Abstract

Public speaking skills are an important part of every activity, especially activities in the academic field. In reality, there are still very few school students who have public speaking skills. Based on this, we, Siliwangi University PLP (introduction to the professional field) participants who were assigned to the Tasikmalaya Regency work Training Center, took the initiative to provide Public Speaking Training services to PKL (field practice) students. This training was carried out by analyzing the participants' needs first, so that later after PKL they could present the results of their reports. to the hearing board properly. The methods used in this training are providing material, discussion and demonstration. In the training activities carried out, exploring students' potential was done by asking them to speak in public without preparation. Then it ended with them doing public speaking again by making a speech. This is demonstrated by their ability to apply knowledge while taking public speaking training. After the training was carried out, it was seen that there was good potential for the Job Training Center PKL students in public speaking. Potential will simply evaporate if it is not continuously sharpened to face the world of college and future employment

Abstract

The cultivation of tilapia fish presents promising business prospects in the fisheries sector, particularly in Pangandaran Regency. Despite existing efforts to promote tilapia fish cultivation in various villages and sub-districts, the increasing demand for consumption has led to unmet community needs. Limited cultivation land poses a challenge in fulfilling this demand. The adoption of aquaculture technology, specifically the biofloc system, offers a solution to optimize land use and address water conservation concerns. Biofloc technology enables fish farmers to minimize land requirements while enhancing fisheries production efficiency. The key partners involved in the implementation of biofloc technology in tilapia fish cultivation in narrow land areas are the Tidar fisheries business group and the Bina Mandiri fisheries business group, both situated in Pangandaran Regency. The primary issues faced by these fish cultivator groups include traditional cultivation techniques, simplicity and ineffectiveness in tilapia fish production, dependence on manufactured feed due to limited knowledge in feed processing, and the challenge of restricted land availability. By introducing and implementing the biofloc system, these challenges can be effectively addressed, providing a sustainable and efficient solution for tilapia fish cultivation in Pangandaran Regency. This initiative not only meets the increasing market demand for tilapia fish but also promotes environmentally conscious and economically viable aquaculture practices.

The use of information technology, especially computer-based applications, is able to facilitate the learning process. In the application of computer-based learning, it is not only seen from the ability of teachers to use and utilize computers in learning, but teachers are also required to be more innovative and follow developments in information technology in the learning process. Among them, the use of applications or software that supports the learning process. One of the mathematical software that can be used in the learning process is GeoGebra software. In this pendemi period the use of GeoGebra software really helped teachers in compiling material and explaining material to students. Through this Community Service activity, the cominity team helps partners by providing training in using GeoGebra software. This training aims to make SMK teachers more skilled in utilizing media in learning. This community activity was carried out in a demonstration, where the community team first provided material about GeoGebra software, and continued by providing training using GeoGebra software to the training participants. Abstract

Climate change is one of the global problems currently being faced by the world. Indonesia is one of the countries that is vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. The Climate Village Program (Proklim) is one of the efforts made by the government to reduce the impact of climate change. Community participation is an important factor in the successful implementation of Proklim. Community participation can be interpreted as community involvement in all stages of program implementation, starting from planning, implementation, evaluation and utilization of results. This research aims to analyze community participation in the implementation of Proklim in Palasari Hamlet, Sukahurip Village, Cihaurbeuti District, Ciamis Regency, West Java. This research uses qualitative research methods. Research data was obtained through in-depth interviews with sources, observation and documentation. The research results show that community participation in implementing Proklim in Palasari Hamlet has gone well. Community participation has been visible since the planning, implementation and utilization stages. At the planning stage, the community is involved in providing ideas and thoughts about the activities that will be carried out in Proklim. At the implementation stage, the community is involved in implementing Proklim activities, such as planting trees, building infiltration wells, and composting. At the harvest utilization stage, the community feels the benefits of Proklim activities, such as the availability of clean water, cleaner air, and increased agricultural productivity. However, there are still several things that need to be improved in the implementation of Proklim in Palasari Hamlet, namely the need to increase community capacity in implementing Proklim activities and the need for support from the regional government and central government.
