Abstract

Journalism pesantren could be an alternative movements and cultural that appears in various media to strengthen civil society besides becoming chan-nel activity to spreading ideas and progam-progam pesantren. So can strengthen that alternative media can emerge as answer of maistream culture domination that a bore which is that long considered to have been dictating criteria of culture, moral, and value in society. Media messages from among santri this not only function as voice of ideology his movement, but also invited by readers to act. Although on the other hand the media always perceived as the implement is powerfuland there are the dominant ideology in it. As was supported by Gramsci that hegemony is an effort power lasting done by the group in power. In this case, institutions media give a function hegemony that is continuous producing a cohesive that ideology. Writing it tries to can parse about pesantren journalism as a alternatives medium is a form of resistance people santri to hegemony of the contents of mass media.

Abstract

In the information era, everything went self the self cheap, fast, right, and accurate. Communication technologies date created what is called ‘public dunia’. The development of communication technologies be inseparable in human life. Plus the development of internet, communication medias being closely in connection with human. Man was easier associated with each other. Social media being evolved to answer the need and lead to change processes of communication between humans. No exception cross-cultural communication also enter new era. Cross Cultual Communication progressed with the advent of the communication technologies. Internet media connecting different persons culture, dif-ferent language, identity, view of life material religion, can do communication easily. The emergence of the internet and cyber communication to be the Cross Cultual medium in communication, so it could not be rejected in Cross Cultual communication application create a new namely intercultural cybercommunity.

Education reform is a demand along with social changes that occurred in indonesia .The crisis multidimensional occurring caused by the loss of the substance of education lasting. Education moral values no longer be important, whereas the erosion of moral and spiritual values will make people more pragmatic and opportunistic. The future of the nation being gamble in education reform now. Joints in the life of nation and State of Indonesia should be reinforced through quality education and competitive by strengthening brain intelligence, values, and spiritual. Human image should be changed to Indonesia which has human personality and by avoiding the dehumanizing system.

Abstract

Since 2500 years ago, socrates said that the purpose of the fundamental of education is to make someone to be good and smart. In the history of Islam, about 1500 years ago Muhammad SAW, the last prophet in the teachings of Islam, also suggests that main mission in educating man is to seek develop the good character. Next, thousands of years after that, the main objective of education formulation remain at the same, namely the formation of good human personality. Character education is a system planting values of character to the schools that includes components knowledge, consciousness or volition, and action to values implementation, both with to respect of Allah SWT, yourself, others, environment, and nationality to be perfect human (insan kamil).

Abstract

Jagad maya (cyberspace) menjadi ruang baru bagi suatu identitas diri masyarakat di era digital.Interaksi sosial manusia di dalam ranah ini telah menghasilkan budaya baru yang disebut budaya siber (cyberculture). Budaya internet, budaya online, budaya siber, dan budaya maya adalah deskripsi diri yang kini melekat dalam arena pergaulan sosial manusia modern. Ruang publik (public sphere) yang bergantung pada koneksi internet ini pada perkembangannya berjalan superkilat dan menjadi arena pertarungan di dalamnya. Ideologi, konsumerisme, kekuasaan, gaya hidup, hingga belanja “bertempur” di dunia maya ini. Budaya yang muncul di dunia maya menjadi arena dominasi para pemilik modal. Dunia internet yang superbebas merupakan jalan siapa saja untuk mengegolkan kepentingan-kepentingannya. Bahkan, karena saking longgarnya, media cyber ini juga menjadi sarana yang efektif untuk melakukan perlawanan terhadap budaya dominan tersebut.

Abstract

Dalam sejarah politik di Indonesia, pesantren dan kyai memiliki peran yang sangat besar dalam menentukan arah dan tujuan bangsa. Selama lebih dari tigapuluh tahun di bawah Orde Baru, peranan pesantren dan kyai sangat dibatasi, namun otonomi daerah membuka kembali pintu bagi pesantren untuk kembali ke panggung politik. Studi ini menguraikan tentang dampak otonomi daerah terhadap pola hubungan kyai dan santri. Dengan menggunakan studi kasus di Kabupaten Jember, kajian ini menemukan adanya perubahan pola hubungan kyai-santri di komunitas pesantren yang ditandai dengan menurunnya kepatuhan dan respek masyarakat santri terhadap kyai dan pesantren. Studi ini menemukan tiga alasan: pertama, keterlibatan kyai dalam money politics; kedua, runtuhnya simbol kyai sebagai penegak moral, dan ketiga menurunnya peranan kyai dalam pembangunan masyarakat di sekitar pesantren.

Abstract

Pesantren have the role and a significant contribution in the development of Islamic civilization in southeast asia .The role of Pesantren seem especially in an effort to form the community of literate (literacy) and cultural literacy. Pesantren also known as the base of resistance against the colonial government. In malaysia, a network many scholars who dominated the early history of Islamic movement more played by the Pesantren alumnus and some alumnus of the middle east who never learn in a Pesantren. In southern thailand, Ponoh has provided a significant contribution to the development of islamic studies in Southeast Asia. Similarly in the philippines, a discussion on Islam and Pesantren is still always coloring the history of Islamic education. One important contribution of Pesantren are developing of Java and the Malay language. To return back Pesantren as the center of Islamic civilization in Southeast Asia, Pesantren necessary to update and modernization in every aspect without abandoning distinctness. Should also think again the importance of building a modern Pesantren in Southeast Asia. The Southeast Asian Pesantren network is expected to rebuild the format and the role of Pesantren, not only deliver Islamic Scholars but also the Government. Pesantren must also unlock dialogue with other cultural in Southeast Asia. Thus, Pesantren will constantly stand ready to carry on negotiations with the spirit of scientific and cultures everywhere, so the Pesantren contribute very significant for the civilization of Islam in Southeast Asia.

Abstract

The issue raised in this paper is about the fenomena of harmony both NU, MD and LDII communities di Awar-Awar Village Asembagus Situbondo Regency. By used ethnography approach founded that harmony constructed in a social manner by NU, MD and LDII communities and elites of Awarawar village in every day life. Social construction con-sists of three moments that is externalization of religious understanding social institution, objectivation through interaction both people by social institution, and internalization is self identification by socialization. In a social manner, because of it pathernalistic character made elites construction influence to people construction. In a social manner, “pendalungan” (Hybrid culture between Java and Madura ethnic) characteristic also give cultural frame to creating harmony. The harmony condition influence all live aspects of people either in a social manner or economy and culture.

Education in terms of its goal never loose from the community who around it. The purpose of convention of education should always be used as reference education policy. When looking at the phenomena of education in indonesia apparently there is a tendency away from its main purpose the potential to grow the protege in order can face his future with brilliant. Macro policy education for instance the goal is still the subordination of the policies political and economic. As a result the pattern of the implementation of education national prevailing often the entry of imposing substance less educate. On the other side are still not precisely an understanding of religious education result in the occurrence of overlap between public education and religious education. This writing aims to encourage to think back a humanizing education. Education supposed to be the instrument of social and spiritual that serves give assurance maintenance man who has faith and knowledge. Ideally education in indonesia able to give insight to humanize man in accordance with his creation tendency as creatures free and cultured.

Abstract

This study examines Muhammadiyah's readiness in education for the challenges of the society 5.0 era. Technology, Information, and Communication Technologies (ICT) are growing with the urgency of society 5.0 in education based on technology. It is significant to the modern education of Muhammadiyah, which has a progressive education spirit. The method used in this study is a literature review of various references to analyze the relevant data. As a result of the study, Muhammadiyah tried to develop a prophetic civilization, and the concepts of khaira ummah and baldah thayyibah as the recognition and expectations of the people and the nation toward Muhammadiyah, Muhammadiyah intellectuals synergized the potential resources in education. They strengthened religious-social movements as a driving force for the struggle by the spirit inherited by KH Ahmad Dahlan. In this spirit, Muhammadiyah intellectuals challenge and construe society 5.0 based on human-centered. Muhammadiyah education in this era tries to improve educational facilities for digital-based learning in Muhammadiyah schools or madrasas; able to improve teacher human resources to innovate in digital-based learning both online and offline; able to apply humanist learning with the main characteristics of respecting the opinions of others, respecting, and communicating correctly.
