Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah menyediakan panduan pengambilan contoh air plankton bagi mahasiswa peserta mata kuliah planktonologi dan peneliti pemula tentang plankton. Metode penyediaan panduan pengambilan dan penanganan contoh air plankton dilakukan melalui studi pustaka. Pustaka yang diperlukan merupakan semua pustaka yang mempunyai kaitan dengan atau seluruh atau sebagian isinya tentang pengambilan dan penanganan contoh air plankton. Berdasarkan studi pustaka diperoleh sumber plankton net berasal dari buatan pabrik dan buatan lokal. Jenis plankton net buatan pabrik terdiri dari Nansen, Norpac dan Kitahara. Pengambilan dan penanganan contoh air plankton dilakukan dengan cara horisontal, miring, vertikal dan penyaringan. Contoh air plankton diambil sebanyak 1 – 25 L tergantung lokasi perairan dan disaring dengan plankton net. Contoh air plankton yang tertampung di bucket plankton net dipindahkan atau dituangkan ke dalam botol sampel. Contoh air plankton di dalam botol sampel agar tidak rusak dan bertahan dalam jangka waktu yang lama maka harus ditambahkan dengan bahan pengawet. Bahan pengawet yang digunakan harus salah satu dari lugol, formalin dan alkohol.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat kali ini berfokus pada peningkatan kinerja UMKM melalui pemanfaatan digital marketing dengan pelatihan penggunaan marketplace dan sosial media. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah Usaha Tahu Pong Pak Sumantri yang terletak di Binjai, Sumatera Utara. Harapan dengan adanya pelatihan pemanfaatan digital marketing ini dapat meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi masayarakat, khususnya pada ketrampilan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam kegiatan marketing secara global. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah peningkasan area pemasaran, pemesanan produk dari konsumen dan peningkatan manajemen pemesanan produk dengan implementasi teknologi informasi. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pembuatan aplikasi marketplace dan sosial media. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan pendampingan, penyuluhan dan pelatihan penggunaan marketplace yang meliputi desain iklan, upload konten iklan di aplikasi marketplace, dan manajemen pemasaran.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the ability of students' mathematical communication skills is not achieved yet maximally. It is known from observation and analysis of the test results of students' mathematical communication skills. There are several factors causing low these capabilities, one of them is the unavailability of teaching materials that optimally facilitates students to grow and develop mathematical communication skills. The purpose of this study was to produce valid mathematical learning tools, practices and effective based on the model-5E learning cycle. This type of research is the development by using models Plomp which consists of three phases, namely the preliminary research, prototyping phase and the assessment phase. In the preliminary phase of research carried out a needs analysis, analysis of learners, curriculum analysis, concept analysis, and analysis of existing teaching materials. In development phase was done designing learning equipment with the learning cycle-5E model, and then conducted a formative evaluation to determine the validity of the three specialist mathematics education, educational technology experts and Indonesian experts. Practicality is known through the implementation of learning outcomes observation sheet, interview and questionnaire responses for students and teachers. The effectiveness of the learning equipment can be obtained from the analysis of the test results of learners’ mathematical communication skill were calculated based on learners’ individual mastery.

Abstract

Electrical installation learning is the process of understanding how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. This includes an understanding of basic electrical principles, safety codes and standards, and best practices in the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment. This study aims to evaluate the effect of using media trainers in practical learning of commercial electrical. Installations on the learning outcomes of electrical engineering education students. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent design. The samples for this research were two groups of students, each consisting of 10 people. One group received learning using trainer media, while the control group received conventional learning. Learning outcome data is collected through a final test which includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The results of data analysis show that the use of media trainers significantly improves student learning outcomes in all aspects measured compared to conventional learning. The implication of these findings is the importance of using technology in supporting practical learning in the context of electrical engineering education.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the Objective-Oriented Project Planning (OOPP) model in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) internship program at PT. Mitra Bangun Kreatifa to enhance project performance. The method used is a participatory approach involving internship students in every stage of project planning. These stages include identifying objectives, determining success indicators, and developing and evaluating work plans. The results show that the implementation of the OOPP model significantly improves the efficiency and effectiveness of project execution and provides a more structured and result-oriented learning experience for internship students. Additionally, active participation of students in the project planning process enhances their managerial skills and practical understanding of project management. These findings indicate that the OOPP model can be an effective framework for internship programs focused on improving project performance and developing student competencies.

Abstract

SMK ICB (Yayasan Insan Cinta Bakti), located at Jl. Pahlawan No.19B, Cihaur Geulis, Kec. Cibeunying Kaler, Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat 40122, faces significant challenges related to English language anxiety among students. An initial survey revealed that 85% of the total 180 students experience difficulties in English subjects. To address this issue, a prototype educational game based on Speech Recognition, developed by a team of lecturers and students from Telkom University, will be tested to help reduce language anxiety among students. This game integrates with the microphone on a laptop/computer, detecting and recording accurate sentences spoken by the students as scores. The utilization of this prototype educational game is expected to serve as an additional supplement for English learning and help reduce language anxiety for SMK ICB students.

Abstract

MSMEs play an important role towards the Golden Indonesia 2045 by utilizing the significant development of digitalization. Digitalization is used by business people to attract the attention of buyers from other regions through existing social media. In Indonesia alone, social media users reach 139 million users, the magnitude of this opportunity must be utilized by business people, especially MSMEs, so that their business develops and becomes a solid foundation for welcoming the Golden Indonesia 2045. This community service aims to help MSMEs better utilize existing technology to facilitate transactions, as well as communicate with customers. The method used is to assist MSMEs in building WhatsApp Business for their business. The results obtained are MSMEs' understanding of WhatsApp Business and better use of the application before the service is carried out, as well as the benefits obtained by MSMEs after using WhatsApp Business.

Abstract

This social contribution aims to (1) foster a sense of caring and a spirit of sharing for students, (2) improve children's welfare: providing gifts of school equipment can help fulfill the basic needs of orphanage children, so that they can learn and grow better, (3) foster mutual care and a sense of empathy among the community, encouraging more people to engage in worthwhile social activities, (4) support education: by providing school equipment, children have the necessary tools to learn effectively. This can help improve their academic performance and motivation to learn, (5) set an example: doing positive social activities can set an example for the younger generation, inspiring them to engage in charitable activities and help others in the future.

Abstract

This coaching aims to increase students' creativity in writing scientific papers and achieve success in participating in scientific writing competitions. Apart from achieving achievements in writing scientific papers, coaching also aims to form students' attitudes of obedience, perseverance and discipline in writing scientific papers. KIR Extracurricular is a forum for students who have an interest in writing scientific papers at MAN 2 Kuantan Singingi. The method used in this mentoring is the service learning method by following three stages, namely: the preparation stage, namely the preparation of KIR Extracurricular learning modules, the service stage, fostering students' creativity in writing, which is held in one meeting on Saturdays, and the reflection stage, namely looking at the results of written work. students who have been created. The target for coaching is students who are members of the KIR Extracurricular consisting of classes X-XII. The results of this assistance show that fostering student creativity through KIR extracurricular activities, it was found that there were changes and increases in student creativity in writing scientific papers at MAN 2 Kuantan Singingi. This coaching runs smoothly by following all stages with the hope of improving student achievement in writing scientific papers.
