Abstract

This research was conducted to try to answer problems related to the implementation of non-formal education programs, especially in computer training programs to increase the knowledge and skills of learning citizens. Through this research it is hoped that it can provide input for non-formal education program organizers in finding alternatives that can empower the community. the location of the research was carried out at PKBM Cerdik, Tamansari. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of the training program show that computer training at the Smart PKBM has been able to increase the knowledge and skills of learning residents in the field of computers, so that they can play a role in keeping pace with technological developments. However, in the implementation of the training, several obstacles were found which became materials for improvement for the next implementation, including the lack of personnel in the field of computer technicians, limited training funds, and low motivation among learning residents to attend training.

Abstract

Berkembangnya teknologi saat ini kegiatan dalam melakukan pemasaran mulai berubah ke arah digital, tetapi beberapa diantara pelaku usaha di Kota Tasikmalaya masih memasarkan produknya secara konvensional. Salah satunya, dialami oleh pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Setiaratu, Kecamatan Cibeureum, Kota Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan keadaan tersebut, dilaksanakannya sebuah kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan digital marketing menggunakan aplikasi Facebook Ads dan Google Trends oleh mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Masyarakat, Universitas Siliwangi. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Mei 2023 di lembaga pelatihan Yuwita. Metode yang digunakan terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program. Melalui pelatihan digital marketing pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Setiaratu dapat memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar dalam mengoptimalkan media sosial sebagai pemasaran digital. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan memberikan pemahaman pada peserta dalam menggunakan media internet.

Abstract

Drug abuse has legal and social impacts, especially with the negative stigma of society still attached, so former drug convicts need resilience. Where resilience increases from adversity to continue a more quality life. The purpose of this study was to find out how resilient former drug convicts are to rebuild personal branding through counseling. The method used is qualitative method. Data collection techniques use purposive sampling and data collection techniques from interviews, observations and documentation. This study resulted in the resilience process of former drug convicts both with indicators of self-esteem, social support, spiritual, and positive emotions. However, efforts to rebuild personal branding through counseling are not carried out consistently, planning has not been optimal and only relies on media publications, there is no evaluation and development of counseling. Even so, the community and counseling participants still appreciate former drug convicts who conduct counseling even though the personal branding built is not entirely successful. The conclusion in this study is that the resilience of former drug convicts to rebuild personal branding through counseling results in changes by experiencing increased self-esteem, better social, spiritual support, and increased positive emotions even though personal branding has not been maximized. Abstract

Social loafing is a phenomenon that shows a decrease in individual performance when faced with work in groups. Social loafing can occur in both men and women, both adolescents and adults. This study aims to determine the effect of understanding gender roles on social loafing. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with the type of primary research. The results of the hypothesis test of simple linear regression analysis in this study showed significant results of 0.002 this value < 0.005 (5%) and the value of the regression coefficient (b) of the gender role understanding variable is -0.066 where the negative sign (-) indicates the direction of the relationship that is not in the same direction, so it can be concluded that H₀ is rejected, then in understanding gender roles has a significant effect on social loafing. The results of the determination analysis test (R-Square) value of the contribution of understanding gender roles to social loafing was 28.5%. So it can be concluded that the results of this study show a significant and negative influence, where if the level of understanding of gender roles is high, the level of social loafing is low, and vice versa.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is motivated by the observed reality in the field, indicating that the computer course program for adults at IT Dadaha Training Course Institution (LKP) needs to prioritize the characteristics of adult learning assumptions. The course implementation primarily targets adults at the Dadaha IT Computer Training Course Institution (LKP), showing satisfactory execution. This is evident in the proficient instruction provided to adults and the supportive facilities and infrastructure. The study aims to achieve the following objectives: (1) describe the application of assumptions of adult learning experience in the execution of computer courses by instructors, (2) elucidate the application of assumptions of adult self-concept in the execution of computer courses by instructors, and (3) provide an account of the application of assumptions of adult learning readiness in the execution of computer courses by instructors. This descriptive research was conducted at the Dadaha IT Training Course Institute (LKP). Furthermore, it is suggested that future researchers explore different variables to enhance the study of adult learning readiness assumptions in computer course organization and to delve deeper into the examination of adult learning assumptions. Abstract

The interest of students in the kejar paket C program is considered low, due to various factors such as the lack of educators because the Pkbm Sabilul Huda educators are dual positions, the location is quite far between the institution and the residence of the students, the lack of attendance of the students as evidenced. This study aims to determine what efforts are made by educators in increasing the interest of learning citizens learning package C. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using a descriptive approach. The results of this study are that there are several efforts made by educators, namely 1) providing motivation, people learn more enthusiasm and foster a sense of interest in learning. 2) convey the purpose of learning, learning citizens can arouse the desire to know the implications of learning. 3) learning methods, can provide influence and better understand the material of learning to citizens. 4) using Learning media, residents learn not saturated and not sleepy. 5) give an assessment, to increase understanding. 6) giving praise, fostering the spirit and motivation of citizens to learn. Conclusion from the results of this study that the efforts of educators in increasing interest in learning always provide enthusiasm, encouragement, interest in learning citizens in following the learning.

Abstract

Abstract. The art of decorating nails that are applicable for daily activities is quite in demand by young people, the art of decorating nails or nail art also has uses to help women overcome problems such as wavy nails that break easily, or those who want to extend their nails. So the provision of this nail art training program is expected to help the public be literate about the business opportunities that we specifically target the art of nail decorating so that the participants get a moral boost and provide a more structured introduction to the stages of nail art or the hobbies they channel to become productive business fields. The research sample is a total population consisting of 39 Nail Art training participants. The tool used is a questionnaire based on the CIPP model evaluation indicators.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is deeply based on the oral narrative "Sasakala Kalapa Village Genep" with a major focus on syntaxical, semantic, and pragmatic aspects. The background of the research was triggered by the researcher's curiosity and curiosity to continue the previous research, emphasizing the three aspects in the context of the oral story. Qualitative descriptive methods are chosen to accurate research results. The aim of the research is to describe the natural data of the story as clearly as possible and to link it to the context of its existence in the society of its owners. The object of study is folk stories, including the origin of place names and events, which develop through tradition and oral transmission. Though the truth is questioned as it has evolved for a long time, the story is regarded as a legacy of ancestors that evolved downwardly through the way of speech. The study procedure involves analysis of text structure (syntax), semantic aspects (character, consolidation, and setting), as well as pragmatic aspects. (konteks narasi, proses penciptaan, pewarisan, dan fungsi). Results and discussion: The study makes a significant contribution to understanding the sustainability of traditional oral storytelling, by highlighting findings in syntax, semantic, and pragmatic aspects. It enriches our view of the role of people's stories in preserving local identity and wisdom, providing indepth insight into the cultural heritage that is inseparable from the life of the village of Kalapa Genep.

Abstract

Abstract. This research identifies several problems in the implementation of project-based learning at the basic education level, especially in the subject of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn). One of the problems that arises is the limited learning time. Project-based learning requires more time, as students have to develop their projects gradually. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to identify efficient ways to organize learning time and resources. Lack of student engagement is also an issue. Lack of motivation, skills or previous experience in project-based learning can lead to low student engagement. Therefore, more engaging learning strategies that focus on students' interests and provide appropriate support are needed to overcome these barriers. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, by collecting data from interview scripts, field notes, personal documents, memo notes, and official documents. The focus of this research is the project-based learning process in Civics subjects at the primary education level. The steps of data analysis include data reduction, categorization, presentation, and conclusion making. Thus, this research aims to provide better insights in overcoming problems in project-based learning at the primary education level. Abstract. In the application of an independent curriculum, citizens learn to create or implement projects. Implementation of P5 activities is one of the activities of the independent curriculum project. The implementation of the P5 project as a reservoir of development of citizens' skills skills in making the beauty of tables through ecoprint activities. It's meant to enable learners to understand the material thoroughly. The implementation of the ecoprint learning method is based on the problem of using synthetic colors on fabrics, so it is expected to reduce the use of synthesized colors and replace them with natural colors. Implementation of ecoprint learning methods, also aimed at enabling learners to improve their skills in implementing eco print learning. Research methods are conducted using qualitative methods that start with observations, interviews, and evaluations. By implementing this ecoprint learning method, it produces learners who have the skills to create ecocrypt. Keywords: Ecoprint, Lifeskill, Learning
