Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the economy but are often constrained by limited human resource competencies. This community service activity aims to improve the competency of peyek (traditional cracker) MSME owners in Telang Sari Village through training focused on product innovation, market trend understanding, and flavor variant development. The methods used include interviews, discussions, and participatory training with one business owner as the subject. The results show an increase in participants' understanding and motivation to create product innovations, such as developing new flavor variants (dried shrimp and anchovy), as well as awareness of the importance of adapting products to consumer preferences. This training positively contributes to the development of local peyek businesses and opens up insights for MSME actors to compete in a dynamic market.

Abstract

The Community Service (PKM) activity aims to provide knowledge to medical records staff, especially at the Belimbing Community Health Center, regarding the importance of accurate diagnosis coding to support data accuracy and the validity of health reports. Accurate diagnosis coding is the process of determining standard codes (usually ICD-10) that are accurate and appropriate to the patient's medical condition, which is very important for the quality of medical records, billing (INA-CBGs), health data analysis, and the quality of hospital services. The results of the activity showed that medical records staff were very enthusiastic when given socialization regarding the importance of accurate diagnosis coding. In conclusion, the Rules and Procedures for Diagnosis Coding at the Belimbing Community Health Center in Padang are not fully in accordance with the regulations of the Minister of Health No. 24 of 2022, because the implementation is still carried out by nurses, not medical record staff who have competence in this field. The main factors causing inaccurate coding are the incompatibility of task implementers with qualifications, lack of technical training, the unavailability of special SOPs, and minimal understanding of the use of the e-Puskesmas system and ICD-10

Abstract

Kegiatan kunjungan industri merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran kontekstual yang efektif dalam meningkatkan wawasan dan keterampilan kewirausahaan mahasiswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kunjungan industri ke Bakpia Wong Keraton Yogyakarta dalam memperkuat pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai proses bisnis, manajemen usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM), serta nilainilai kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan pelaku usaha, dan refleksi mahasiswa peserta kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kunjungan industri mampu meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap praktik kewirausahaan nyata, meliputi aspek produksi, pemasaran, pengelolaan keuangan, dan inovasi produk. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan motivasi berwirausaha dan sikap profesional mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, kunjungan industri dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam pendidikan kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

The Merapi Lava Tour is a form of tourism based on the natural potential and history of disasters that has developed on the slopes of Mount Merapi. This tourism not only serves as a tourist attraction but also serves as a source of livelihood for the surrounding community. However, suboptimal management has resulted in less than optimal economic benefits for the community. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to strengthen the management of the Merapi Lava Tour in order to encourage improved local community welfare. The methods used include a participatory approach through field observations, focus group discussions, and tourism management mentoring. The results of the activity indicate an increase in community understanding of sustainable tourism management, strengthening human resource capacity, and raising awareness of the importance of tourism services and collaboration between stakeholders. This activity is expected to contribute to creating professional tourism management that will have a direct impact on community welfare.

Abstract

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have become an increasingly popular form of digital learning, offering flexibility and broad access to educational materials. However, the effectiveness of learning in MOOCs depends not only on content and technology but also on the psychological aspects of participants and the pedagogical approaches used. This report aims to analyze the relationship between psychology and Design Thinking in the MOOC learning experience. Through a descriptive qualitative method, it was found that psychological factors such as motivation, emotion, self-efficacy, and self-regulation play a crucial role in determining participant engagement and success. Meanwhile, the application of Design Thinking stages (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test) can enhance creativity, problem-solving, and critical reflection. The study results indicate that integrating psychological approaches and Design Thinking creates a more holistic, interactive, and meaningful learning experience, encouraging participants to become independent, innovative, and adaptive learners. Recommendations are provided for participants, MOOC organizers, and educational institutions to optimize online learning design by considering psychological aspects and design thinking methods.

Abstract

This mentoring activity for simple financial record-keeping was motivated by the low level of financial literacy and recording habits among MSME actors in Banyu Urip Village, which potentially hinders the sustainability and growth of their businesses. The objective of this Thematic Community Service Program (KKNT) was to enhance the understanding and practical skills of MSME actors in implementing simple bookkeeping. The methods employed included initial observation, coordination with village officials, interviews, and direct mentoring through training and practical sessions on filling out daily cash books. The results of the activity indicated positive improvements in the understanding of basic financial recording concepts, practical skills in recording transactions, and awareness of the importance of separating business and personal finances. MSME actors became more motivated to apply regular record-keeping, which is expected to enhance transparency, cash flow management, and future business planning.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi diri siswa melalui penguatan self-management dan perencanaan karier pada siswa kelas X SMK Diponegoro Batang sebagai upaya menyiapkan generasi muda menuju Generasi Emas 2045. Berdasarkan observasi awal, ditemukan bahwa sebagian siswa masih berada pada fase pencarian jati diri, memiliki keterbatasan dalam mengenali potensi diri, serta belum memiliki perencanaan karier yang jelas. Intervensi dilaksanakan selama dua hari melalui tiga tahapan kegiatan, yaitu pemberian materi Who Am I secara interaktif di dalam kelas untuk meningkatkan kesadaran diri, pelaksanaan art therapy melalui kegiatan menggambar sebagai media refleksi diri, serta pemberian materi persiapan karier yang diikuti dengan penyusunan roadmap karier siswa dari kelas X hingga kelas XII. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran diri, kepercayaan diri, dan kesiapan perencanaan karier siswa. Program ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif dan reflektif efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan potensi diri dan kesiapan karier siswa SMK.

Abstract

Abstract. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to identify and improve the independence and social ethics of vocational high school students living at the Al Ikhwaniyah Orphanage in Jurang Mangu Barat, South Tangerang. The program utilizes a structured coaching approach that includes life skills training, fostering personal responsibility, and strengthening social values ​​such as cooperation, empathy, and discipline. Methods include observation, interviews, and active mentoring in daily activities and training programs. Results indicate an improvement in the children's ability to manage themselves, complete tasks independently, and interact more positively with peers and caregivers. Furthermore, behavioral changes have been observed, including an increased sense of responsibility, social sensitivity, and the ability to work in groups. Overall, this program has proven effective in developing the children's independence and social ethics, while also providing recommendations for developing long-term coaching at the orphanage.

Abstract

The shift in Indonesian consumption patterns towards health, food quality, and environmental sustainability has opened market opportunities for green products such as hydroponic vegetables. This research aims to analyze the implementation of green marketing strategies and their influence on sustainable consumer behavior at Karangan Jaya Hydroponics SME, a hydroponic vegetable producer in Palembang. Using a descriptive qualitative case study method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation from business owners and consumers. The findings indicate that the SME has applied several core principles of green marketing, particularly in terms of product quality (green product), through pesticide-free hydroponic cultivation with controlled water quality. Promotion is conducted primarily via WhatsApp with an educational approach, which helps build consumer trust (green trust). Consumer behavior shows a sustainable purchasing pattern influenced by perceptions of hygiene, health safety, and product freshness. However, constraints include unstable production, limited digital promotion, and the use of non-eco-friendly plastic packaging. This study concludes that while the SME has successfully built trust and implemented basic green marketing, optimization is required in production management, digital promotion, and eco-friendly packaging to enhance marketing effectiveness and support the transition to a fully sustainable business.

Abstract

Abstract. The development of financial technology (fintech) has brought significant changes to the way people manage their finances. Various digital financial services, such as e-wallets, online loans, digital investments, and cashless payment systems, are now increasingly accessible to the wider public. However, this convenience has not been fully matched by an adequate level of digital financial literacy, potentially giving rise to various risks in their use. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve the understanding, awareness, and skills of Triguna 1956 Jakarta Senior High School students in utilizing digital financial services wisely, safely, and responsibly. The activity implementation methods included outreach, interactive training, discussions, and evaluation of participants' understanding. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge of the basic concepts of fintech, their understanding of the benefits and risks of digital finance, and their ability to implement safe financial management practices in the digital era. This activity is expected to support the strengthening of digital financial literacy and inclusion, especially in secondary education settings, on an ongoing basis.
