Abstract

Art learning is a child's education that focuses on the development of visual intelligence, also known as visual intelligence. In this context, children are encouraged to have the ability to understand objects thoroughly and in detail. The purpose of this research is to provide an understanding to teachers that the benefits of fine arts are very beneficial for early childhood, this research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data review from case studies, literature studies, and books as reference references. The results of this study are in the benefits of fine arts for early childhood can develop children's Fine Motor Skills, develop Imagination and Creativity through fine arts, Increase Problem Solving Skills and Increase Emotional Intelligence.

Abstract

Professional teachers are very important in early childhood education. However, PAUD teachers often do not prioritize teaching skills, which becomes a problem. This research discusses the professionalism of PAUD teachers in the learning process using descriptive qualitative methods to find solutions. Teachers must be teachers and motivators who are responsible for shaping children's personalities and have mature skills and preparation before teaching. In conclusion, professional teachers are those who have expertise and skills in educating early childhood children and creating a fun and interesting learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Finger printing comes from English, involving the use of fingers as a tool to apply paint directly to a surface. This method allows children to freely express themselves by applying a mixture of colored paint to the designated area. The focus of this research is to determine the effect of finger painting activities with natural materials on the fine motor development of group B children at YPK Pniel Malawele Kindergarten, Sorong Regency. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, data collection methods include observation, interviews and documentation. Findings from observations and interviews conducted in Kindergarten showed that, among 10 children, 6 children showed a high level of fine motor skill development, while 4 children were at an early stage of development. This gap is caused by different levels of teacher guidance and attention, as well as irregular attendance in learning activities. Therefore, it can be concluded that finger painting activities, especially if facilitated effectively, can make a big contribution to improving fine motor skills in children.

Abstract

Speech and language skills involve cognitive, sensorimotor, psychological, emotional and environmental development. Children with speech delay are at risk for language development, communication, learning, and other cognitive abilities. This study observed speech delay cases at PAUD Harsya Ceria Banda Aceh to understand the development of children with speech delay problems in their social behavior. The purpose of this study is to analyze the description of the development of children with speech delay on children's social skills at PAUD Harsya Ceria. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that internal and external factors such as genetics, family environment, parental education, and gadget use affect speech delay in children. Speech delay therapy using the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) method can improve children's social skills. Consistent stimulation from teachers and parents has a positive impact on children's language development. Joint efforts from parents, teachers and therapists are needed to facilitate the language and social development of children with speech delays so that they can improve their language and social skills.

Abstract

Silaban, Rosa. 2023. "The Effect of Direct Instruction Gymnastics on the Gross Motor Development of Children Aged 5-6 Years in the Smart Ceria Tapian Nauli Kindergarten, Sipoholon District". The aim of this research is to determine the effect of direct instruction gymnastics in the gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years at the Smart Ceria Tapian Nauli Kindergarten, Sipoholon sub-district. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental design type of research in the form of "One Shot Case Study". The population is all group B students (aged 5-6 years) at the Smart Ceria Tapian Nauli Kindergarten for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 42 children and a sample of 20 people was taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 20 items, namely 10 items for variable Ceria Tapian Nauli, Sipoholon District is known through: 1) Test of analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy = 0.687 > rtable(=0.05,n=20) = 0.444 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable ) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 47.2%. 2) Influence test: Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="17.24"+0.49X. Abstract

Simamora, Mely. 2023. "The Effect of Using Audio Visual Media on the Language Ability of Children Aged 5-6 Years in PAUD Ronatama." Thesis: Tarutung State Christian Institute PK-AUD Study Program. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on language skills in children aged 5-6 years in Ronatama Early Childhood Education, Doloksanggul District. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental design type of research in the form of "One Shot Case Study". The population is all children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Ronatama, Doloksanggul subdistrict, totaling 20 children. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 10 items for variable Lesson 2023/2024: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test a positive relationship, obtain a value of rxy = 0.668 > rtable= 0.444, so it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Test a significant relationship, obtain a value of tcount = 3.811 > ttable 2.101, thus there is a significant relationship between variable 9.89"+0.72X. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the serial story method on increasing the vocabulary of early childhood at the ABCD Sipoholon Mandiri Kindergarten. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with descriptive statistics. The population was all children at the Mandiri ABCD Sipoholon Kindergarten, totaling 108 people and a sample of 20 children was determined. Data was collected using an observation sheet of 30 items. The result of data analysis show that there is an influence of the serial story method on increasing the vocabulary of early childhood at the ABCD Sipoholon Mandiri Kindergarten : 1) Test analysis requirements: a) Positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0.658 > rtable( a=0.05,n=20) = 0.444, thus it is know that there is a positive relationship between variabel X and variabel Y. b) a significant relationship test was obtained thitung=3,711>ttabel(α=0,05,dk=n-2=18)= 2,101 thus there is a significant relationship between variabel X and variabel Y. c) regression coefficient of determination test (r2)=43,3%. 2) influence test: regression equation test, the regression equation is obtained . Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

"The Relationship between the Thread Pulling Technique and the Fine Motor Development of Early Childhood Group A at the Beringin Permai Kindergarten Perumnas Fence Banyan". The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between the thread pulling technique activity and the fine motor development of early childhood group A children aged 4-5 years at the Beringin Permai Perumnas Pagar Beringin Kindergarten. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative research method. The research population was all 25 children at the Beringin Permai Perumnas Pagar Beringin Kindergarten. Data were collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 10 items for variable : 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0.641 > rtable (a=0.05,n=25) = 0.396, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of tcount= 4.006 > ttable(a=0.05, dk=n-2=23)= 2.069, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. c) Test the regression coefficient of determination (r2) = 41.1%.2) Influence test: Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="15","57"+0.52X. Thus, Ha is that there is a relationship between the thread pulling technique activity and the fine motor development of early childhood children in group A aged 4-5 years at the Beringin Permai Kindergarten Perumnas Pagar Beringin and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Children with visual impairments face challenges in developing independence in daily activities such as eating and drinking. This study, conducted at TK Sarena Jaya, aimed to analyze the independence skills of visually impaired children in eating and drinking. The findings revealed that visual impairment can lead to social barriers, self-doubt, and dependency on others. Strategies such as providing safe movement stimulation, developing orientation skills, and promoting self-confidence were identified as crucial in supporting these children. Additionally, the use of assistive technologies and social education for both children and society were highlighted as essential for enhancing independence and social integration. Overall, a holistic approach is necessary to empower visually impaired children to navigate daily tasks independently and thrive socially.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years through the application of science games. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles. Each cycle has three meetings and four stages are carried out, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this research were children aged 5-6 years at Eklesia Sabkiki PAUD, Nule Village, South Central Timor Regency, 2021/2022 Academic Year, with a total of 15 children. Data collection techniques use observation data, interviews, tests and documentation. Data analysis in this research uses quantitative data analysis and qualitative data analysis, namely interactive data analysis. The results of this classroom action research show an increase in children's cognitive abilities in each cycle. The percentage of pre-action completion was 33.33% with 5 children completing it. In cycle I it increased with a percentage of 60% or 9 children who completed, and in cycle II with a percentage of 80% or 12 children who completed. Based on the results of classroom action research carried out in two cycles, it can be concluded that through the application of science games, it can improve the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years in Eklesia Sabkiki PAUD students, Nule Village, District. South Central Timor 2021/2022 Academic Year
