Abstract

Community service through Real Work Lectures (KKN) is a form of student contribution in overcoming problems that exist in society. This study aims to examine the role of KKN in increasing environmental awareness and providing education to children in Bakalanpule Village, Lamongan Regency. The method used in this research is observation. KKN students participate in environmental cleaning activities, counseling about the importance of maintaining cleanliness, and educating children about the importance of protecting the environment. The results showed that through KKN, environmental awareness in Bakalanpule Villagenexperienced a significant increase. People are starting to understand how important it is to keep clean and take care of the environment around them. The children also showed increased knowledge about the importance of protecting the environment through educational activities conducted by KKN students.

Abstract

Generation Z is now starting to enter the world of work, where this generation has different characteristics from other generations. This Community Service aims to educate generation Z who are students about adapting to work behavior in the world of work for students at the Faculty of Economics and Business. The method of delivering this education is carried out by conducting webinars using virtual meetings which are carried out involving several higher education institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia, where they have previously collaborated. This activity is considered effective in providing students with an understanding of how students who are Generation Z must be able to adapt in the world of work. This activity deserves to be held again, considering the enthusiasm of the webinar participants in the question and answer session.

Abstract

The state has a role in providing support to MSMEs, but MSMEs often face significant challenges, especially in terms of taxation. One of the main challenges faced by MSMEs is the lack of understanding of taxation caused by a lack of understanding of taxation, a low level of awareness, and the perception that the process of paying or managing taxes is complicated. The results of community service are in the form of understanding of Siangan Village MSME actors of the importance of orderly tax administration. From the community service activities that have been carried out in Siangan Village, it will provide additional education about MSME taxation and tax administration that should be carried out by MSMEs.

Abstract

The drastic increase in the number of MSMEs during the pandemic illustrates that small and medium enterprises are one type of industry that is able to survive in crisis conditions. Bindu Village is a village that implements a smart city system with a concept introduced by the village, namely the Bindu Experience. This concept provides an experience of how Bindu Village is a beautiful but dense village with the use of technology, all corners of the village have been reached by WiFi signals. In practice, the use of technology has not been very effective, so the utilisation of these resources can still be improved. The number of people who switch professions to become entrepreneurs makes business activities unable to be carried out professionally, so that business activities are difficult to develop. The main problem is the low awareness of the community in carrying out their obligations as taxpayers, as well as traditional business management without recording every transaction, making it difficult to see whether their business activities are developing or not. The solution offered to overcome these problems is to conduct training, mentoring, and seminars in managing businesses professionally, both in terms of financial management, recording, and business development, it is hoped that this will be able to improve the economy of the community, especially the Bindu Traditional Village. The methods used in community service activities are socialization, focus group discussions, mentoring, training, and entrepreneurial seminars to meet the needs of partners related to improving the economic conditions of their communities affected by the pandemic.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in villages have a central role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The main factor in achieving sustainable development goals at the village level is efficient financial recording at the MSME level. However, MSMEs do not fully understand managing financial records. As a result, MSMEs are unable to handle financial records and evaluate business performance consistently and correctly. To overcome this problem, outreach and training activities have been carried out in Gunung Anyar Tambak RW 08 Village using the Buku Warung financial application for MSMEs. The aim of this activity is to increase the use of technology and provide a better understanding of how to minimize errors, strengthen financial report recording, and at the same time support the achievement of local SDGs. This activity succeeded in increasing MSMEs' awareness of financial recording through outreach which included methods of presenting material, direct practice, monitoring and evaluation. As a result, they can make the financial recording process more structured and efficient by using the Buku Warung application on their smartphone. In conclusion, the application of the Buku Warung financial application provides in-depth insight into how technology can play a key role and provide a positive impact in advancing sustainable development at the village level.

Abstract

One of the pillars of economic growth is small business activities in both traditional and modern sectors through Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Buchari & Nurcahya, 2021). Digitalization is an important thing to understand. Problems with MSMEs in Gunung Anyar Tambak RW. 08, namely the lack of use of social media, especially Instagram as a medium for doing business. The results of the Village Development Student survey show that 70% of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) do not use Instagram as a promotional medium. Many of them are reluctant or lazy to put words together to make an interesting caption. This results in a lack of content, and a lack of consumer interest in viewing posts and visiting seller profiles. So online marketing for MSMEs in this area is not optimal. In response to these problems, socialization programs and business communication training in creating business captions/messages on Instagram are considered important instruments in building a strong foundation for the success of MSMEs. In this socialization we use lecture and discussion methods. It is hoped that this socialization and training activity will enable MSME actors in Gunung Anyar Tambak RW 08 to implement the knowledge that has been provided in the socialization on an ongoing basis, so that MSMEs through online media will progress further and get many profile visits, as well as increasing followers. The results of this service activity provide in-depth insight into how the use of social media can play a key role and have a positive impact in advancing the sustainable development of MSMEs at the village level.

Abstract

Saat ini perkembangan teknologi makin berkembang, yang dimana masyarakat berpindah dari transformasi tradisional ke dalam dunia transformasi era digital. Hal itu cukup memberikan suatu perubahan yang signifikan dalam perkembangan kehidupan masyarakat di zaman ini. Jurnal ini mengulas tentang "Pola Interaksi Online Pengguna X terhadap Komunitas Marah-Marah di Platform X", yang dimana komunitas tersebut memiliki suatu bentuk nilai positif dan negatif dalam interaksi sosialnya secara virtual. Hal itu tergantung dari apa isu yang dibicarakan dan suatu konteks dari setiap postingan yang ada di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola interaksi pengguna X dalam komunitas virtual di platform X. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini, yaitu terdapat nilai positif ataupun negatif dari cuitan para anggota komunitas yang meluapkan emosi mereka di komunitas ini. Bisa diketahui bahwa interaksi pengguna X terhadap cuitan kemarahan anggota komunitas marah-marah itu tergantung apa postingannya, isi dan konteks dari setiap postingan yang dibagikan di dalamnya, dan tergantung pada bagaimana mereka menafsirkan pesan yang disampaikan serta sudut pandang yang mereka miliki terhadap situasi dari postingan tersebut.

Abstract

Most Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have difficulty managing their business finances separately from their personal finances. This combined financial management often leads to various problems, such as difficulty in monitoring business cash flow, difficulty in planning effective business finances, and lack of understanding of overall business profitability. This points to the need for a more professional approach to financial management for MSMEs to improve their business performance and sustainability.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools, as educational institutions that adopt a dormitory system, are one of the environments that are very vulnerable to the spread of scabies. Overcrowding conditions, poor personal hygiene, and limited sanitation facilities are the main factors that increase the risk of spreading this disease among students. Purpose: This service activity aims to increase the knowledge of students in prevention Purpose: This service activity aims to increase the knowledge of students in the prevention of scabies. Method: The community service method is carried out in the form of health counseling on how to prevent scabies disease with lectures and questions and answers. Result: Personal hygiene counseling is an effective preventive effort to prevent the spread of scabies in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Moringa leaves are a plant that has many health benefits, rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Vitamins A, C, and E contained in Moringa leaves are very important for maintaining healthy eyes, skin, and improving the immune system. The current problem is the abundance of Moringa leaves and limitations in how to process them, so the author took the initiative to create a new variation by combining Moringa leaves into peanut brittle. This innovation not only provides added value to peanut brittle, but also utilizes the advantages of Moringa leaves in a more creative and varied way. The methods used in this activity include lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training. The results obtained were (1) The participants responded well to the training on making peanut brittle from Moringa leaves; (2) The high interest and motivation of the training participants really supports the transfer of knowledge and skills from the service to the training participants, so that the training material provided can be absorbed by all; and (3) The training product for making peanut brittle from Moringa leaves can be consumed daily and can be used as an entrepreneurial product.
