Abstract

Social distancing as a measure to prevent the spread of disease has significantly changed the paradigm of social interaction in society. The impact is visible in various aspects of daily life, including interpersonal relationships, social activities, and community dynamics. This research discusses the impact of social distancing on social interactions in society. First, social distancing practices change the way individuals communicate. Physical restrictions have caused a shift from face-to-face interactions to virtual interactions via digital platforms. Although technology has made connectivity possible, some people have difficulty expressing emotions and building deep relationships in virtual environments. Second, social distancing also affects people's social life. Social events which are usually places for meetings and cultural exchanges have had to be canceled or adjusted to comply with health protocol regulations. This can cause a breakdown in social ties and a lack of sense of solidarity among community members. Apart from that, the economic impact can also be felt socially. Restrictions on economic activities result in reduced incomes and increased uncertainty, which can trigger stress and tension in social relationships. Economically vulnerable groups of society suffer more from these restrictions. In this context, it is important for society to find new ways to establish and maintain healthy social relationships. Strengthening virtual communication, innovation in social activities, and mental support are the keys to overcoming the negative impact of social distancing on social interactions in society. Adopting a qualitative approach, this research involves in-depth interviews, participant observation, and social media content analysis to understand changes in interaction patterns as social distancing is implemented. Key findings include paradigm shifts in forms of social interaction, psychological impacts on individuals, and adaptation strategies used by society to maintain connectivity. The results of this research provide in-depth insight into the dynamics of social change amidst the pandemic, providing a basis for formulating better policies in dealing with similar situations in the future. By documenting people's experiences, this research has the potential to contribute to our collective understanding of social adaptation during crises in society.

Abstract

Plastic remains dominant in everyday life in Indonesia, favored for its affordability and long-lasting properties. However, the negative impact is seen through non-biodegradable plastic waste which damages the environment and causes the transfer of toxic compounds. Various efforts to deal with plastic waste, such as burning and burial, produce new problems. The lack of public knowledge and awareness highlights the importance of education in managing plastic waste. This research aims to reveal the situation of plastic waste processing, with a theoretical review of previous research, literature study methodology, and the potential for creativity in managing plastic waste. The research method uses literature study and observation techniques to collect information. The result of this research is a product created with economic value from plastic waste. Apart from reducing plastic waste, these creative products can also increase people's income, because the products produced can be sold at high prices.

Abstract

Early age is the initial phase of a child's development which will determine development in the next phase. Child development in the early phase is divided into 4 aspects of functional abilities, namely gross motor skills, fine motor skills and vision, speech and language, and social emotions and behavior.  If there is a deficiency in one aspect of this ability, it can affect the development of other aspects.  This research uses a critical review method, which involves careful examination and evaluation of various sources of information, such as scientific journals, articles and other media.  The main goal of this approach is to improve the reader's understanding and interpretation skills in the context of early childhood development, as well as offering a critical assessment of the material reviewed.  In addition, a critical review requires identifying important topics in the literature, analyzing the methodology used, and evaluating the strengths and limitations of the sources studied.  Socialization development is the development needed in training children's socialization of their environment. Cognitive development in early childhood is called the pre-operational stage.  At this stage stable concepts are formed, mental reasoning appears, egocentrism begins to strengthen, and belief in magical things is formed. According to Jean Piaget, moral development, early childhood is characterized by 'morality through coercion'.
