Abstract

This research discusses the influence of cooperative learning models on the language development of children with speech delay. The aim of this study is to examine and demonstrate the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model in improving the speaking abilities of children with speech delay. This research utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach with qualitative questionnaire methods, participatory observation, and structured interviews. Subject determination in the research uses purposive sampling techniques. The research findings indicate that the cooperative learning model can be used as one of the models implemented by teachers to address children with speech delay in schools. The series of learning processes, consisting of three main types of activities arranged by teachers every day, provide opportunities for children with speech delay to socialize intensively with their peers at school, thereby stimulating every aspect of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development in students effectively.

Abstract

There are many challenges and problems faced by autistic children regarding cognitive development. Occupational therapy is a treatment that aims to help someone who has physical, mental and cognitive limitations. This therapy is carried out so that sufferers can become less dependent on other people to live their daily lives. So they can maximize their cognitive potential. The aim of this research is to obtain information about cognitive development in autistic children in flexi schools and how to handle it. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is a student at a flexi school and the object of this research is occupational therapy to improve cognitive development in autistic children. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The data collection techniques used were field observation, interviews and documentation. The conclusion from the results of this research is that children experience an increase in cognitive development, namely they are able to understand the meaning of simple commands, the order and grouping of objects, and the sequence of actions. However, they still need repetition to strengthen their understanding

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve understanding of the concept of numbers using number fishing media in children aged 4-5 years at Kindergarten Pertiwi XI Merauke for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is classroom action research and was carried out over 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 8 children from group A of Kindergarten Pertiwi XI Merauke for the 2022/2023 academic year, consisting of 4 boys and 4 girls. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation. The instruments used are observation sheets for the ability to recognize number concepts and observation sheets for student and teacher activities. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical data analysis. The research results show that the use of number fishing media can improve children's ability to recognize number concepts. This can be shown from the learning success in the category of minimally developing according to expectations or three stars increasing from 12.5% ​​in the pre-cycle to 12.5% ​​in cycle I and 87.5% in cycle II. Apart from that, there was also an increase in student activity in the very active category of 25% in cycle I, an increase of 75% in cycle II and teacher activity in the learning process increased in both categories in cycle I and cycle II by 100%. So it can be concluded that the use of number fishing media can increase understanding of the concept of numbers in young children 4-5 years old at Kindergarten Pertiwi XI Merauke.

Abstract

Children with special needs (ABK) are children who have obstacles in their development caused by internal and external factors. Autism is a congenital disorder that children experience from birth, where it affects the child's ability to communicate or speak, making it difficult for the child to communicate both verbally and non-verbally. Difficulty speaking experienced by autistic children hinders the child from interacting with people in the surrounding environment. Flashcard media is media that contains interesting and simple pictures that can help improve children's speaking skills. The aim of this research is to find out the influence of flashcard media on speaking abilities in autistic children. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The subject in this research was an autistic child with the initials A, a 5 year old male. The research results show that using flashcard media can improve speaking skills in autistic children.

Abstract

Cultural and religious diversity in Indonesia is one of the factors in the interaction between individuals with different backgrounds. This can also increase the possibility for the individual to have a dating relationship with an individual from a different group. Nowadays, many dating relationships are carried out by individuals who have different religions. The most important social support is from parents and family. Teenagers want to be cared for, cared for, loved and given support appropriate to the age at which teenagers are starting to develop. Apart from parental support, support from the environment is also very important, namely support from teachers, school friends, peers and neighbors. Social support can be applied to the adolescent environment, this support is related to children's academic needs, positive self-image, self-esteem, motivation and mental health. This research uses a library method by collecting information, analyzing and developing understanding from the information obtained. From the information obtained, it can be seen that the acceptance of love from different religions among teenagers is very closely related to the relationship between social support in the youth environment.

Abstract

Autistic children are children who experience growth and development disorders which have an impact on problems in optimal social, communication and emotional development. This research aims to ilustrate the role of teachers in improving the social skills of young autistic children at SLB TNCC Banda Aceh. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The subject of this research was an early-age autistic child who was in the Therapy class at TNCC SLB. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of the research show that there is a teacher's role as a facilitator, namely providing a platform for autistic children to improve the social development of autistic children at an early age through playing together as a form of interaction with friends around them at school. Teachers also provide stimulation that suits the needs of autistic children.

Abstract

Speech delay is a term in English which means delay in speaking.Children who experience speech delay can have an impact on aspects of the child’s language development, thus also having an impact on the child’s social interaction abilities. This research using qualitative methods aims to find out the impact of children experiencing speech delay, and the role of teachers in handling children’s social interactions in Nasywa special therapy. The subjects of this research were a teacher and a 5 year old child who experienced speech delay. This type of qualitative descriptive research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. The results of the research show that children are still not able to pronounce sentences clearly so that teachers can handle children’s interactions by responding and stimulating, using educational game tools such as puzzles, teaching children to practice pronouncing existing letters, teachers also provide additional learning that is equivalent to know more words, write letters, and communicate.

Abstract

Lack of learning tools is one of the obstacles that is often faced, especially the lack of training related to the curriculum and the minimal availability of teaching aids is a challenge for teachers in AUD units at this time. According to the Principal of PAUD Kasih Bunda, the teacher's teaching and learning process also tends to be monotonous so that learning success is less effective and efficient. In this digital era, it is not uncommon for parents to give AUD access to gadgets which actually have negative effects. The approach used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. As a result of the implementation of community service carried out by the team, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) PAUD educators in Buntut Village, Bali still do not understand and implement quality early childhood education through 9 elements; 2) The strategy of teaching staff in designing, choosing methods, determining techniques and approaches to early childhood learning is very important for developing and honing children's logical thinking abilities. The method chosen must be creative, fun, free from pressure so that it is easy for students to apply.

Abstract

This research aims to compare several aspects of research results between 2019 and 2024. The method used is Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Social behavior is closely related to children's behavior in adapting to the rules of society in the surrounding environment. A person's social behavior can be seen from the reciprocal relationships between each individual through the positive response patterns of each party. To determine someone who has a social spirit, their behavior must reflect the achievement of the socialization process between relationships, meanwhile individual personnel who have a non-social personality will be seen from their behavior as not achieving the socialization process within their social circle. Our research problem is how much influence parents' parenting styles have on the development of children's social behavior, so that positive interactions are needed for children, such as emotional support and effective communication. This research aims to determine the influence of parenting patterns on the social behavior of early childhood. In this research, the results of the discussion can be seen through the effect size of 6 previous studies. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between parenting styles and the social behavior of early childhood. The facts show that parenting style has the highest result, namely 4.378, and parental involvement in the field of social behavior education has a medium result, namely 0.507

Abstract

This research aims to analyze parents' perceptions of gadget use in early childhood. The aim of this research is to determine parents' perceptions of gadget use in early childhood. The method used is meta-analysis, by describing the results of analysis from various studies that have been published nationally in Indonesia, then calculating the effect size. The research sample consisted of ten articles published in accredited national journals in the 2019-2024 period.
