Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase students' interest in learning through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 20 class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Toma. The data collection techniques used were learning implementation observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and description tests. Next, analysis is carried out on the data that has been obtained. The research results show that applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can increase students' interest in learning. This is proven by an increase in interest in learning from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the percentage obtained was 71% in the "medium" category. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the percentage obtained was 86.5% in the "high" category. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that students' interest in learning mathematics increases by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Toma South Nias for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the problem based learning model. The type of implementation of this research is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this research were all 20 students in class VII-A of SMP Negeri 1 Lolomatua and the object of this research was the students' mathematics learning outcomes. The data collection technique used is in the form of essay test questions and learning implementation observation sheets. Next, analysis is carried out on the data that has been obtained. The research results show that applying the problem based learning model can improve student learning outcomes. This is proven by the increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I the average obtained was 70 with a percentage of complete learning outcomes of 70%. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes for cycle II were an average of 85 with a percentage of complete learning outcomes of 85%. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes improve by implementing the problem based learning model for class VII-A students at SMP Negeri 1 Lolomatua for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether the application of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes at Bhakti Luhur Private Vocational School for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is Classroom Action research which was carried out in two cycles with 8 meetings, with the research subjects being class XII Accounting students at Bhakti Luhur Private Vocational School, totaling 20 students. The instrument is a test consisting of 5 questions. The results of observations on learning outcomes obtained by applying the discovery learning learning model reached 68%, namely. 8 students out of 14 completed their studies. The results of the observation of the second comprehensive learning results reached 76%, namely. 11 of 14 students completed their studies. Based on the results of cycles I and II, it was concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model could improve student learning outcomes at Bhakti Luhur Private Vocational School for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through Problem Based Learning (PBL)for students of VII SMPN 3 Boronadu. This research is classroom action research with several stages of research, namely planning (plan), action (act), observation (observe) and reflection (reflect). This research was conducted at in the acade SMP Kelas VII SMPN 3 Boronadu mic year 2021/2022. The research subjects were class VII students of SMPN 3 Boronadu, totaling 21 students. The instruments used were observation sheets on the implementation of learning, tests of student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique is to calculate the average value of observations by categorizing the level of student learning outcomes. The results showed that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) could improve the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMPN 3 Boronadu The research data obtained from cycle I and cycle II illustrate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes. This is evident from the first cycle the number of students who completed as many as 13 people increased in the second cycle to 16 people. The percentage of class completeness in the first cycle was 61.90%, an increase of 14.28% to 76.19% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 6 Rokan IV Koto in Mathematics subjects. To improve student learning outcomes, researchers applied the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Cooperative Learning Model in Mathematics learning in class VII of SMP Negeri 6 Rokan IV Koto. This research is classroom action research, carried out in two cycles with a total of 23 students, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning action implementation, observation and reflection. From the results of the first cycle of action, 16 students got a score of more than 65 or 69.6% of the 23 students with an average score of 67.3, while 7 students got a score of less than 65 or 30.4% of the first cycle. 23 students. The results of the second cycle of action showed that 21 students got a score of more than 65 or 91.1% of 23 students with an average score of 83.3, while 2 students got a score of less than 65 or 8.9% of 23 students. student. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Cooperative Learning Model can improve the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 6 Rokan IV Koto.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Brand Ambassadors on the Brand Image of Smartphone companies. Brand Ambassador measurement in this research uses four dimensions, namely Visibility, Attraction, Credibility, and Power. Meanwhile, Brand Image uses three dimensions, namely Strength of Brand Association, Advantage of Association, and Uniqueness of Brand Association. The research method used is a survey with simple regression analysis. The sample taken was 100 respondents who were generation Z born in the period 1995-2011 who live in the city of Bandung and know or have heard of smartphone companies and have also heard or seen Brand Ambassadors in advertisements on television and social media held by the company. The sampling technique is Purposive Sampling. The results of data processing from the questionnaire show a good assessment of the Brand Ambassador and also the Brand Image of the Smartphone company. The value of 0.471 from the correlation analysis shows that there is a medium level relationship between the Brand Ambassador and the Brand Image

Abstract

The SMEs Go-Digital Corner is one of the outcomes of collaboration between the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of Sumedang and Oorange & DIGITS UNPAD - the Business Incubator Center of Universitas Padjadjaran. It represents a Pentahelix program collaboration for the implementation of the SMEs Go Digital program in Sumedang. The overall objective of this program is to provide encouragement and stimulus to UMKM actors in Sumedang, particularly in 22 villages affected by Covid-19. The general goal of this initiative is to help businesses in these 22 villages sustain and grow by utilizing online sales and facilitating logistics delivery. This initiative involves the participation of 11 lecturers from various faculties at Universitas Padjadjaran, 110 integrated Community Service Program (KKN) students, SMEs actors, BUMDes executives, and internet service providers. The digital corner activities took place from September 2021 to February 2022. The outcomes of this initiative include the establishment of 22 internet sources that can be utilized by the community in these 22 villages, comprising 14 Indihome packages and 8 Orbit packages. These 22 points can be maximized to create digital corners through various activities to enhance the Village-Owned Enterprises' revenue through optimal management by BUMDes.

Abstract

Businesses that are usually carried out using conventional methods such as trading that occur in the market are increasingly changing and are being replaced by a new lifestyle, namely online trading. One type of online trade that has occurred is trading through digital marketing. In the city of Bandung, there were 189 food and animal equipment shops. Of the 189 stores, 100 of them are MSMEs that already use digital marketing as a means of advertising. The method in this research using a sample paired t-test. Based on the t-count results are -5.063 and the significance value is 0.000 where it shows that the t-test value is below 0.05 which means there is a significant difference in sales before and after the implementation of digital marketing at animal shops in Bandung.

Abstract

Students in the Multimedia Engineering Technology Program (MET) at Telkom University possess the ability to create a diverse range of creative multimedia products, including 2D visual works, 3D modeling, and game applications. However, paradoxically, the documentation of their works often falls short, with their creations sporadically stored and inadequately cataloged. To address this challenge, we introduce Open Resource Binary & Interactive Technology (ORBIT), a digital asset platform designed to streamline the organization and management of multimedia projects generated by MET students. Through ORBIT, MET students can effortlessly upload, share, and document various types of multimedia projects, fostering collaboration among peers and ensuring that innovations in the multimedia field remain accessible and can be further developed by future generations

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve students' mathematical abilities in learning mathematics through training on the use of orange peel media in realistic mathematics learning. Technically, the implementation of the designed training activities is as follows: 1) Planning. At this stage, the team identified problems that occurred by observing the school and interviewing students directly. This aims to find out students' opinions and the obstacles they face while participating in class learning. From the results of these interviews, the team concluded that the topic of discussion that many students had problems with was the concept of building space. 2) Preparation. The team held discussions with teachers at the service site to determine the subjects involved and confirm the prerequisite material. Apart from that, tasks are distributed to teams so that learning can run optimally and be enjoyable. 3) Implementation. The implementation of the service was welcomed by the Principal and Mathematics Teachers. Mathematics teachers are also involved in guiding students using orange peel media when the service is carried out. 4) Evaluation and Reporting. At this stage, the team carries out an evaluation after the service activities are completed and compiles them into a service report for publication.
