Abstract

This research aims to determine whether work discipline can influence the work productivity of PT employees. Duta Palma in Kempas District. In this research, the type of data used consists of qualitative and quantitative data, with data collection techniques carried out through interviews and submitting a list of questions (questionnaires). From the research results, it was concluded that there are factors that cause efforts to enforce work discipline to not be able to increase employee work productivity, including enforcement of preventive discipline, corrective discipline and progressive discipline that has not been implemented well or is less strict. As a result of the company's lack of strict enforcement of work discipline, it has not been able to support the increase in work productivity achieved by employees, especially employees in the Palm Oil (CPO) production department. Furthermore, based on quantitative analysis, it shows that simultaneously there is a significant influence between enforcing work discipline through preventive discipline, corrective discipline and progressive discipline on the sub-optimal work productivity of employees in PT's production department. Palma Ambassador. This can be seen from the results of the regression analysis which shows that the adjusted R2 value is 0.917, and this means that 91.7% of work productivity is still less than optimal, influenced by three explanatory variables, namely preventive discipline, corrective discipline and progressive discipline. Meanwhile, the remaining 8.3% is influenced by other variables that are not equalized in the variables of this research.

Abstract

Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) di sektor publik, khususnya dalam instansi pemerintah, sangat berperan dalam keberhasilan pelayanan publik yang efektif dan efisien. Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Takalar memiliki tanggung jawab penting dalam mengelola transportasi dan memastikan keselamatan publik. Namun, penurunan kinerja PNS di instansi ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya tingkat motivasi dan disiplin kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran motivasi dan disiplin kerja dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Takalar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari pegawai dan pimpinan Dinas Perhubungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja PNS. Pegawai yang memiliki motivasi dan disiplin tinggi cenderung menunjukkan produktivitas yang lebih baik dan layanan yang lebih optimal. Disarankan agar Dinas Perhubungan menerapkan sistem penghargaan berbasis kinerja yang transparan dan memperluas peluang pengembangan karier untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan disiplin pegawai.

Abstract

This research is also motivated by the research gap of previous research which discusses leadership style more broadly and the lack of research in Indonesian that discusses ethical leadership and its relationship to organizational citizenship behavior. In previous studies, leader member exchange has not been found as a mediation mechanism that discusses the influence of ethical leadership on organizational citizenship behavior. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with a causal research design with a population of state civil servants at the Regional Finance and Asset Agency of Indragiri Hilir Regency with a population of 51 state civil servants and a sample using the census method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and distribution using google forms. The data analysis tool in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed using SmartPLS 32.9 for data processing. From the findings of this study, it was found that ethical leadership has a positive and insignificant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, ethical leadership has a positive and significant effect on leader member exchange, leader member exchange has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance and ethical leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance through leader member exchange.

Abstract

Previous studies may have used common methods in measuring digital transformation and in the context of government organizations. This study seeks to answer key questions related to the relationship between digital transformation and innovative work behavior, as well as the mediating role of human resource management. through leader member exchange. The study is a type of quantitative descriptive research with a causal research design with a population of 79 ASN from Indragiri Hilir Regency with a sample in this study of 79 people using the census method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and distribution using Google Form. The data analysis tool in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed using SmartPLS 32.9 for data processing. From the findings of this study, it was found that digital transformation has a positive and insignificant effect on innovative work behavior (hypothesis 1 is rejected), digital transformation has a positive and significant effect on human resource behavior (hypothesis 2 is accepted), human resource behavior has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior (hypothesis 3 is accepted) and digital transformation has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior through human resource behavior (hypothesis 4 is accepted).

Abstract

Previous studies have shown that emotional intelligence plays an important role in the educational environment, especially in supporting the psychological well-being of educators. However, research linking emotional intelligence to organizational performance (OP) in the public sector is still lacking, especially among public policy management. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with a causal research design with a population of state civil servants at the Siak Regency Health Office with a population of 64 people. The sampling method used in this study is the saturated sampling method. The saturated sampling method is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and distribution using google forms. The data analysis tool in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed using SmartPLS 32.9 for data processing. From the findings of this study, it was found that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance (hypothesis 1 is rejected), emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy (hypothesis 2 is accepted), self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance (hypothesis 3 is accepted) and emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance through self-efficacy (hypothesis 4 is accepted).

The data analysis tool in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed using SmartPLS 32.9 for data processing. From the findings of this study, it was found that career patterns have a positive and insignificant effect on organizational performance (hypothesis 1 is rejected), career patterns are positive and significant on neutrality (hypothesis 2 is accepted), neutrality is positive and significant on organizational performance (hypothesis 3 is accepted) and career patterns have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance through neutrality (hypothesis 4 is accepted).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of ethical leadership on emotional exhaustion with work autonomy as a mediating variable at the Regional Office of the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) of Riau Province. Emotional exhaustion, which is often influenced by work environment factors, can have a negative impact on individual well-being and organizational performance. On the other hand, ethical leadership implemented by leaders can create a more supportive work environment, which allows employees to have autonomy in working, and in turn can reduce the risk of emotional exhaustion. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach at the Regional Office of the BKKBN of Riau Province. The results of the study indicate that ethical leadership significantly influences emotional exhaustion, both directly and through the mediation of work autonomy. This study provides important insights for organizational leaders in designing leadership strategies that can improve employee well-being and prevent emotional exhaustion.

Abstract

This study uses this research using a quantitative method and the PLS Structural equational modelling (SEM) statistical test will be used for verifying analysis. The research was conducted at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk Pekanbaru Branch with a total of 57 respondents. The results of the study show that work motivation as an intervening variable has a positive value on the influence of employee work discipline on employee performance at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk Pekanbaru Branch. This means that the work motivation variable as an intervening will strengthen the relationship between the employee work discipline variable and employee performance at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk Pekanbaru Branch, because indeed with good work motivation, it will make employees who initially think that work discipline has no effect on their performance at work to change and realize that no matter how small the mistake they make will have an impact on employee performance and the performance of the company's organization, so high motivation is needed in every employee To always prioritize the interests of the company above personal interests while at work. In order to achieve good employee performance, the leadership of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk Pekanbaru Branch continues to pay attention to improving employee discipline by being more active in supervising, namely supervising the attitudes, behaviors, work passion, morals, attitudes, and work achievements of their subordinates by trying to always be present or present at the workplace so that it is easy to supervise and can provide solutions if there are difficulties faced by employees. The thing that needs to be considered regarding employee performance is that leaders should continue to maintain and increase attention to employees to maintain productivity through emphasis on employees to always be obedient in carrying out work according to the work procedures that have been made.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of inclusive leadership on workplace bullying with self-esteem as a mediating variable. The study was conducted at the Department of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) of Siak Regency, involving 51 respondents. The research method used is a quantitative approach with saturated sampling technique (census). Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3.2.9 software. The results show that: (1) Inclusive leadership has a positive and significant effect on self-esteem, (2) Inclusive leadership has a positive and significant effect on workplace bullying, (3) Self-esteem has a positive and significant effect on workplace bullying, and (4) Self-esteem mediates the effect of inclusive leadership on workplace bullying. These findings indicate the important role of inclusive leadership and self-esteem in reducing workplace bullying behavior.
