepreneurial spirit since school is the basic foundation for building courage and motivation to improve welfare through creative ideas and skills that are owned, this can help the government in the problem of unemployment and reduce poverty. In addition, the role of teachers and lecturers must be able to explore student competencies not only in terms of intelligence, but also focus on shaping morals and building student character in entrepreneurship. The success of this community service activity can be measured from two achievements, including all series of service events running smoothly without hindrance, and the material on the spirit of young entrepreneurs has been received and practiced by students. The questionnaire results showed an increase in students' knowledge about entrepreneurship. The accumulated answers to the questionnaire showed that 45% of the participants strongly agreed with the entrepreneur training and 55% agreed. The outcomes of this service include that students in accordance with the focus on each of their vocations become job-ready graduates such as becoming entrepreneurs, exporters or international trade.

Abstract

Water quality is one of the most influential factors in the process of cultivating fish in ponds, so it is necessary to monitor water quality regularly to obtain viable and abundant fish commodities. The obstacle in fish farming is the problem of unproductive land due to poor water quality. The low understanding of pond farmers regarding water quality is also one of the factors in decreasing income from fish farming in ponds. Thus it is necessary to carry out education related to monitoring pond water quality to farmers. This community service activity was carried out at the pond farmer group in Margoyoso Pati Village, Central Java on Saturday, August 12, 2023. The community service partner for this activity is the “Bersatu Makmur” farmer group. The implementation of this service activity is divided into two sessions. The first session was a material delivery session on water quality monitoring education while the second session was the practice of monitoring water quality in the farmers' pond locations. The result of this community service activity is the increased understanding of pond farmers in Margoyoso Village, Pati Regency, Central Java regarding monitoring water quality according to the parameters of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI).

Abstract

Adolescent health is a complex issue. In dealing with this problem, it is often found that teenagers will seek as much information as possible, especially in a time of speedy technological developments like today. The information sought starts from growth and development, health, relationships, fashion trends, etc. The ability to filter the truth from the information obtained needs to be paid attention to. This community service activity aims to enrich knowledge and familiarize teenagers with healthy behaviour in Mojokerto. The method used was health education conducted in 5 high schools/vocational schools in the Mojokerto area with non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases, risky sexual behaviour, stunting incidents, and bullying/bullying. Participants in this activity are students from class X - XII. The results obtained from this community service activity are the increasing knowledge of adolescents about adolescent health, which includes non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases, risky sexual behaviour, stunting incidents, and bullying/bullying. Before the health counselling, most participants had sufficient category knowledge (68,8%); after the health education, almost all participants had good category knowledge (86,7%). Understanding and educating teenagers about health through multisectoral and multidimensional collaboration is essential.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period marked by biological, psychological, and social development. These changing conditions often result in disharmony, so a balance is needed so that adolescents can achieve adequate and mature psychosocial development in accordance with age-level developments. It is estimated that 1 in 7 children aged 10 to 19 are likely to experience psychological problems. It is unfortunate that this emotional disorder is not recognized and often does not get proper treatment. The determinant of emotional mental symptoms in Indonesia in junior high school students is 60.17% of junior high school students, with the majority being between the ages of 13 and 15 who experience symptoms of mental emotional problems. Symptoms experienced, such as loneliness (44.45%), feeling anxious (40.75%), and even having suicidal ideation (7.33%), Therefore, the provision of related education can provide input and knowledge to adolescents about the benefits of managing emotional and mental health. The method of implementing community service is by giving pre- and post-tests to measure adolescent knowledge about emotional and mental health. The results of this service activity show that there is an increase in knowledge in adolescents before and after being given health education

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Museum Mpu Tantular, menjadi upaya penting dalam menjembatani keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam melestarikan warisan budaya Indonesia. Dalam konteks ini, berbagai program edukasi, kegiatan konservasi dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk memperluas pemahaman, meningkatkan kesadaran, serta memberdayakan masyarakat lokal. Melalui program-program ini, museum telah berhasil menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang mendalam bagi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo serta memberikan kesempatan kepada masyarakat untuk memahami nilai-nilai budaya, mengasah keterampilan, dan terlibat dalam upaya pelestarian artefak bersejarah. Kolaborasi yang erat institusi pendidikan telah memperluas akses pengetahuan akan sejarah dan kekayaan budaya Indonesia bagi generasi muda. Penggalangan dana dan kegiatan sosial yang diadakan oleh museum juga memberikan manfaat langsung bagi komunitas sekitar, sementara partisipasi aktif dalam program konservasi memberdayakan masyarakat untuk terlibat secara langsung dalam menjaga keberlangsungan warisan budaya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Museum Mpu Tantular tidak hanya menciptakan hubungan yang erat antara museum dan masyarakat, tetapi juga memperkuat kesadaran akan pentingnya melestarikan warisan budaya. Dampak jangka panjang dari kegiatan ini akan terus memberikan manfaat bagi apresiasi terhadap kekayaan budaya Indonesia dan memperkuat ikatan antara masyarakat dengan warisan leluhur mereka
