Abstract

Women deciding to pursue a career has caused a shift in the main role of women. The increase in the number of female workers is due to the equal opportunity between women and men in obtaining higher education. However, in reality, there are many challenges that must be faced by married women when they decide to start their careers. In dealing with this phenomenon, work-life balance and organizational support are needed to increase the work engagement of female employees in the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work life balance and perceived organizational support on work engagement. The method used is a quantitative method with a population of 40 married female employees of PTPN I Regional 4 Surabaya and sampling techniques using saturated samples, namely samples taken to represent the entire population. Data were obtained through a questionnaire which was compiled based on indicators of each research variable and then analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results of the study showed the influence of work life balance and perceived organizational support on work engagement.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of knowledge sharing and competence on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Bangkalan through individual innovation capability. In this context, knowledge sharing and competence are considered crucial for creating good performance in schools. This research employs a quantitative method with the help of a questionnaire to collect data from a sample of 73 respondents. Data analysis is conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results show that knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, as does competence. Furthermore, knowledge sharing and competence also have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance through individual innovation capability. These results indicate a mutually influential relationship between knowledge sharing, competence, individual innovation capability, and teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Bangkalan.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of celebrity endorsers and brand image on Erigo's purchasing decisions in the city of Surabaya. In this case, celebrity endorsers and brand image are considered important in increasing purchasing decisions for a product. This research uses a qualitative method using a questionnaire which is used to collect data and the population in this research is the people of Surabaya who have purchased Erigo products with a sample of 90 respondents. Data analysis uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. Celebrity endorsers have the most influential indicator, namely power, and brand image has the most influential indicator, product image. The research results show that celebrity endorsers have a positive and significant influence on the decision to purchase Erigo products in the city of Surabaya as well as the brand image has a positive and significant influence on the decision to purchase Erigo products in the city of Surabaya. These findings show that there is a relationship that mutually influences celebrity endorsers, brand image, and Erigo purchasing decisions in the city of Surabaya.

Abstract

Global technological advancements accelerated the spread of Korean culture, creating the Korean Wave. K-pop music is in high demand by the Millennial generation, and fans are very enthusiastic about their idol group merchandise. Buying excessive K-pop merchandise can lead to consumptive behavior, such as impulse buying, which encourages hedonistic behavior in individuals. The shopping lifestyle also plays a role in this phenomenon. This study examines how hedonic shopping motivation and lifestyle affect impulse purchases of official K-pop merchandise (a study of the Monbebe community). This research methodology is quantitative research with a survey method. Samples were taken from the Monbebe community using non-probability sampling techniques with 100 respondents. Google Forms was used to collect data, and the multiple linear regression method was used to analyze it. The research findings show that impulse buying behavior is significantly and partially influenced by hedonic shopping motivation and shopping lifestyle when buying official K-pop merchandise.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Brand image, variety-seeking behavior, and consumer satisfaction on the brand switching of the DANA e-wallet among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UPN "Veteran" East Java. This research employs a quantitative approach, involving 98 respondents. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, with the criteria being students of FEB UPN "Veteran" East Java who had used DANA and afterward switched to another e-wallet. The analytical technique utilized in this study is Partial Least Squares (PLS), conducted through SmartPLS version 3.0 software, encompassing validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that brand image does not significantly affect brand switching, whereas variety-seeking behavior has a significant and positive impact. Furthermore, consumer satisfaction is demonstrated to mediate the relationship between Brand image and variety-seeking behavior in influencing brand switching.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine and understand how Brand Ambassadors and content marketing affect consumer purchasing decisions to buy Ultra Milk milk. In the current era, many companies use K-pop Brand Ambassadors and content marketing to promote their products on social media platforms, one of which is Instagram. It is hoped that this research will be useful as a reference in future research. The method used in this study uses SEM techniques with a quantitative approach and purposive sampling method using a Likert scale. The results showed that the Brand Ambassador variable did not have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. In contrast to the content marketing variable which has a significant influence. The implication of the results of this study is the importance of companies in optimising the role of Brand Ambassadors in marketing Ultra Milk milk products and maintaining and developing Content Marketing strategies.

Abstract

Skincare has developed rapidly in the last few years, the skincare brands available are very diverse, one of which is Cosrx which comes from South Korea. South Korea is considered a highly innovative country in the beauty and skincare industry, known for its advanced technology and effective product formulations. This research aims to determine the influence of Country of Origin on the decision to purchase Cosrx skincare, the influence of brand image on the decision to purchase Cosrx skincare, and the influence of product quality on the decision to acquire Cosrx skincare. The research method used is quantitative research. The sample in this study used the Likert formula and the results were 90 respondents. The Purposive Sampling method was used for sampling. The data analysis approach uses the PLS (Partial Least Square) program. Based on the research results, country of origin, brand image and product quality all positively and significantly influence consumer purchasing decisions for Cosrx skincare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Financial Experience, Financial Knowledge, and Financial self-efficacy on Financial Management Behavior of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UPN "Veteran" East Java using ShopeePay. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were active undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UPN "Veteran" East Java using ShopeePay. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The number of samples used was 160 respondents. The data analysis technique used was Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study showed that Financial Experience had a positive and significant effect on Financial Management Behavior, Financial Knowledge had a positive and significant effect on Financial Management Behavior, and Financial Self Efficacy had a positive and significant effect on Financial Management Behavior in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UPN "Veteran" East Java using ShopeePay.

Abstract

Forest and land fires are a problem that continues to exist in Indonesia, especially in Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau. The local government of Rokan Hilir Regency has formed a regulation in 2017, in which the regulation includes the Masyarakat Siaga Bencana (DPC) which is expected to be an important instrument in dealing with fire disasters. This journal research is formulated on 3 (three) main problems, namely: 1). How are the efforts of the local government of Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau in dealing with forest and land fires by forming the Masyarakat Siaga Bencana (DPC)? 2). What is the impact of the local government policy of Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau in dealing with forest and land fires by forming the Masyarakat Siaga Bencana (DPC)? 3). How is the analysis of Fiqh Siyasah on the policy of the local government of Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau in dealing with forest and land fires by forming the Masyarakat Siaga Bencana (DPC)? Research results show that efforts of the Regional Government of Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau, in overcoming forest and land fires have been insensitively carried out, including by forming a Regional Regulation in 2017, which includes elements involving the community. The impact of the Regional Government Policy of Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau, in overcoming forest and land fires is only minimal. The community expects strict regulations and the attention of the regional government to provide incentives, training, and skills to the community. Fiqh Siyasah analysis of the policy of the Regional Government of Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau, in overcoming forest and land fires, is part of the government policy that must be obeyed by the community, as a form of obedience to the government as contained in the verse of the Al-Qur'an, chapter An-Nisa' / 4:59.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work-life balance, workload, and burnout on employee performance. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method, utilizing multiple regression analysis with SPSS 26 for data processing. The sample was selected using simple random sampling, where employees from PT. Siraj Badawi Cukup Rupiah was randomly chosen to participate in the survey. A total of 369 questionnaires were distributed, with 110 respondents returning them, yielding a response rate of 29.81%. The findings can be summarized as follows: (1) Work-life balance has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance; (2) Workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (3) Burnout has a significant negative effect on employee performance; (4) Work-life balance, workload, and burnout collectively have a significant impact on employee performance.
