Abstract

Employee performance is very important to involve the company's progress, good performance involves good contributions. Leadership style is a person's ability to influence and provide guidance to individuals to achieve their goals. Work discipline is reflection and respect for each other, compliance with written and verbal rules, readiness to face the consequences of any violation of the responsibilities and authority assigned to them. This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style and work discipline on performance. This research also uses a quantitative statistical approach using the SPSS 25 application. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, observation and literature study. The research population was 45 and the sampling technique used saturation. The results of this research are that there is a partial influence of the leadership style variable on performance with a calculated T value of 3,503>2.017. There is a partial influence of the Work Discipline variable with a calculated T value of 2,186>2.017. There is a simultaneous influence with the leadership style and work discipline variables on performance with a calculated F value of 10.244>3.21

Abstract

Conflict is a situation where there are differences of opinion or interest between one individual and another individual. This research aims to describe conflict, conflict management, the importance of conflict management and the principles of conflict management in organizations, especially education. The type of research carried out is literature study. Data collection through books, accredited national journals related to research studies. The process of searching for articles and books via Google Scholar, collecting articles and books related to research studies, starting with 3 books with ISBNs about conflict management and 10 national articles. Data analysis used screening by selecting 10 journals and books and then selecting 5 articles to find study topics in more depth. The results of this research are (1) The definition of conflict is a condition that arises when there are differences of opinion or views between individuals, groups or organizations (2) conflict management is constructive action that is planned to regulate situations that should not occur by the parties involved. conflict in organizations (3) Conflict management includes at least three main stages, namely conflict planning analysis, conflict assessment and conflict resolution (4) There are six principles in conflict management so that it does not cause more serious problems.

Abstract

This research discusses financial resources and financial management which includes the stages of planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and financial accountability. This study aims to analyze financial resources and financial management in the Tourism Industry of Syaakirah The View & Resto. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative research type. The data analysis techniques in this study are by conducting documentation, observation, and interviews. The results of this study show that the financial resources of Syaakirah The View & Resto Nature Tourism are obtained from visitor tickets, lodging, food and beverage sales, rides, parking fees, and others. Financial management at Syaakirah The View & Resto Nature Tourism has been carried out well, starting from the planning, implementation, administration, reporting, to financial accountability. Syaakirah Nature Tourism The View & Resto has made financial planning in its business. The implementation of finance in tourism has been fully carried out in accordance with the predetermined plan or target, if the target is not achieved they will make a strategy to cover the problem. Financial administration is carried out using a manual recording system using the Microsoft Excel application to record all receipts and expenditure transactions, from this administration will be recapitulation made every week and combined every month. Financial reporting on tourism has made a financial report of profit and loss on its business. Financial accountability is carried out twice a month to account for all receipts and expenses from Syaakirah Nature Tourism The View & Resto.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding a civil servant promotion period on the quality of civil servant promotion services within the Sekadau Regency Government. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach method. The sample collection technique uses purposive sampling where respondents are determined with the criteria of being ASN who work at the Sekadau Regency Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency. Based on the results of the study, it was found that periodization has an effect on the quality of service. Overall, the change in the promotion period from twice a year to six times a year has a positive impact in terms of efficiency and career opportunities for civil servants.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the costs and income of corn farmers in Sugihwaras Village, District. Sugihwaras, Bojonegoro Regency. With this research, it is hoped that it can help farmers’ current problems, recording production costs should start from the planting process until they become corn seeds ready to sell so that from the income we get, we can determine what the production costs will be and ultimately we can calculate profits accurately. , therefore it is also necessary to study production costs. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The descriptive method is a method of researching the status of a group of people, an object, a set of conditions, a system of thought, or a class of events in the present. The research results show that by calculating production costs properly and continuously, we can find out the total production costs (Raw Material Costs, Labor Costs, and Factory Overhead Costs) in each season, the production costs per unit and the profits obtained each season.

Abstract

The capital market serves as a forum for companies to obtain funds from investors, who in turn can benefit through dividends or stock price differences. The stock price itself is the value per share of a company traded on the stock exchange. This study aims to examine how Return on Assets, Return on Equity, and Debt to Equity Ratio relate to the stock prices of non-cyclical consumer sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2023. The quantitative method with multiple linear regression was used to test this relationship using SPSS 25. Of the 47 companies taken as samples using purposive sampling method, this study found that Return on Assets and Debt to Equity Ratio have a negative impact on stock prices, while Return on Equity has a positive effect. Therefore, companies in this sector are advised to improve their Return on Assets and Return on Equity performance in order to increase their share price in the capital market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Human Development Index (HDI), inflation, and unemployment on poverty alleviation efforts in Indonesia. Poverty in Indonesia, affecting 24% of the total population, remains a serious issue in economic development despite various efforts by the government. This study employs a quantitative method with time series data analysis from 2015 to 2023. Data were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. The statistical tests used include descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests (multicollinearity, autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, and normality), coefficient of determination test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that the variables HDI, inflation, and unemployment have a significant impact on poverty levels. The coefficient of determination (R²) test indicates that 70.9% of the variation in poverty levels can be explained by these three independent variables. The partial hypothesis test (t-test) reveals that unemployment has the most significant impact on poverty compared to HDI and inflation. From this study, it can be concluded that improving HDI, controlling inflation, and reducing unemployment are crucial factors in poverty alleviation efforts in Indonesia. Therefore, a comprehensive and integrated approach from the government, private sector, and civil society is necessary to address poverty issues and enhance social welfare in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the economic thought of Ibn Taymiyyah, a prominent scholar from the 13th to early 14th century, focusing on his concepts of market mechanisms, just price, and the role of government in the economy. Using a qualitative method with a historical approach, this study analyzes Ibn Taymiyyah's works and related secondary literature. The results show that Ibn Taymiyyah had a deep understanding of market functions and price determination through the interaction of supply and demand. He viewed the market as a natural system to meet human needs but also recognized the necessity of government intervention in certain situations to ensure justice and social welfare. Ibn Taymiyyah also emphasized the importance of business ethics and fair competition while opposing monopolistic practices and hoarding of goods. Ibn Taymiyyah's economic thoughts are relevant not only in the historical context but also in providing moral and ethical guidance for contemporary economic practices.

Abstract

Accounting regulates how an entity runs properly in accordance with existing regulations, one example of which is the accounting treatment in business combinations. Accounting regulates how business combinations occur by referring to standards or regulations, one of which is contained in PSAK 22 which discusses business combinations. The discussion of PSAK 22 also explains how accounting treats the goodwill of an entity. The aim of this analysis is for us to understand how accounting treats business combinations where there is goodwill or added value from various aspects, including loyalty, good name and so on. Writing research in this journal uses a library research approach and method, using qualitative methods sourced from literature, scientific articles, or other supporting documents. Generally, business combinations are carried out using 2 methods, the Purchase Method and also the Pooling of Interest method. The difference between the two lies in the assessment of an asset, whether there is an increase or decrease, which will later be calculated to determine the value of the asset or liability, or what is called goodwill, whereas for pooling of ownership, there is no goodwill because all companies are considered the same or equivalent. From this research it was found that Goodwill recognition due to business mergers, especially those that occurred in Indonesia, has been implemented by several companies. Goodwill is recorded in the Company's consolidated balance sheet separately. The Company considers various aspects, one of which is the controlling and non-controlling interests in the Company.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to identify the Procedure for Issuing Measuring Letters for Newly Launched Barge Patria 3222 Ships at KSOP by PT Menara Shipping Agency Batam and to identify what are the obstacles or obstacles as well as solutions in issuing measuring letters for newly launched ships. This paper was written using field research methods, namely observation and interviews and library research methods. The results of this research state that the applicable procedures for issuing measurement letters for newly launched ships by KSOP Batam are in accordance with the regulations issued by the Minister of Transportation. The initial procedure that must be carried out by Barge Patria 3222 is to submit a request for measurements from Barge Patria 3222 to PT Menara Shipping Agency Batam. Then Barge Patria 3222 registered online on the KSOP website specifically for Batam (www.ksopkhususbatam.id) . The documents that have been submitted will be checked again by the Head of Ship Seaworthiness for approval. After approval, several surveyors are sent to carry out physical measurements of the ship and then the results are compiled into a report. If the report has been received, KSOP will verify and validate the report results. For issuance, the owner will be asked to wait some time to receive the newly released measurement letter.
