Abstract

This study focuses on the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) regarding the efficacy of the use of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in diagnosing and assessing musculoskeletal disorders. The methodology used involves collecting and analyzing data from various previously published studies. Strict inclusion criteria are applied to ensure the relevance and quality of the reviewed studies. Out of a total of 120 articles identified, 10 articles met the criteria and were included in the analysis. The results of the SLR show that MRI is a highly effective diagnostic tool, providing a detailed picture of bone structure, soft tissue, and cartilage without the need for radiation exposure. The study also found that MRI has high sensitivity and specificity in identifying various types of musculoskeletal disorders, including but not limited to arthritis, ligament injuries, and tendon ruptures. What's more, MRI supports early diagnosis which helps in designing a precise and personalized treatment plan, potentially reducing the patient's recovery time. From this analysis, we recommend a wider use of MRI in musculoskeletal clinical practice. However, more research is needed to optimize the protocol and reduce the associated costs, thereby expanding its accessibility across various medical settings.

Abstract

Higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) are a student's abilities that include logical and reasoning abilities, analysis, evaluation, and creation. This study aims to identify the development of instruments for assessing higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in Physics in high school. This review uses a qualitative approach by examining journals from 2016 to 2020. Based on the results of the analysis, show that one form of assessment developed is test questions with multiple choice, reasoned multiple choice, and description-type instruments. The test questions were developed to pay attention to HOTS, KKO indicators, physics, and stimulus problems, as well as Bloom's taxonomy. The materials that are widely developed are temperature and heat, harmonic vibrations, and static and dynamic fluids. The methods often used in this development research are the R&D method from Brog and Gall, the 4D method, the qualitative descriptive method, and the ADDIE method. The HOTS instrument is carried out through a feasibility test and analysis process, including through a validity test by a validator, reliability test, difficulty level test, differential power test, Rasch model analysis, analysis using Cronbach's Alpha formula, and question distractor test. The results of this study are an illustration of important points related to how to develop instruments for assessing higher-order thinking skills(HOTS) in Physics in high school

Abstract

Hypertension generally occurs in advanced age, but some studies suggest that hypertension can appear as early as adolescence and its prevalence has increased over the past few decades. However, many do not realize that it is the cause of hypertension in adults and the elderly. This study aims to determine the prevalence of hypertension in adolescents at the Sudiang Raya Health Center, Makassar City. The method used is carried out by observation with a Cross Sectional approach. The research sample was 147 adolescents using Two Stage Cluster Sampling. Data collection using questionnaires, measurements of weight, height and blood pressure. The data were analyzed univariately using a frequency distribution table. The results of the study obtained 73 male respondents (49.7%) and 74 female respondents (50.3%). Most (77.6%) of the respondents had a moderate level of knowledge. The results of blood pressure measurements showed that as many as 9 people (6.1%) were in the stage 2 hypertension category, as many as 18 people (12.2%) were in the stage 1 hypertension category, as many as 22 people (15.0%) were in the pre-hypertension category and as many as 98 people (66.7%) had normal blood pressure. Conclusion: The results showed that one-third of the respondents already had hypertension.

Abstract

In the era of knowledge-based economy, talent management is a key element in improving organizational competitiveness. This research aims to identify effective strategies in attracting and retaining the best talent amid dynamic changes in the labor market. Through a qualitative approach and case studies on leading companies, this study explores the key factors that influence talent's decision to join and stay in an organization. The results show that a work environment that supports innovation, sustainable career development, and competitive compensation policies are the main factors in talent management. In addition, the company's ability to build an inclusive and collaboration-based work culture has also proven to play an important role in retaining high-quality talent. These findings provide guidance for organizations to design more effective talent management strategies in the context of a knowledge-based economy.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in management accounting through a meta-analysis approach. The Balanced Scorecard is a strategic tool used to measure a company's performance from various perspectives, including finance, customers, internal business processes, and learning and growth. This meta-analysis integrates the results of previous research to provide a comprehensive picture of how BSC affects managerial and organizational performance. The results show that the implementation of BSC significantly contributes to increasing management effectiveness, especially in aligning the company's strategy with operational goals, improving the quality of decision-making, and strengthening managerial accountability with an effect size value of 1,042 (high effect size category). Nonetheless, this study also identifies several factors that can affect the successful implementation of BSC, such as organizational culture, management commitment, and information system quality. These findings have important implications for practitioners and academics in evaluating the benefits and challenges of BSC in the context of management accounting.

Abstract

Sexual violence against children is a serious problem that threatens the safety and well-being of the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the integrated justice system as an effort to prevent sexual violence against children in Indonesia. The integrated justice system integrates various institutions, including the police, prosecutor's office, courts, and child protection services, to ensure comprehensive protection for children as potential victims. This study uses a case study approach with a focus on policy implementation at the national and regional levels, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of collaboration between institutions in preventing sexual violence against children. The results show that although the integrated justice system has been well designed, there are still challenges in coordination between institutions, policy understanding at the local level, and limited resources that affect the effectiveness of prevention. The recommendations of this study include strengthening the capacity of related institutions, increasing coordination between institutions, and wider socialization about the importance of protecting children from sexual violence. Thus, it is hoped that the implementation of an integrated justice system can be an effective solution in preventing sexual violence against children in Indonesia.

Abstract

This meta-analysis investigates the effects of collaborative learning approaches within the framework of educational management and their impact on student performance. Collaborative learning, as a student-centered instructional method, has been widely adopted across various educational levels and settings. However, its effectiveness in enhancing academic achievement remains a topic of debate. This study synthesizes findings from 12 empirical studies conducted between 2022-2024, covering primary, secondary, and higher education contexts globally. Using a random-effects model, the meta-analysis quantifies the overall effect size of collaborative learning approaches on student performance, while accounting for variations in geographical region, subject matter, and educational level. The results reveal a high to strong positive effect of collaborative learning on student academic performance (mean effect size = 0.819). Additionally, subgroup analyses show that the impact is more pronounced in subjects requiring higher-order thinking skills, such as science and mathematics, and in educational settings where collaborative learning is systematically supported by institutional management. The analysis also highlights key factors that influence the success of collaborative learning, including group dynamics, teacher facilitation, and the integration of technology.
