Abstract

Ciherang Village is one of the villages in Banjarsari District, Ciamis Regency that implements an information technology-based financial management system, namely Siskeudes. The Siskeudes application itself is a tool intended for the Village Government in Village Financial Management starting from the planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability stages in a computerized manner. The purpose of using this Siskeudes application system is to improve the quality of accountability in village financial management. This is in accordance with what is stated in the law regarding financial management which contains various activities starting from planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability. This type of research is an explanatory survey. The selection of this method is based on the consideration that this method not only explains or describes empirical facts in the field, but will also explain the analysis of influence. The method is a research method that highlights the relationship or influence between research variables by testing previously formulated hypotheses. The location of the research is in Ciherang Village, Banjarsari District, Ciamis Regency. The population of this study is village officials who are members of the village government headed by a village head using census techniques. Based on the description of the research results and discussions that have been carried out, the researcher can conclude that the financial management system in the Ciherang Village Government is considered quite good. This can be seen from the implementation of management that is in accordance with existing regulations, although it still needs to be improved, especially in terms of community participation and discipline applied to village officials in the Ciherang Village Government.

Abstract

This study was initiated because of the problem of decreasing employee work motivation. So the purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of employee status on employee work motivation at the Pangandaran Regency Agriculture Service. To determine and analyze the effect of employee status and employee competence on employee work motivation at the Pangandaran Regency Agriculture Service, the method used in this study is quantitative descriptive research. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the following conclusions are obtained. Employee status has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation at the Pangandaran Regency Agriculture Service. This shows that if employee status increases, employee work motivation at the Pangandaran Regency Agriculture Service will increase. Employee competence has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation at the Pangandaran Regency Agriculture Service. This shows that if employee competence continues to increase, employee work motivation at the Pangandaran Regency Agriculture Service will increase. Employee status and employee competence have a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation at the Pangandaran Regency Agriculture Service. If the employee status and employee competency are implemented properly, then employee work motivation at the Pangandaran Regency Agriculture Service will increase.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of visual merchandising strategies and store layout at Lawson, Manggarai Station, on customer experience across the five stages of the customer journey: Awareness, Interest, Decision, Retention, and Advocacy. Using a qualitative method with in-depth interviews involving 10 respondents, the research highlights the significant role of visual elements such as window displays, efficient product layouts, and promotional signage in attracting attention and fostering customer loyalty. The findings indicate that strategic location, attractive promotions, and loyalty programs effectively drive customer retention and advocacy. Recommendations include developing social media strategies, improving store layouts, and optimizing loyalty programs to enhance modern shopping experiences.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between job satisfaction, non-financial compensation and individual performance in the working Gen Z population. The method used is a quantitative method, using a purposive sampling technique based on 40 working generations of Gen Z. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires online via the WhatsApp application. The results of this research show that job satisfaction has a positive and insignificant effect on individual performance and non-financial benefits have a negative and insignificant effect on individual performance.

Abstract

Purpose: With time, competition in business is getting fiercer. Failure and loss have become common risks. By studying business feasibility, one aspect of which is marketing, losses can be minimized. This title was chosen because it is important for business people to develop a marketing strategy that is suitable for the intended market so that business sustainability is maintained. Marketing is crucial in business, because without effective marketing, potential customers will not know about our business, so they cannot become our customers. This research aims to study general consumer preferences and relevant marketing strategies. Methods: Using a descriptive qualitative method the author conducted in-depth interviews with open-ended questions, conducted with 10 respondents. Implication: A cozy atmosphere, innovative menu, and competitive prices are the main elements that consumers look for in a cafe. Marketing strategies through social media with creative content and attractive promotions will be very effective to increase the appeal of iTangi.

Abstract

This literature study examines the influence of product design on purchasing decisions for electronic products. Product design is one of several important aspects that manufacturers need to pay attention to when making an item, because product design plays a role in building the reputation or identity of an item, which can be a characteristic of the item and a differentiator from similar items owned by competitors. Product design includes function and form. Design related to form focuses on the planning and appearance of an item, while design related to function focuses on how the item can be used by consumers. In this study, the literature review method was applied by analyzing various relevant scientific sources. The results of the study revealed that product design has a significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions. The main purpose of this literature study is to analyze and synthesize previous research findings on the influence of product design on electronic purchasing decisions and identify factors that influence product design on electronic product purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of digitalization and the efforts of the Baduy community in preserving and maintaining local culture in the current digital era. The Baduy community is located in Kanekes Village, Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. The Baduy community strongly adheres to traditional values ​​and has very little interaction with modern technology, as time goes by digital technology has begun to enter their society. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through open questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The questionnaire was designed to reveal the perceptions of the Baduy Tribe community regarding the use of digital technology and its impact on their cultural values. The data collected was analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns and trends related to the impact of digitalization on the preservation of customs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of cultural environment on the implementation of international-scale business. In the current era of globalization, companies operating in international markets must be able to adjust their business strategies to various cultural factors present in the target countries. A different cultural environment can influence various aspects of business operations, including communication, negotiations, decision-making, and human resource management. This study uses a qualitative approach with case studies to understand how multinational companies adapt their strategies when facing cultural challenges in different countries. The findings show that the success of international business implementation highly depends on a deep understanding of local cultural values, as well as the ability to adapt products, services, and communication strategies according to the norms and customs in place. This study also identifies the challenges and opportunities faced by companies in managing cultural diversity to achieve success in international business.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal is an important part of the human resource management process in the company and decision support in employee performance appraisal ensures that the assessment results are objective and not influenced by subjective factors. So that the urgency of research on determining decision support models in employee performance appraisal based on the skills or abilities possessed by each employee. In this study applying the Behavior Anchor Rating Scale (BARS) method is used to assist decision makers in determining the final value of ranking the best alternatives. This research aims to be able to apply the BARS method in supporting employee performance appraisals, with decision support techniques that can help decision makers make decisions objectively. Based on the results of the performance assessment with the BARS method, the researcher found the actual average score results. The researcher obtained data on Discipline with a score of 4.5, Skill with a score of 3, Responsibility with a score of 3.6 and Teamwork with a score of 1.2. Of the four factors that are of small value, namely communication between employees, the results of the researcher's analysis when there is no approach between employees and each other.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the results of employee performance targets at the Banten Government Human Resources Development Center (BPSIP), as well as the factors that influence the achievement of this performance. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study at BPSIP Banten, which collects data through in-depth interviews, observations and document analysis related to employee performance results. The research results show that although the majority of employees have succeeded in meeting the performance targets set, there are still several obstacles that affect achievement, such as lack of coordination between work units, limited facilities and resources, and low motivation for some employees. Based on these findings, this research provides recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the performance management system at BPSIP Banten, including increasing coordination between work units, employee motivation, and providing more adequate resources.
