Abstract

Work-related fatigue is one of the occupational safety and health problems that can affect workers’ concentration, performance, and safety. This community service activity aimed to identify workers’ physical fatigue conditions and determine fatigue control efforts in the work area with the highest fatigue level. The activity was conducted at PT. X, Balikpapan, involving 18 workers from QC and Lab, Workshop, and Batching Plant areas. The activity began with hazard identification using Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC), followed by physical fatigue measurement using the Three-Dimensional Work Fatigue Inventory (3D-WFI). The results showed that the highest level of physical fatigue was found among Batching Plant workers. Based on these findings, a Fatigue Management SOP was developed covering work and rest schedules, short breaks, hydration, worker condition monitoring, fatigue handling, and recovery. The SOP is expected to increase workers’ awareness and support more structured and consistent fatigue control. Further evaluation is needed to determine the effectiveness of SOP implementation in controlling workers’ fatigue.

Abstract

This Field Work Practice (KKL) report discusses the implementation of a Quality Control (QC) system on production results at CV Bie Hin Tailor. The purpose of this activity was to determine the implementation of quality control, understand the use of the Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) Sampling Plan method, analyze product quality based on inspection results, and identify product defects in suits and trousers. The methods used in this activity were observation and analysis of production data, Quality Control inspection results, rejected product data during the 2025–2026 period. Quality control was carried out using the AQL method based on the ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 standard through sample inspections to determine the acceptance or rejection of a production lot. The analysis results showed that during the January–June 2025 period, the percentage of good products was 83.4%, with a QC escape rate of 0.5%. During the July–December 2025 period, production quality improved, with the percentage of good products increasing to 95.5% and the QC escape rate decreasing to 0.4%. However, during the January–May 2026 period, the QC escape rate increased to 0.7%, even though the total production volume decreased. The implementation of AQL also showed that product defects were still found and required improvement. Overall, the Quality Control system at CV Bie Hin Tailor has been implemented and plays an important role in maintaining production quality. However, improvements in inspection accuracy, consistency, clearer implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and continuous evaluation are still needed to minimize product defects and improve production quality.

Abstract

Field Work Practice (KKL) is an academic activity that provides students with real experience in understanding the application of theory in the workplace. This KKL activity was carried out at Prima Fresh Mart with a focus on product display arrangement and cleanliness in the sales area. The purpose of this report is to identify the implementation of product display, shelf cleanliness, inventory control, and the 5R work culture in supporting store operations. The methods used were direct observation, participation in daily activities, field notes, and literature study. The results show that neat product arrangement, clean displays, and the implementation of FIFO and FEFO can support customer comfort and smooth store operations. However, there are still obstacles during busy hours, especially in shelf neatness and consistency in maintaining the cleanliness of the sales area. Therefore, more routine supervision and continuous work discipline are needed so that the store display quality remains optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of telemarketing in strengthening relationships with loyal customers and increasing service bookings at Auto2000 Basuki Rahmat Surabaya. Telemarketing plays a key role in maintaining customer communication through service reminders, follow-ups, and the dissemination of information regarding services and promotions. The study employs a descriptive approach, gathering data through observations of telemarketing activities, customer service, the service booking process, and inter-departmental coordination related to customer service. The analysis reveals that telemarketing contributes to maintaining customer relationships and encouraging customers to make service bookings. However, its implementation remains suboptimal; the average customer handling time is 17 minutes, whereas the established target is 7 minutes. This situation is attributed to a lack of integrated communication systems, staff reliance on other departments for information, limited access to customer data, and insufficient knowledge regarding products and services. Consequently, improvements are needed, including the development of an integrated digital system, enhanced telemarketing staff competence, optimized communication channels, and better customer database management. These measures are expected to boost telemarketing effectiveness, service quality, customer loyalty, and service booking rates at Auto2000 Basuki Rahmat Surabaya.

Abstract

Availability and timely distribution of essential medicines and medical supplies are critical factors in public healthcare quality. This study evaluated the operational management of drug distribution based on LPLPO (Laporan Pemakaian dan Lembar Permintaan Obat) at UPTD Instalasi Farmasi Kesehatan (IFK) Surabaya City, which serves 63 public health centers (Puskesmas). The method used qualitative field observation, interviews, and operational data analysis during a one-month Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) program. The study identified main operational bottlenecks, including human error in data entry using the SIMBOK digital application, discrepancies between Surat Bukti Barang Keluar (SBBK) and physical items, and distribution schedule delays caused by late deliveries from central supplies. To address these issues, a strategic framework was established focusing on rigorous cross-checking protocols, regional route optimization (West, North, Central, South, and East Surabaya), routine fleet maintenance, and FEFO-based inventory control. Improving operational synchronization between IFK and local Puskesmas significantly enhances supply chain reliability and healthcare service efficiency.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS) are essential preventive measures that should be instilled from elementary school age, as children are susceptible to infectious diseases such as diarrhea, respiratory infections, and intestinal worms associated with handwashing habits. Limited knowledge and skills in proper handwashing with soap (CTPS) may increase disease transmission risks in schools. This community service initiative aimed to improve students’ knowledge and skills regarding PHBS, particularly the six-step handwashing method recommended by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The activity was conducted at Sidokelar Public Elementary School (SDN Sidokelar), involving students from lower and upper grades. The methods included health education using posters, videos, and educational songs, followed by demonstrations and hands-on practice led by the implementation team. Materials covered PHBS, the importance of handwashing, appropriate handwashing moments, and the six correct steps. Activities included preparation, material delivery, demonstration, practice, and assessment. Students participated enthusiastically, especially during practical sessions and handwashing songs. This initiative aims to raise awareness and encourage daily handwashing with soap to prevent infectious diseases
