Abstract

According to WHO, the rate of sectio caesarean delivery in Indonesia is 15.3% of a sample of 20,591 mothers who gave birth in the last 5 years surveyed from 33 provinces. While in Central Java Province (2019) who have performed cesarean section delivery as much as 10.10%, while in government hospitals approximately 11% while private hospitals can be more than 30%. The purpose of the research is to provide comprehensive midwifery care services to pregnant women, postpartum women, newborns, postpartum mothers and family planning in a comprehensive manner through the midwifery management approach according to Varney and SOAP. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a field observational case study approach. The research results showed that based on comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs. U with a history of caesarean section during pregnancy found no problems. Mrs. U gave birth using a caesarean section because she had a history of caesarean section in a previous pregnancy and to prevent complications for the mother and baby. In the care of newborns, no problems were found. In postpartum care no problems were found. Mrs. U chose 3-month injectable birth control contraception. It can be concluded that comprehensive care provided appropriately by midwives is very important for the health of the mother and baby so that early detection of a history of caesarean section can prevent possible complications.

Abstract

Introduction: Colostrum is a part of breast milk (ASI) which has a characteristic yellowish liquid that comes out on the first to the third day after giving birth. Colostrum contains 10-17 times more immune substances than mature milk, so it is very good to give because it functions to form the baby's antibodies. Objective: To determine maternal knowledge, family support relationships, sources of information, the role of health workers, maternal behavior and how to provide colostrum by giving colostrum to newborns at the Cimanggu Community Health Center, Cibeber District, Cianjur Regency in 2023. Method: The research method used is descriptive with Cross Sectional Study approach. The sample in this study was postpartum mothers on days 1-4 with a total of 30 samples. This sample was taken using a purposive sampling method and the measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. Results: This study found a relationship between giving colostrum and family support (p=0.029), information sources (p=0.003), behavior (p=0.000). Meanwhile, there was no significance in maternal knowledge (p=.0966), the role of health workers (p=0.836), how to give colostrum (p=0.997) with colostrum. Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support, sources of information and behavior with giving colostrum and there is no relationship between mother's knowledge, the role of health workers and how to give colostrum with giving colostrum.

Abstract

Cataract patients may experience anxiety due to a decrease in the sense of vision of the eye. coupled with surgery to overcome cataracts can increase anxiety in patients. Relaxation is an alternative to reducing anxiety. Relaxation is often used to describe a pleasant exercise with relaxation techniques used. One of the relaxations that can be used is Benson relaxation, which is a relaxation approach that involves patient trust. This study aims to analyze the benson relaxation of elderly patients with cataracts at RSUD dr. H Jusuf SK. The research method is quasi-experiment design one group pretest-posttest with a total research sample of 20 respondents. The results of the Wilcoxon test with p <0.005 that there is a difference in the anxiety level of elderly patients with cataracts at RSUD dr H Jusuf SK with p <0.05. The conclusion of the study is that there is a difference in giving Benson relaxation to the anxiety of elderly patients with cataracts.

Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) is a natural food that is good for babies, practical, economical and easy to digest. The reason why babies need breast milk is because breast milk has benefits, one of which is that it has many advantages, it contains important substances, it can make babies develop optimally. Breast milk also plays a role in bringing closer spiritual closeness between mother and child. The first factor that influences breastfeeding failure is the mother's lack of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding (32%), namely mothers stop breastfeeding because breast milk production is low. Actually, this is not caused by the mother not producing enough breast milk but because of the mother's lack of knowledge. The second is caused by working mothers. The third is caused by the intensive promotion of formula milk. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of Marmet Massage on increasing breast milk products for postpartum mothers at the Tanjung Tiram Community Health Center, Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province in 2022. This research uses a quasi-experimental method (Quasi Experiment) with the approach used is a comparative design of control and intervention groups (One Group Post Test Design). to determine the effect of Marmet Massage on increasing breast milk products in postpartum mothers. In this study, the samples were all non-working mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months as many as 30 people with 15 people in each group who received marmet massage during the 1-4th day in a row followed by breast milk measurement for 30 minutes and The guinea pig technique was not carried out followed by breast milk measurement. Conclusion, Based on the results of research and data analysis that has been carried out regarding the Influence of the Marmet Technique on the Fluency of Mother's Milk in the Working Area of ​​the Tanjung Tiram Health Center, Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province in 2022, it can be concluded that: The Marmet Technique has a significant influence on the Fluency Breast milk. This is indicated by the results of the Wilcoxon test sig-p value (0.007) < 0.05

Abstract

Pregnancy is a process experienced by women all over the world. The pregnancy period starts from conception until the birth of the fetus, the duration of pregnancy (normal is 280 days (40 weeks or 9 months 7 days). Antenatal care is a health visit given to the mother during pregnancy in accordance with the specified antenatal care service guidelines. Antenatal care visits are visits by pregnant women to a midwife or doctor as early as possible since they feel they are pregnant to receive antenatal care/services. factors influencing the low number of first Antenatal Care (K1) visits in Durian Lingga Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency in 2022. This type of research is analytical observational research using a cross sectional approach, namely to analyze the factors that influence the low number of first antenatal care visits. In this study, the population was all pregnant women who had passed the first trimester and were willing to be interviewed. The total population obtained was 89 people (K1) in Durian Lingga Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency in 2022. Conclusion: The rate of first antenatal care visits for pregnant women in Durian Lingga Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency in 2022 is 39 people (48.1%). The variables knowledge, education, attitude and parity are variables that are related to the first Antenatal Care (ANC) visit in Durian Lingga Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency in 2022. Age and attitude variables of health workers are variables that are not related to the first Antenatal Care (ANC) visit in Durian Lingga Village. Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency in 2022.

Abstract

Motivation performance at RSI Ibnu Sina Payakumbuh is low, supported by results of interviews with the head of the inpatient ward who stated that motivation was low and performance was also low even though therewere some who stated that the performance of nurses was quit good, so the reseaarchers wanted to see therelationship between motivation and the performance ofnurses whose sample was 44 nurses. The design of thisresearch is a cross sectional study, with an analiytical observational approach, using a questionnaire to obtain research data and the type of research is quantitative. The data in this study is primary with total sampling. Dataanalysis teachningques used univariate and bivariate analysis, data processing using spss software and Microsoft excel.The results showed that as many as 28 nurses (64%) stated low motivation and 39 nurses (87%) stated low. Motivation and performance have a relationship, a significant value of 0.141 is smaller than 0.05mased on the results of these studies, it is expected that the management of RSI Ibnu Sina Payakumbuh pays moreattention to the motivation of nurses, motivation is a psychological factor to foster enthusiasm and motivation at work

Abstract

Background:Hand hygiene is an effective step to break the chain of infection transmission, so that nosocomial incidence can be reduced. Infection prevention and control absolutely must be carried out by nurses, doctors and all people involved in patient care. Nurses' hand hygiene behavior is one of the factors that has a big influence on preventing nosocomial infections in hospitals. At Hospital X in 2014 the proportion of phlebitis incidents was 6.5%. Phlebitis is a nosocomial infection. The results of observations of four nurses who carried out medical procedures, one of them did not wash his hands before and after carrying out procedures on patients, while the other three had already washed their hands. Research Objective: To determine the relationship between nurses' knowledge and attitudes about infections nosocomial with hand hygiene behavior at Hospital Data analysis used the Chi-square test with a confidence level of 95% (α= 0.05). Research Results: Characteristics of nurses at Hospital 56.7%). Most of them were women, namely 25 nurses (83.3%). The most work period is 1-5 years (56.7%). The highest level of education was D3 nursing (93.3%). Good knowledge about nosocomial infections was 26 nurses (86.7%). Most of the attitudes were positive, namely 27 (90.0%) nurses. Most of them had good hand hygiene behavior19 (63.3%). There is a relationship between nurses' knowledge about nosocomial infections and hand hygiene behavior with a p value of 0.012 (p<0.05). There is a relationship between nurses' attitudes and hand hygiene behavior p of 0.041 (p<0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between nurses' knowledge about nosocomial infections and hand hygiene behavior and there is a relationship between nurses' attitudes and hand hygiene behavior.

Abstract

This study examines correlation between parenting styles and stress levels among 6th-grade students at SDN 2 Sumber Kencono Wongsorejo prior to examinations. The study employed quantitative methods and utilized questionnaires as the primary means of collecting data. The sample was 35 6th-grade students who were about to take the exam, selected through purposive sampling. The findings show a correlation between the parenting style parents applied and the stress level experienced by children before the exam (p-value = 0.002). Students who experience democratic parenting tend to have lower stress levels compared to students who are educated with authoritarian, neglectful, or permissive parenting styles. This study concludes that parenting style is vital in determining children's stress levels before exams. Democratic style can help children manage stress more effectively. The findings are expected to be a reference for parents and schools in developing strategies to help children face stress before the exam. Abstract

Background, Nursing rounds are a form of nursing round method in providing nursing care in a team MAKP (Professional Nursing Care Model). This systematic round is statistically believed to be able to reduce the use of bells to call nurses, the possibility of patient falls, anxiety and increase patient satisfaction.Purpose, This literature review aims to identify and analyze the implementation and influence of Nursing Rounds in Hospitals.Methods,There were 14 journals used in the literature review. Journal searches are carried out through Four databases : Google Scholar, Crossref, ProQuest, Emerald Insight.Results, Analysis of the literature review shows that Nursing Rounds can be applied to inpatient rooms provided that team MAKP is used, there is cooperation between nurses, reducing workload because it can be adjusted to the implementation of nursing care.Conclusion, Nursing rounds are implemented in the inpatient room by fulfilling requirements such as using team MAKP, collaboration between nurses and implementation of nursing care.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a very important experience for a woman. Based on the journal Of Midwifery issued in 2020, it is stated that lower back pain is the most common complaint in the third trimester of pregnancy. Predisposing factors for back pain include uterine growth which causes changes in posture, weight gain, the influence of the relaxin hormone on ligaments, previous history of back pain, parity and activity. Research Objective: to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation on lower back pain in third trimester pregnant women at the Malifut Community Health Center. This type of research is experimental research involving one group of subjects with a pre-experimental approach, one group pretest posttest design. The respondents for this research were 30 people. Purposive sampling technique. Results: This study showed that 30 respondents who had not been treated with progressive muscle relaxation techniques experienced moderate pain as many as 18 people (60%) and experienced mild pain as many as 12 people (40%). Shows that 30 people (100%) experienced a reduction in pain. The results after it was discovered that the Wilcoxon test was carried out above the P value = 0.000 (< 0.05) so that there was a significant difference between lower back pain before the relaxation intervention was given. Advice for pregnant women who experience levels of pain is to carry out progressive muscle relaxation to reduce the level of lower back pain
