Abstract

Minyak inti sawit (PKO) merupakan minyak yang diolah dari kernel sawit. Minyak ini mengandung asam lemak rantai sedang seperti asam kaprilat, asam kaprat, asam kaproat, dan asam laurat, dimana asam lemak ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan bahan kimia yang banyak manfaatnya seperti trigliserid rantai sedang (medium chain triglyceride). Produk MCT telah dimanfaatkan untuk pengobatan penderita HIV, kanker, gangguan jantung, dan gangguan pada pencernaan. Rancangan percobaan Box-Behnken dipakai untuk menguji parameter proses pada produksi medium chain triglyceride (MCT) dari asam laurat melaui proses esterifikasi enzimatis menggunakan katalis enzim Rhizomucor miehei. Parameter esterifikasi yang diuji mencakup rasio mol gliserol dan asam laurat, suhu reaksi dan waktu reaksi. Produk MCT mencapai nilai terbaik pada kondisi operasi rasio mol gliserol dengan asam laurat 1:6, selama 6 jam, dan pada suhu 60 °C dengan rendemen MCT 48.81% dan konversi asam laurat sebesar 88.19%. Sementara itu, konversi terendah dihasilkan pada kondisi operasi selama 24 jam, pada suhu 55 °C dan rasio mol gliserol dengan asam laurat 1:9 dengan konversi hanya 24%

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is characterized by hyperinsulinemia and hyperglicemia. Soy bean Milk ishigh nutrient drink, especially its protein contain. Several researches demonstrated that soy bean proteindecrease plasma insulin and blood glucose level. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of soy beanmilk in reducing insulin resistance of rat T2DM Model. This experimental study used pre and post test controlgroup design. Male Rattus norvegicus wistar strain 8 week old were used as animal model. T2DM rats wereconstructed by giving high fat diet and continue with injection of low dose of streptozotocin. Rats were dividedinto 7 groups (1) Negative control group (2) Positive control group (T2DM rat without soy bean milk) (3) T2DMrat that treated with genistein 15 g/kgBW (4) T2DM rat that treated with soy bean milk 10 ml/kgBW/day (5)DMT2 rat that treated with soy bean milk 30 ml/kgBW/day (6) T2DM rat that treated with soy bean milk 60ml/kgBW/day and (7) T2DM rat that treated with soy bean milk 90 ml/kgBW/day.

Abstract

Religiosity is the ability of individuals to understand, live, and apply the values of their religion in everyday life. Character education is the cultivation of ways of thinking and behaving that are characteristic of each individual to live and work together, both within the family and in society. Meanwhile, aggression is an emotional outburst as a reaction to individual failure which is shown in the form of damaging people or objects with an intentional element expressed in words (verbal) and non-verbal behavior. In the research that will be conducted, the researcher will test whether there is an influence of students' religiosity and character education on the level of aggressiveness at MI Istiqlal Jakarta. The method used is quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis, the subject is 165 students of which 69 are male and 96 are female. The sampling technique used is quota sampling by collecting data using a Likert scale with 4 answer choices. The results in the study found that the R square was 0.185, which means 18.5% of the influence of religiosity and character education on aggressiveness. While 81.5% is influenced by other variables

Abstract

The use of enzymes in Indonesia is increasing rapidly and is used in various industries, especially FCMG. One of the enzymes that is widely used is xylanase, which is an extracellular enzyme that can hydrolyze xylan into xylose and xylo-oligosaccharides. This research aims to determine the optimum conditions for the xylanase production process from coffee cherry processing waste (CCPW) using Trichoderma viride through solid fermentation. The research method used was experimental using central composite design (CCD) in Design Expert 13.0 software. The treatment designs used were fermentation times of 24 hours, 48 ​​hours, and 72 hours; and substrate concentrations of 25%, 50%, and 75%. The experimental response analysis design was enzyme activity, protein content, and specific activity. The results of the research show that the optimum conditions for xylanase production are at a substrate concentration of 75% and a fermentation time of 24 hours with a desirability value of 0.742, which produces an enzyme activity value of 36.388 U/mL and a dissolved protein content of 0.494 mg/mL with a specific activity of 73.660. U/mg. The verification results show conformity with the formula predicted by the Design Expert 13.0 software, namely enzyme activity of 36,292 U/mL and protein content of 0.488 mg/mL with a specific activity of 74,369 U/mg

Abstract

Mango is a tropical fruit that is rich in nutrients and has high economic value in Indonesia. Product innovation is important to increase selling value and reduce losses due to market competition. This study aims to calculate the Cost of Goods Produced of mango flour in determining the Selling Price per Kg at CV Wulan Jaya which is a mango producer company. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using quantitative data sourced from primary data. The cost of production of mango flour is Rp57,765 (rounded) plus a markup of 20% and an estimated marketing cost of 10% so that the selling price can be determined at Rp75,100 (rounded). This research emphasizes the importance of cost calculation in production planning and control to improve market competitiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan pada perusahaan mangga, CV Wulan Jaya. Pada proses produksinya, CV Wulan Jaya mengalami kendala di masa panen raya, yakni panen yang melinpah. Solusi yang dilakukan oleh CV Wulan Jaya adalah melakukan diversifikasi produk yakni menjadi puree mangga. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menghitung harga pokok produksi (hpp) dari produk puree mangga yang nantinya akan membantu manajemen perusahaan CV Wulan Jaya untuk mempresisikan harga jual puree mangga. Metode dalam menentukan hpp yakni dengan metode full costing. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara serta dikuatkan dengan data dokumentasi. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa data yang diikuti dengan penarikan kesimpulan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah harga pokok produksi pure mangga per kemasan 5 kg adalah Rp113.347,28 dan jika diasumsikan keuntungan sebesar 20% maka harga jual produk puree mangga adalah sebesar Rp136.016,74. Selanjutnya dilakukan perbandingan dengan harga produk sejenis di pasaran dijual denga harga Rp197.500,00. Produk puree mangga CV Wulan Jaya memiliki kemampuan untuk bersaing dengan produk sejenis di pasaran dengan selisih harga sebesar Rp61.843,26

Abstract

Poverty remains a critical issue in Indonesia, requiring comprehensive and effective policies for its alleviation. This study examines the strategies and implementation of poverty alleviation policies in Indonesia, focusing on their design, impact, and challenges. The study explores various initiatives, including the e-Warong program in Padang, community-based empowerment programs in Papua, and fiscal policy interventions like the Family Hope Program (PKH). Findings reveal that education, healthcare access, and community empowerment play pivotal roles in reducing poverty. However, regional disparities and limited resources remain significant barriers

Abstract

The principles of Islamic economics are based on Islamic values that govern the behavior of both business actors and consumers, setting boundaries for transactions. One key distinction between Islamic economics and conventional economics lies in the guiding principles derived from Islamic law, particularly the Quran and Hadith, which ensure that economic activities comply with Sharia. Indonesia’s economic system should be aligned with both government regulations and Islamic law to create harmony between the two legal systems, promoting ethical behavior, honesty, and preventing harm to others. Conflicts often arise when actions deviate from established rules, highlighting the need for legal regulations that protect consumers and deter businesses from exploiting customers or manipulating goods for profit. Experts in economics should be actively involved in managing Indonesia's economy to ensure sustainable growth and prevent economic decline. The potential for Indonesia's economic development is significant, and strategic efforts must be intensified to support this growth. A well-regulated framework, with clear boundaries and strict sanctions, will prevent unethical practices, ensuring that economic activities are fair, just, and beneficial for all, ultimately contributing to Indonesia's economic progress.

Abstract

Progressively increase consumer of HP (Hand Phone) at this time, make celluler provider in this country compete to give programs can make consumer interest. Like a IM3 which give telephone and SMS tarif cheap to consumer. IM3 many use advertising like a print and electronic to introduce program they are to consumer celluler. But often advertising present good by IM3 or other celluler provider too abundant, so that make consumer swallow the bait. in this fact, need consumer involvement to searching more information about program an offer by celluler provider, so that consumer don't feel swallow the bait. With consumer involvement in searching information about brand, expect consumer can know good or bad a program from celluler provider, to be make brand loyalty from consumer to product from celluler provider. Because that the purpose from this research is to know consumer involvement to SIM card brand trough advertising so that can make brand loyalty. Sample which use in this research is consumer IM3's SIM card of old age minimum 16 year which buying repeat voucher more from 10 time and use more from 1 year. Data's gathering do by submit list of question to respondent (questioner). Analysis used in research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result from this research is can know that advertising effectiveness influential positive to consumer involvement. So also with consumer involvement influential positive to brand loyalty.

Abstract

The Sejahtera Forest Farmers Group (KTH) was established to improve the welfare of the community in Kretek Village, Taman Krocok Subdistrict, Bondowoso Regency. This KTH manages robusta coffee plantations with an annual yield of 500-800 kg. However, for 11 years, the land has not been fertilized, resulting in decreased soil productivity and coffee bean quality. To address this issue, pyrolysis technology was introduced to utilize coffee husk waste. This technology produces biochar, which can enhance soil fertility, bind pollutants, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It also produces liquid smoke that can be used as an antimicrobial agent and food preservative. The goal of this activity is to help the community turn coffee husk waste into a valuable product. The method used is participatory rural appraisal, which includes introducing innovations to process coffee husk waste into biochar and liquid smoke, designing and building the equipment, and conducting hands-on practice involving the Sejahtera KTH members. The results of this community service activity show an increase in the knowledge and skills of forest farmers in making biochar and liquid smoke using pyrolysis technology, from 30% to 90%. Overall, this community service program has fostered enthusiasm for utilizing coffee husk waste and enhanced the cohesion of the Sejahtera KTH.
