Abstract

Efforts to prevent bullying and sexual violence in higher education institutions are increasingly urgent due to their significant psychological, social, and academic impacts on students. New students are particularly vulnerable as they undergo a transition period of social and environmental adaptation within campus life. This community service program aimed to enhance students’ knowledge, awareness, and preventive capacity regarding bullying and sexual violence.The program employed participatory educational methods consisting of lectures, small-group discussions, role-playing simulations, and evaluative reflection. Participants were new students of Totalwin School of Economics from diverse regional and socio-cultural backgrounds. Evaluation results indicated that approximately 90% of participants demonstrated improved comprehension of definitions, forms, impacts, and prevention mechanisms of bullying and sexual violence. In addition, simulation-based learning significantly strengthened students’ confidence in responding appropriately to real-life risk situations.Despite several implementation challenges such as limited session duration, uneven participation, and discomfort in discussing sensitive issues the program effectively fostered collective awareness and encouraged the development of a safer and more inclusive campus culture. Sustainable follow-up programs, institutional collaboration, and integration of psychological and legal support services are recommended to ensure long-term impact.

Abstract

This community service program aims to form effective student learning groups based on clustering algorithms to improve the quality of learning at SD Negeri Ganrang Jawa II. The main problem faced by teachers is the difficulty in dividing students into learning groups evenly based on academic ability, as well as students’ tendency to choose their own friends when working in groups. These conditions result in unbalanced and less effective learning groups. To address this problem, the K-Means Clustering algorithm is applied to group students based on academic scores, so that each group consists of students with high, medium, and low abilities. The service method includes collecting student academic data, implementing the clustering algorithm, and assisting teachers in applying the learning groups. The results show that the distribution of learning groups becomes more balanced, student interaction increases, and the learning process runs more effectively. Therefore, the application of clustering algorithms can serve as an innovative solution to support collaborative learning strategies in elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the role of the principal as an educator in improving the quality of school management. To find out the role of the principal as an administrator in improving the quality of school management. To find out the role of the principal as a manager in improving the quality of school management. To find out the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the quality of school management. The research method used is qualitative. By using this type of exploratory research. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are; Reduction, Presentation and Conclusion. The results of data analysis in this study are related to the role of the principal in improving the quality of school management at SDI Satu Atap Wara, which will be explained further as follows: 1. Abstract

Counseling to strengthen community capacity through court decision examinations is a strategic tool for communities to understand and fight for their rights. Negeri Amahai, as one of the Traditional Villages in Maluku, requires legal capacity strengthening, particularly in understanding and following up on court decisions related to the rights of the local community. This community service activity aims to strengthen the capacity of Negeri Amahai residents through legal counseling based on decision examinations, so that the community is able to read, assess, and understand the legal implications of a decision critically. The methods used include preparation, implementation, and evaluation (interactive lectures). The results of the activity show an increase in community understanding of legal rights and obligations, as well as the ability to interpret decisions more accurately. This activity also fosters legal awareness and the courage to fight for their rights legally. Thus, counseling based on decision examinations is an effective approach in building a legally aware community and strengthening access to justice.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi statistika merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting yang perlu dimiliki peserta didik dalam menghadapi perkembangan informasi berbasis data. Namun, kenyataannya kemampuan literasi statistika siswa masih tergolong rendah, khususnya dalam membaca, menafsirkan, dan menarik kesimpulan dari data. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi statistika dan motivasi belajar siswa melalui pendampingan pembelajaran statistika di SMP Negeri 3 Panca Rijang. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu pra-pendampingan, pendampingan, dan pasca-pendampingan. Tahap pra-pendampingan dilakukan melalui observasi dan identifikasi permasalahan siswa, tahap pendampingan dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran interaktif dan kontekstual, serta tahap pasca-pendampingan dilakukan melalui evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca dan menafsirkan data, serta peningkatan motivasi dan keaktifan siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Siswa menjadi lebih percaya diri dan mampu menarik kesimpulan sederhana berdasarkan data yang disajikan. Dengan demikian, pendampingan pembelajaran statistika terbukti memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan literasi statistika dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi rendahnya pemahaman konsep dasar statistika dan motivasi belajar santri di Pondok Pesantren DDI Kanang, Polewali Mandar. Permasalahan ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan fasilitas pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran yang masih monoton, serta lemahnya penguasaan konsep numerik dasar yang menjadi fondasi dalam memahami materi statistika. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar santri serta memperkuat pemahaman konsep dasar statistika melalui kegiatan pendampingan belajar yang terstruktur dan kontekstual. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pendampingan belajar yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama yaitu tahap persiapan yang meliputi identifikasi masalah, penyusunan materi, dan microteaching, tahap pelaksanaan berupa pembelajaran interaktif, diskusi kelompok, latihan soal bertahap, serta penerapan ice breaking untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan tahap evaluasi melalui pemberian tugas terstruktur serta pendampingan lanjutan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar santri yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya partisipasi aktif selama proses pembelajaran dan ketertarikan mengikuti kegiatan belajar tambahan. Selain itu, pemahaman santri terhadap konsep dasar visualisasi data seperti tabel, diagram, dan histogram juga mengalami peningkatan. Implikasi kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan belajar merupakan strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi statistika dan motivasi belajar santri, khususnya pada lingkungan pesantren yang memiliki karakteristik pembelajaran yang khas. Oleh karena itu, program pendampingan belajar direkomendasikan untuk dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan serta diintegrasikan dengan proses pembelajaran formal guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara lebih optimal.

Abstract

An optimal learning environment demands a balance between physical cleanliness and social safety. Based on a needs assessment at MI Hasyim Asy'ari, it was found that some students were not consistently disposing of trash properly and washing their hands with soap, and there was still teasing behavior that could potentially develop into bullying. This community service program aims to improve clean living behavior and prevent bullying through the Knowledge, Skill, Attitude (KSA) approach. The activity was carried out over three days using interactive lectures, discussions, waste sorting and handwashing practices, as well as case study-based psychoeducation and simulations of responses to bullying situations. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of waste classification and correct handwashing procedures, the development of skills in responding assertively to bullying, and the emergence of empathy towards peers. This program contributes to strengthening a physically healthy and socially safe learning environment as a foundation for student character development, promoting sustainable behavioral change and fostering positive school climate improvement. Furthermore, the program encourages collaborative responsibility among students and teachers in maintaining hygiene standards and nurturing respectful, supportive peer interactions within the school community.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jegong Hamlet, Jambangan Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency, have significant local economic potential, particularly in the tofu and tempeh production sector. However, most businesses have not yet integrated into digital platforms such as Google Maps. This condition has resulted in low business visibility and limited market access. This community service program aims to increase the visibility and competitiveness of MSMEs by assisting in registering business locations on Google Maps. The implementation method includes identification and data collection of MSMEs, technical planning, registration and optimization of digital business profiles, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results show that of the 16 MSMEs recorded, 13 MSMEs successfully created Google Maps accounts, while 3 MSMEs had previously registered. Overall, this program has contributed to improving digital literacy, expanding market access, and strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs in Jegong Hamlet.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi menuntut siswa untuk memiliki keterampilan literasi digitalyang kuat sebagai bagian dari kompetensi abad ke-21. Literasi digital tidak hanya berkaitan dengankemampuan berpikir kritis dalam mengolah, mengevaluasi, dan memanfaatkan informasi secara tepat.Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMK Pariwisata Citayam, Bogor, dengan tujuan meningkatkankesadaran dan keterampilan siswa dalam literasi digital sebagai sarana penguatan kemampuan berpikirkritis. Kegiatan ini dirancang melalui pendekatan pelatihan interaktif, diskusi kelompok, serta simulasipenggunaan media digital dalam konteks pembelajaran pariwisata. Dengan demikian, program pengabdianmasyarakat ini menegaskan urgensi literasi digital sebagai fondasi pengembangan kemampuan berpikirkritis di lingkungan sekolah kejuruan. Literasi digital tidak hanya menjadi keterampilan teknis, tetapi jugainstrumen strategis dalam membentuk generasi yang adaptif, kritis, dan siap menghadapi dinamika duniakerja pariwisata yang semakin digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu memahamipentingnya literasi digital dalam menghadapi tantangan informasi yang kompleks, termasuk kemampuanmembedakan informasi valid dan hoaks, serta mengembangkan argumen yang logis dan berbasis data.

Abstract

Kebutuhan pengambilan keputusan yang cepat, tepat, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan pada operasi pelayaran menuntut penguatan digital skills bagi Ahli Nautika, terutama pada aspek literasi data, verifikasi informasi, dan etika komunikasi digital. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkuat kemampuan Ahli Nautika dalam mengambil keputusan berbasis informasi melalui pembelajaran praktik yang terstruktur. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam beberapa pertemuan pada Juli–November 2025 di Kampus I Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Makassar dengan memanfaatkan ruang kelas, TV Android, dan smartphone peserta. Peserta berjumlah 22 Ahli Nautika Tingkat III yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelas. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi persiapan (pengumpulan data dan pengenalan aplikasi), sosialisasi materi inti (literasi data, verifikasi informasi, etika komunikasi digital), demonstrasi dan praktik (akses web dan instalasi aplikasi Android), pendampingan intensif hingga peserta mampu menyusun keputusan berdasarkan data dan fakta lapangan, serta penutup melalui diskusi reflektif dan pengumpulan umpan balik. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui observasi langsung terhadap interaksi peserta, dinamika diskusi, kelancaran teknis, serta kemampuan peserta menganalisis data dan mempresentasikan alasan keputusan. Temuan menunjukkan partisipasi peserta berlangsung aktif, praktik olah data dan verifikasi informasi dapat dijalankan dengan baik, dan komunikasi digital peserta menjadi lebih terarah serta profesional. Kegiatan ini berimplikasi pada penguatan tata kelola operasi pelayaran yang lebih akuntabel melalui kebiasaan kerja berbasis informasi, peningkatan ketertiban dokumentasi, serta penguatan etika komunikasi digital dalam koordinasi lintas pihak.
