Abstract

This study aims to analyze promotional media on Instagram at Pohaci Mocktail Bar. The research method used is a qualitative method with content analysis techniques. The research data was obtained from the Pohaci Mocktail Bar Instagram account. The results of the study show that Pohaci Mocktail Bar uses various promotional media on Instagram, such as photos, videos, and stories. The promotional content uploaded by Pohaci Mocktail Bar on Instagram is interesting and informative, and is able to increase brand awareness and engagement with its followers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of leadership communication style on the loyalty of SD Bonavita employees. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study is a number of employees of SD Bonavita, which is 39 respondents. The theory used in this study is the Activation Theory of Information Exposure. The results of the study found that the Leadership Communication Style had a partial effect on the loyalty of SD Bonavita employees. The results of the Coefficient of Determination Test found that Communication Style affected Employee Loyalty by 0.902 or 90.2%, indicating that the Influence of Communication Style on Employee Loyalty of SD Bonavita was 90.2%, while 9.8% was influenced by other factors, which means that the influence was very strong.

Abstract

DISPORA South Sumatra or known as the Youth Agency is a government agency that focuses on working on the development of young people, youth groups, especially those in South Sumatra. by having an interactive podcast program, namely “NGOPIPORA” which stands for smart chat around DISPORA, this program is a work program that focuses on the media department in the agency which discusses inspirational stories from successful and accomplished young people. DISPORA South Sumatra certainly has a strategy in running its program. This is what makes researchers interested in conducting research with the title DISPORA South Sumatra's strategy in inspiring young people on the NGOPIPORA program as well as to find out the strategies used by DISPORA South Sumatra in inspiring young people and attracting young listeners through the NGOPIPORA podcast program, with the aim of knowing the strategies used by DISPORA South Sumatra in inspiring young people and attracting young listeners through the NGOPIPORA podcast program. This research is a type of research that uses qualitative research methods with descriptive analysis, there are two data sources in this study, namely primary data in the form of 3 informants and secondary data derived from archival documents. This research uses interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection tools and uses the Miles and Huberman model data analysis technique. While the theory used in this research is the theory developed by Susan Tyler Eastman which dissects the broadcast programming strategy in a media into 5 stages, namely compatibility strategy, habbit formation strategy, control of audience flow, conservation of program resources, and breadth of appeal. The results of the study concluded that DISPORA South Sumatra in the strategy of inspiring young people and attracting young people's listening interest through the NGOPIPORA podcast program is to adjust the program based on existing needs and momentum, besides that it also utilizes the latest technology in disseminating its programs ranging from live delay streaming YouTube, social media promotion and scheduled program promotion.

Abstract

Currently, Instagram social media plays an important role as a social media platform and has become a means of marketing communication for companies. Specifically for coffee shop businesses such as Kopilikasi, the research entitled "The Role of Instagram Social Media on the Sales of Beverage Products at Kopilikasi Cafe, Pangeran Jayakarta, Bekasi" has a research objective, namely to find out whether social media plays an important role in marketing activities at Kopilikasi cafes and to find out the content that attracts audiences on Instagram social media. . This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data sources in this research used interviews, observation and documentation. The main theoretical basis in this research is New Media Theory. The results of this research are that Instagram plays an important role in sales at Kopilikasi Cafe. Copying attracts consumers' buying interest by creating content on Instagram. This content is used as a promotional tool containing information about Kopilikasi Cafe. Copylication has a characteristic in its content, namely creating content in a cinematic style. Based on the analysis, researchers draw conclusions, namely content that attracts copycat consumers' buying interest, namely content with copycat consumer objects because it has been proven to be successful in increasing the attention and interest of the audience on Instagram. Currently, Instagram plays an important role in the promotion and sales process of Kopilikasi Cafe and has succeeded in increasing sales and the content created has succeeded in attracting the attention of its audience on Instagram.

Abstract

The framing of Rocky Gerung's news as an alleged insult to state symbols in the media Kompas TV and CNN Indonesia. The research aims to determine the framing of Rocky Gerung's news regarding alleged insults to state symbols in the media Kompas TV and CNN Indonesia. Use of research: To increase insight into the analysis of news framing about Rocky Gerung, an insult to state symbols. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method, which is a form of qualitative research that aims to reveal facts, circumstances, phenomena, variables and situations that occurred during the research, by providing a clear picture. -explained: The problems studied in qualitative descriptive research can refer to quantitative studies, comparative studies, and can even be correlational studies between one element and another element of a natural object. analysis of the Kompas.com and CNN Indonesia reports regarding the alleged insult to state symbols by Rocky Gerung, it was concluded that there were significant differences in the approach to news framing between the two media. Kompas.com places greater emphasis on legal and political aspects, focusing on the legal steps taken by the party who reported Rocky Gerung. Meanwhile, CNN Indonesia put forward Rocky Gerung's clarification, emphasizing that his criticism was aimed at government policy. It is important for people who use the media to be smarter in reading the news. News is a construction created by the editors of tvoenenews.com and CNN Indonesia. News should not include the opinions of the parties reporting, but should focus on facts that are relevant to the event or issue being reported. The media must also pay attention to the 5W+1H (Who, What, When, Where, Why, How) elements in preparing news.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of gatekeepers in the selection of viral social media information published by Tribun Sumsel. In the context of journalism, gatekeepers function as parties who filter, select and assess the feasibility of information before being distributed to the public. The viral phenomenon on social media has provided wider access for users to share information quickly, thus increasing the challenge for the mass media in maintaining the quality and accuracy of news. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview and documentation methods to understand how Tribun Sumsel selects and verifies viral information on social media. Then the data is analyzed using Julian Wallace's Contemporary Gatekeeping Theory which is divided into three stages, namely access to information, the selection process, and the publication process. The results of this study Tribun Sumsel has gone through various stages that show the gatekeeping process involves tiered verification and in-depth content analysis to avoid the spread of hoax information. This is done to ensure that the news published has gone through applicable procedures and follows journalistic guidelines, even under the pressure of dynamic media competition.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the sense of nationalism of the Acehnese people after the conflict with the Free Aceh Movement (GAM), as well as finding out how the feeling of "belonging" towards Indonesia was re-formed after the 2005 Helsinki MoU. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literature studies from journals, books, and websites on this topic. The data in this research were analyzed using Realistic Conflict Theory introduced by Sherif, and Belongingness Theory by Beumeister and Leary. The results of this research are that this research shows that the GAM conflict occurred as a result of social, political and economic injustice felt by the people of Aceh. The Helsinki MoU was a turning point, allowing special autonomy and socio-political reintegration of Aceh. After the conflict, the Acehnese people's sense of nationalism and "belonging" began to recover through reconciliation, restoration of basic rights, and participation in local politics. However, challenges in strengthening the "belonging" principle remain, especially regarding economic disparities and trust in the central government. This research concludes that the diplomatic approach, international support, and autonomy policies contributed significantly to re-weaving the ties of Acehnese nationalism within the framework of the Indonesian state.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the differences in digital literacy of the community during the 2020 Bantul Pilkada campaign. Political campaigns have undergone significant transformations during the COVID-19 pandemic with increased use of digital technology and social media. However, gaps in knowledge and access to technology affect community participation in politics. This case study investigates how the digital divide affects the efficiency of political campaigns in Bantul, especially in terms of reaching voters with limited internet access. In addition, social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are effective campaign tools for reaching younger voters, but are less effective in reaching groups of people who are less digitally literate. To bridge the digital divide and encourage more inclusive political participation in the future, this study suggests efforts to improve digital infrastructure and technological literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan prinsip-prinsip good governance dalam fitur Laporan Warga pada aplikasi Jakarta Kini (JAKI) sebagai inovasi dalam pelayanan publik di DKI Jakarta. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis tinjauan literatur, penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas aplikasi JAKI dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas pemerintah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fitur Laporan Warga dapat memfasilitasi pelaporan masalah dengan lebih efisien dan responsif, serta mendukung transparansi melalui pemantauan laporan secara real-time. Namun, terdapat tantangan seperti ego sektoral antarinstansi, rendahnya literasi digital, dan keterbatasan aksesibilitas teknologi yang menghambat implementasi secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan koordinasi lintas sektoral, perbaikan infrastruktur teknologi, serta edukasi kepada masyarakat merupakan langkah strategis yang diperlukan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan aplikasi ini sebagai model e-government dalam pelayanan publik yang responsif, akuntabel, dan inklusif.

Abstract

Kajian ini muncul untuk menguraikan bagaimana Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) yang dilaksanakan oleh brand maskapai Pelita Air yang tergolong baru berkiprah pada jasa transportasi udara di Indonesia. Meskipun tergolong maskapai yang baru bersaing dipenerbangan domestik, Pelita Air mampu dikenal oleh masyarakat dengan sering muncul dipromosikan melalui instagram para penumpang yang telah menggunakan jasa brand tersebut. Penumpang maskapai Pelita Air memberikan review pengalaman yang cukup positif terkait Pelita Air sebagai maskapai dengan harga segmentasi medium, tepat waktu dan fasilitas pesawat yang nyaman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan netnografi mengumpulkan data-data dari suatu media sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin mengkaji dan memahami bagaimana komunikasi pemasaran terpadu (IMC) yang dilakukan oleh maskapai pelita air sebagai salah satu brand baru dalam dunia penerbangan di Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi menggunakan media internet dan literasi lain yang berkaitan dengan IMC. Keywords: Brand, IMC, Maskapai, New Media
