Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the external and internal environment, including opportunities, challenges, strengths, and weaknesses, regarding the Digital Marketing Strategy for Mangrove Ecotourism towards SDG 8.3 at Rawa Aopa Watumohai National Park. This research method utilizes a qualitative approach with SWOT analysis. Findings reveal that the Park supports various training and capacity-building activities for local entrepreneurs around the Park, reflecting the local community's enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, thus establishing a connection between SDG 8.3 and the Park. Weaknesses include the need for improvement in the quantity of tourism facilities, transportation, public infrastructure, and internet connectivity. Opportunities arise from leveraging social media for optimal promotion of tourism locations to attract tourists. Threats stem from competition with similar tourist destinations, potentially reducing visitor numbers. Additionally, climate change and threats to species diversity in the park necessitate better management planning.

Abstract

Aloin has many benefits potential as a medicine. However, it is necessary to carry out toxicity tests on experimental animals as a pre-screening test. Toxic effect parameters were seen from changes in body weight, tremors, convulsions, salivation, weakness, walking backward, walking on the stomach, death, and levels of SGOT and SGPT in experimental animals. This study aims to evaluate the in vivo acute aloin toxicity test results in mice (Mus Musculus) regarding potential toxic symptoms and animal death. A sample of 27 mice were separated into three groups for this investigation: the control group, the treatment group I at a dose of 2500 µg/kg BW, and the treatment group II at an amount of 5000 µg/kg BW, and 5 mice in the preliminary test. This study employed a laboratory experimental test method using a pre-post control group design study. Based on observations of experimental animals, it concluded neither the preliminary test nor the toxicity test revealed any toxic signs. Neither the initial test nor the toxicity test resulted in any observed animal fatalities. Before and after aloin administration, changes in body weight were significantly different. Treatment group II, treatment group I, and the control group's SGOT levels were classified from highest to lowest, with subsequent values of 22.4 U/L, 21.9 U/L, and 19.9 U/L. The highest value of 35.7 U/L, 32.1 U/L, and 26.2 U/L in the treatment groups II, I, and the control group was used to rank the SGPT levels. There were no toxic symptoms and no mortality in experimental animals, so it can be concluded that aloin did not cause harmful effects in mice, so it was categorized as a pseudo-lethal dose.

Abstract

Squid cartilage (Loligo sp.) is known to contain chitosan compounds that have antibacterial activity. This study aims to formulate chitosan from squid cartilage (Loligo sp.) in the form of handwash preparations with concentrations of 0.1%, 0.2%, and 0.3% which are physically and chemically stable, and see the optimum concentration in inhibiting bacterial growth. The method used is laboratory experiments through three stages of extraction, namely deproteination, demineralization, and deacetylation as well as physical quality tests and ability tests before and after cycling tests which include organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, pH tests, viscosity tests, foam height tests and antibacterial activity tests against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria by the method of sumuran. The results obtained based on the ANOVA test on Staphylococcus aureus bacteria are 0.000 and on Escherichia coli bacteria are 0.000. Chitosan from squid cartilage (Loligo sp.) can be formulated in the form of a handwash preparation and the most effective concentration in inhibiting Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli is a concentration of 0.3%.

Research on factors that influence fish traders' income is still limited regarding business experience and business analysis carried out by fish traders. The importance of analyzing the factors that influence fish traders' income cannot be underestimated in the context of fisheries economics in increasing the per capita income of fish traders in Indonesia. Therefore, this research aims to analyze which factors have the most influence on fish traders' income, with the variables Capital (x1), Trading Time (x2), and Selling Time Allocation (x3). Determining respondents in the study used a purposive sampling method, namely fish traders in the Sedati District area, Sidoarjo. The number of respondents will be determined using the Slovin method, and the data obtained will be analyzed using the multiple linear analysis method. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS application and showed that the capital variable (x1) was proven to have a positive influence on fish income in the Sedati District area, with a t table value of 2,233 > 1.697 t count and a sig value = 0.033 < 0.05 so that Ha was accepted. The conclusion of this research is that the capital variable (x1) has a real influence on the income of fish earners in Sedati District. This research is useful for the community, especially fish traders, that sufficient capital is the most influential thing in obtaining income, because the greater the capital used, the greater the income obtained.

Abstract

The protection of banking customer data is increasingly important along with the advancement of information technology and the adoption of electronic banking services by the public. Although Law No. 8/1999 on Consumer Protection (UUPK) already exists, it only regulates consumer protection in general and does not specifically regulate the protection of banking customer data. In practice, the implementation of the GCPL is also limited due to the lack of sanctions for customer data breaches. Therefore, this paper examines the international standard personal data regulation that refers to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to understand more about customer data protection. This paper aims to analyze the legal protection provided to banking customer data in the context of Law No. 8/1999 on Consumer Protection. By examining the provisions of the law, this paper attempts to evaluate the extent to which the existing regulations have been able to effectively protect banking customer data. The analysis shows that although Law No. 9/1999 provides a legal basis for consumer protection in general, the specific protection of banking customer data still needs to be strengthened through more specific regulations and more effective law enforcement mechanisms
