Abstract

One of the main issues facing brand managers today is giving consumers memorable and unique experiences to establish a solid rapport between the company and its customers. As a result, strategies for experiential marketing that engage all senses have grown in popularity. Nevertheless, the creation of multimodal brand experiences that provide customers a high perceived value and produce strong, long-lasting brand strength is not well understood. We carried out an empirical study in the distinctive service industry of luxury hotels, which offers a good example for learning about an approach that appeals to all senses, in order to better understand the causal relationships between multisensory marketing, brand experience, customer perceived value, and brand strength. Our study's findings provide credence to the idea that creating brand experiences through multimodal marketing is crucial. Both significantly influence brand strength and are crucial factors in determining how much a client thinks a brand is worth. Furthermore, by revealing the causal structure, brand strength may be developed by understanding which aspects of customer perceived value—financial, functional, social, and personal—are most impacted by brand experience and multimodal marketing. Consequently, the findings provide fascinating guidance for developing successful experience marketing.

Abstract

This study examines the role of learning satisfaction in mediating the influence of interpersonal communication, self-efficacy, and motivation on work readiness among students of the Faculty of Economics, Bhayangkara University Surabaya. The research addresses the challenge of how higher education institutions can better prepare graduates for the labor market by identifying the psychological and behavioral factors that shape employability. A quantitative research design was applied using a survey method. Data were collected from 210 students through a structured questionnaire, and the analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypothesized relationships. The results indicate that interpersonal communication, self-efficacy, and motivation positively influence learning satisfaction and work readiness. However, learning satisfaction does not significantly mediate the relationship between these predictors and work readiness. These findings suggest that while satisfaction with learning contributes to employability outcomes, it is not the sole mechanism through which personal and interpersonal factors affect work readiness. Additional experiential and contextual factors, such as internships, soft skills development, and practical exposure, may play a stronger role. This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence from the Indonesian higher education context, highlighting the limited mediating role of learning satisfaction. Practically, the findings underscore the importance for universities to enhance not only the quality of learning experiences but also to integrate work-based learning and career development programs to strengthen students' readiness for the workplace.

Abstract

Purpose – This research investigates the extent to which situational factors drive organisational deviance and explores the mediating influence of organisational culture among employees in the public sector. Aim(s) – The objective was to identify key predictors of deviant workplace behaviour within public service organisations and to examine how organisational culture moderates the impact of these predictors. Design/methodology/approach – Adopting a quantitative research strategy, the study applied a cross-sectional survey design with 250 respondents. Data analysis utilized regression techniques alongside structural equation modeling to test the mediating role of organizational culture. Findings – Results from the structural equation modeling demonstrate that perceived injustice, heightened stress, and inadequate support contribute significantly to workplace deviance. Specifically, organizational injustice and work-related stress emerged as strong predictors of deviant behavior, while organizational culture mediated the effects of these variables. Limitations of the study – The findings may be affected by sampling error and potential response bias due to reliance on self-reported data. Furthermore, the exclusive focus on public service limits the generalizability of the conclusions to other sectors. Practical implications and Originality/value – The study enhances existing scholarship on the mediating function of organizational culture in deviant workplace behavior. It further illustrates how fostering a strong organizational culture can serve as a mechanism to mitigate or prevent workplace deviance among employees tasked with implementing organizational policies

Abstract

Purpose - The growing adoption of remote work has raised important questions regarding the role of human resource management (HRM) practices in safeguarding employee well-being. While well-being-oriented HRM has been recognized as an essential framework for supporting happiness, health, and social connectedness in traditional organizational settings, its relevance in remote work arrangements remains ambiguous. The reduced physical presence and visibility of employees in remote contexts may diminish the effectiveness of such practices, thereby warranting a deeper empirical investigation. Aims - This study seeks to examine whether well-being-oriented HRM maintains its capacity to enhance employee well-being in remote working environments, as compared to conventional, on-site contexts. More specifically, it aims to evaluate how distinct domains of well-being-oriented HRM are associated with different facets of employee well-being—including psychological well-being (happiness, job satisfaction, and engagement), physical well-being (strain and health), and relational well-being (social connectedness). Additionally, the moderating role of remote work intensity is assessed to determine whether variations in the extent of remote work influence these relationships. Design - The empirical analysis was conducted using a two-wave dataset collected from 258 Indonesian state-owned manufacturing enterprises. By differentiating between remote and non-remote work settings, the study applies a comparative lens to assess both the direct associations of well-being-oriented HRM with well-being outcomes and the potential moderating influence of remote work intensity. This approach allows for a nuanced understanding of how HRM practices function across varying organizational work arrangements. Findings - The results indicate that well-being-oriented HRM continues to exert a positive influence on employee well-being in remote work contexts, particularly in terms of happiness (engagement and job satisfaction) and health (strain reduction). However, variations emerge across domains of HRM, as certain practices appear more effective in enhancing happiness and health-related outcomes than others.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT. Bank Jatim using the common size method based on its financial statements for the period 2023-2024. The research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach with secondary data derived from audited financial reports. The common size method was applied to both the balance sheet and income statement to evaluate changes in the proportion of assets, liabilities, equity, revenues, and expenses relative to their totals. The results indicate that PT. Bank Jatim experienced consistent growth in total assets, primarily driven by the expansion of third-party receivables. On the liabilities side, third-party funds (DPK) also showed a steady increase, reflecting strong public trust and the effectiveness of the bank’s funding strategies. Meanwhile, the income statement analysis revealed that operating revenues, dominated by loan interest income, demonstrated growth; however, operational expenses—particularly administrative and personnel costs—also increased, exerting slight pressure on net income margins. Overall, the findings suggest that PT. Bank Jatim maintained sound financial performance throughout the study period, with healthy asset growth and revenue generation. Nonetheless, the rising trend in operational expenses highlights the importance of improving cost efficiency. This study recommends that PT. Bank Jatim adopt stricter cost control measures, diversify revenue sources beyond loan interest income, strengthen its capital base, and accelerate digital transformation to enhance competitiveness.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of brand experience, brand associations, and brand quality on loyalty intention and repurchase intention among online consumers, with brand trust and brand love serving as mediating variables. A survey was administered to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at five public universities in Northern India. The findings reveal that while brand experience, brand associations, and brand quality do not significantly influence loyalty intention, they exert a positive effect on repurchase intention. Furthermore, the results demonstrate that brand satisfaction influences affective commitment, whereas brand trust affects both affective and continuance commitment. Affective commitment is found to positively influence repurchase intention and loyalty, while continuance commitment does not exhibit a significant effect on these outcomes.

Abstract

Businesses today must be flexible and creative in order to adapt to the ever-changing business circumstances. This study suggests that IT-enabled Dynamic Capabilities (ITDC) are used to shape firm business process agility and firm innovative capabilities in a turbulent environment. It does this by drawing on the multi-theoretic lens. The suggested model has a favorable and significant correlation, according to a study of 254 IT and business professionals from Indonesia’s companies. The relationship between ITDC and agility is greatly tempered by marketing and technological upheaval. Comparably, marketing turbulence is also significantly mild. However, in contrast to expectations, technological turbulence has a negligible moderating influence on the link between ITDC and business inventive capabilities. This study demonstrates how firm agility and innovative capability mitigate the impact of ITDC on business performance. Practical ramifications and theoretical anchoring are also covered.
