Abstract

Ciamis Regency is one of the districts that has had innovations in the Posyandu data archiving system. This innovation aims to empower Posyandu Cadres in terms of orderly administration. The presence of the SIPOCIS application is a solution to prevent the loss of manual data archives in the form of Posyandu Information System books that are vulnerable to burning and loss. The research method used uses a qualitative approach that can be adapted as a forum for evaluating socialization programs and assistance in using the Sipocis application to Posyandu cadres with stages in the form of program implementation responses, program implementation alignment, and success after program implementation. At the time of implementation, the methods used were lectures, discussions, and implementation. Based on the results of the evaluation of the implementation of Socialization and Assistance in Using the Ciamis Posyandu Information System to Posyandu cadres, the results of the problem are lack of understanding in using the SIPOCIS application, lack of initiative in reminding Posyandu cadres related to data entry, and limited technology facilities owned by Posyandu cadres. Kirkpatrick in (Winaryati, 2021) developed an evaluation model, where this evaluation is very suitable for the assistance of the SIPOCIS application to cadres, because the Kirkpatrick model program evaluation is used to evaluate training programs carried out by Reaction, Learning, Behavior and Result.

Abstract

Abstract. Educational facilities and infrastructure play an important role in achieving an effective learning process. Facilities include equipment and supplies such as tables, chairs and teaching aids, while infrastructure includes supporting facilities such as buildings, laboratories and libraries. The availability of complete educational facilities, such as libraries with diverse book collections and internet access, can increase students' engagement in learning and motivate them to study. The research method used in this study is a literature study, which aims to collect data and information from written sources to build a strong theoretical foundation and strengthen research arguments. Data from BPS and the Ministry of Health show an imbalance in educational facilities and infrastructure between urban and rural areas. In urban areas, 88% of classrooms are in decent condition, while in rural areas only 62%. In addition, 85% of schools in urban areas have internet access, while only 30% in rural areas. Library availability is also much different, with 75% of schools in urban areas having libraries, while in rural areas it is only 45%. Laboratories are available in 60% of urban schools but only 20% in rural areas. In terms of sanitation, 90% of schools in urban areas have proper facilities, while only 50% in rural areas. Various factors such as geography, economy, government policies and cultural aspects contribute to this gap.

Abstract

Abstract. This study examines the efforts of Community Self-Help Activators (PSM) in increasing community participation through the Bulan Bhakti Gotong Royong Masyarakat (BBGRM) activities in Ciamis Regency. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the strategies and methods used by PSM in educating, training, and assisting the community and village apparatus. The results show that PSM's role is crucial in enhancing active community participation through counseling, training, and assistance. Innovations such as using Zoom application for counseling have proven effective in quickly and widely disseminating information. Challenges such as limited internet access and technological skills among the community are addressed by providing technical guidance. Technical Guidance Training (Bimtek) also helps improve the community's understanding and skills in implementing BBGRM. Overall, PSM's efforts in increasing community participation through BBGRM activities in Ciamis Regency have successfully raised awareness, involvement, and contributions from the community.

Abstract

Abstract. Social problems are a complex issue that continues to occur among society, specifically in Indonesia. Social issues needs consideration by every structure in society, both the government and society itself. To begin, this paper will look into the topic about the method to identify a social issues that occurs and techniques for solving it, so every structure of society can resolve or even anticipate the social issues around them. The research method used in this paper is a literature review obtained from several studies regarding the identification of social issues and techniques for solving them carried out by previous researchers so that the paper presented is supported by valid data.

Abstract

Abstract. Understanding the Competence of Mentors and Instructors to Increase Professionalism in the Implementation of Formal and Non-formal Education Units. There are still many tutors and instructors who currently do not have sufficient competence to answer or even be the right solution to the needs that have been determined. This can have a negative impact on the quality of education provided covering various important aspects, such as program planning, program implementation, communication, understanding individual behavior, maintaining professionalism, and evaluation. This research aims to find out how supervisors and instructors can have good professional competence to be more effective in delivering learning material, facilitating interaction between targets (students/learning residents), as well as improving the quality of learning and teaching. This research method uses the type of research method used, namely research using data collection using the library study method, namely in the form of literature studies that are appropriate to the research, both in the form of book sources and internet sources.

Abstract

Abstract. The education gap is one of the significant contemporary issues in Indonesia, characterized by inequalities in access, quality and means of learning between regions, especially between urban and rural areas. Factors such as geographical conditions, economics, government policies and the quality of teaching staff are the main causes of this gap. The research method used in this study is a literature study, which aims to analyze data from various sources, including relevant research reports, books and journal articles. The results show that schools in urban areas are generally more advanced in terms of infrastructure and teacher quality compared to schools in rural areas, where education facilities and access are still very limited. In addition, the low availability of technology and resources in remote areas further exacerbates this disparity. To address these issues, more inclusive policies are needed, such as a more equitable distribution of the education budget, improving the quality of teacher training and utilizing technology for distance education. This study is expected to provide a more in-depth picture of the factors that exacerbate the education gap in Indonesia and provide recommendations to reduce the gap.

Abstract

Abstract. The gap in teacher quality in education is one of the main challenges affecting the quality of learning in various regions, especially between urban and rural areas. Qualified teachers determine student learning outcomes but the distribution of competent teachers is uneven. This study uses the literature review method to analyze the various factors that cause the gap in teacher quality, such as the lack of access to continuous training in remote areas, low incentives for teachers serving in these areas and limited support facilities. The study also discusses efforts that have been made, including teacher training programs, the use of technology for online learning, and government policies related to teacher placement and professional development. The findings show that although some programs have been running, the gap is still quite large, especially in rural areas that often experience a shortage of qualified teachers. Therefore, more integrated and sustainable policies are needed, including strengthening incentives, increasing access to technology-based training and improving education infrastructure in remote areas. Thus, it is hoped that the gap in teacher quality can be reduced so that all students, regardless of geographical location, can receive a quality education.

Abstract

This research reviews the Tutor's Strategy in Developing Learning Interest in Early Childhood. Tutors have an important role in developing interest in learning in early childhood. As we know, learning in early childhood is different from learning in general. Early childhood must be given more in-depth attention so that their interest in learning can increase. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe how the Tutor's strategy in Developing Learning Interest in Early Childhood at Kober Al Ittihad. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis uses Miles and Huberman analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this study are tutor strategies in developing interest in learning in early childhood at Kober Al Ittihad, namely by: telling stories, doing ice breaking before starting learning, playing games and using learning media that are as interesting as possible. The conclusion in this study is that the tutor's strategy in developing interest in learning in early childhood shows positive results. Through various innovative and interactive learning methods,through innovative and interactive learning, children's interest in learning will increase.

Abstract

Abstract. Cultural heritage is an object or intangible attribute that is the identity of a community or people inherited from previous generations that are preserved for future generations. One unique cultural heritage is the geulis umbrella in the Tasikmalaya area. The geulis umbrella has a distinctive design with beautiful traditional decorations and a deep symbolic meaning. This research aims to explore the cultural heritage of geulis umbrellas in the Tasikmalaya area, including the history, production process, meaning and symbols of the images made and their role for life. The research methods used are direct observation, interviews with geulis umbrella craftsmen, and literature study to obtain comprehensive information. The results showed that the geulis umbrella is a cultural heritage of Tasikmalaya with a long history and symbolic meanings in its motifs, such as prosperity and harmony. Its production process is traditional and passed down through generations, making it a cultural identity used in various traditional events. In addition to its aesthetic value, the geulis umbrella has the potential to support the creative economy and tourism sectors. However, challenges such as the regeneration of young artisans and modern competition require promotional efforts and design innovations to preserve its sustainability.

Abstract

Waste management is one of the social problems that must be handled as soon as possible by the entire community. If waste management is not handled as early as possible, it will have a bad impact on life in the future. The pattern of consumptive community habits also affects the volume of waste produced. The purpose of this study is to find out the community's understanding of household waste management in RT 03 RW 17 Kahuripan Village. This study is a quantitative descriptive research using a questionnaire distribution that contains statements with multiple choices in the form of true and false. The overall research results are included in the high category (very good understanding) with a percentage of 65%. When viewed from the overall average value, the percentage is 80%. The highest percentage based on per indicator and per statement lies in the indicator summarizing precisely number 9 regarding the 3R principle and explaining, precisely in statement number 15 regarding waste disposal sites that must be adjusted to the type of waste with a percentage of 94.9%.
