Abstract

The social commerce phenomenon has transformed consumer shopping behavior by integrating entertainment and online transactions. TikTok Shop, through its "yellow basket" feature, is at the center of this shoppertainment phenomenon . The context of this research becomes crucial following the enactment of Trade Regulation No. 31/2023, which highlighted data security issues and forced platform restructuring. This event places trust as a vital external factor, complementing internal technological factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust on consumer purchase intention for the TikTok Shop yellow basket feature. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through a questionnaire to active TikTok Shop users in Surabaya City. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the influence of the three independent variables on purchase intention. The theoretical framework of the study adopts a hybrid model that integrates the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with the Trust Theory. The results are expected to prove that the higher the perception of ease of use, usefulness, and trust, the greater the consumer's purchase intention. This research contributes to the study of consumer behavior in the post-regulation era of social commerce and provides practical recommendations for platforms in optimizing functionality and trust-building strategies to drive sales conversions.

Abstract

Given the growing importance of digital competence in education, this paper provides a comparative analysis of DigCompEdu-based digital competence education practices in higher education in Indonesia and China. This study uses a systematic literature review combined with policy document analysis to establish how both countries implement digital competence frameworks for educators. Data sources include indexed journal articles and official documents meeting specific criteria related to higher education, lecturers, and DigCompEdu frameworks. The results show that in Indonesia, DigCompEdu is more widely adopted at research and study program levels, particularly in teacher training institutions, while in China, it functions primarily as a normative framework at policy levels. In both countries, relatively strong competency areas include digital resources usage, communication, collaboration, and security, whereas digital assessment, reflective practice, and learner empowerment remain weak. This study recommends developing standardized instruments and explicitly integrating DigCompEdu areas into higher education curricula.

Abstract

The freemium model has positioned in-app purchases as a primary monetization mechanism in digital games, including Roblox as a user-generated gaming platform. This study examines the effects of game addiction and perceived value on in-app purchase intention among Roblox players in Indonesia. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected through a cross-sectional survey of Roblox players in Indonesia and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that both game addiction and perceived value have positive and significant effects on in-app purchase intention. However, perceived value exerts a stronger influence than game addiction, indicating that players’ purchasing decisions are more strongly driven by evaluations of enjoyment, social recognition, functional performance, and price fairness rather than addictive engagement alone. These findings contribute to the understanding of digital consumer behavior in user-generated gaming environments and provide insights for value-oriented monetization strategies.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of collaboration between content creators and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on store growth in TikTok Shop. In the context of rapidly expanding social commerce, collaboration with creators has become an important strategy for MSMEs to increase product exposure and sales performance. This research aims to analyze how partnerships with creators contribute to the development of MSME stores on TikTok Shop. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from 200 MSME owners who actively sell products through TikTok Shop. The respondents were selected using purposive sampling, focusing on MSMEs that have experience collaborating with creators. The data were analyzed using multiple regression to examine the relationship between creator–MSME collaboration and store growth. The findings indicate that collaboration with creators has a positive and significant effect on store growth. Creator partnerships enhance product visibility, consumer trust, and audience engagement, which in turn contribute to increased sales volume and follower growth of MSME stores. The results suggest that the quality and consistency of creator collaboration play an important role in strengthening the performance of MSMEs in the TikTok Shop ecosystem. This study provides practical insights for MSME owners in optimizing creator partnerships as a strategic tool to improve business growth on social commerce platforms. It also contributes to the literature on digital marketing and social commerce by highlighting the role of collaborative marketing in emerging e-commerce environments.

Abstract

Employee loyalty has become a critical determinant of organizational sustainability, particularly in the service industry, where employee performance directly influences customer satisfaction and organizational competitiveness. Despite its importance, coffee retail businesses continue to experience high employee turnover, absenteeism, and inconsistent work discipline, indicating challenges in maintaining employee loyalty. Previous studies have reported inconsistent findings regarding the relative influence of leadership style and organizational commitment on employee loyalty, while empirical evidence from Indonesia's rapidly growing coffee retail sector remains limited. This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style and organizational commitment on employee loyalty among employees of Tomoro Coffee Bandar Lampung. A quantitative approach was employed using a saturation sampling technique involving 34 employees. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that leadership style has a positive but statistically insignificant effect on employee loyalty, whereas organizational commitment has a significant positive effect. Furthermore, both variables simultaneously influence employee loyalty, with organizational commitment emerging as the dominant predictor. This study contributes to the organizational behavior literature by providing empirical evidence from the Indonesian coffee retail industry, demonstrating that psychological attachment to the organization plays a more decisive role in fostering employee loyalty than leadership style alone. The findings also provide practical implications for managers by highlighting the importance of strengthening organizational commitment through supportive organizational policies, employee development, and recognition programs to improve employee retention and organizational performance.

Abstract

Centralized exchanges (CEX) serve as the most widely adopted cryptocurrency trading platforms in Indonesia. However, research on this topic rarely positions Indonesia as the object of study. Therefore, this study analyzes the development and challenges of CEX through a systematic review supported by bibliometric analysis in order to map future research topics relevant to Indonesia. The literature search was conducted using the Scopus database with the following keywords: ("cryptocurrency" OR "crypto" OR "digital asset" OR "cryptocurrencies") AND ("centralize" OR "centralized exchange" OR "centralized crypto asset exchanges" OR "CEX" OR "trading platform" OR "FTX"). The findings indicate that Indonesia presents contrasting outcomes between its global cryptocurrency adoption rate and the volume of research examining this topic within the country. Consequently, future research directions on this subject should prioritize cross-border collaborative efforts and expand the discourse of centralized exchanges (CEX) within the domains of infrastructure and technology, risk and security, market dynamics, and cryptocurrency trading regulations. Abstract

The rapid growth of TikTok in Indonesia has created intense competition among local fashion brands, yet high engagement does not always translate into sales. This study aims to analyze the influence of trendiness and entertainment in social media marketing on purchase intention, with brand awareness as a mediating variable. Adopting the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory, this research employs a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Amos software and the Sobel test. Data were collected via online questionnaires from 200 Generation Z respondents who are active TikTok users, selected through a purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that trendiness and entertainment have a positive and significant effect on brand awareness. However, trendiness and entertainment have a positive but non-significant effect on purchase intention directly. Brand awareness is proven to have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention and plays a full role in mediating the influence of trendiness and entertainment on purchase intention. The study concludes that trendy and entertaining content on TikTok must build brand awareness first to trigger consumer purchase intention. These findings contribute to S-O-R theory by clarifying the essential role of the 'Organism' in converting social media stimuli into consumer responses in a fast-paced short-video environment.

Abstract

PT Wanro Sukses Persada faces constraints in construction logistics management due to a manual material recording system, which triggers various problems such as stock data inaccuracies, delayed information updates, and discrepancies between administrative records and physical conditions in the field. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a mobile-based material stock management and monitoring application to provide real-time data and digitize the workflow. This research employs a qualitative case study method with a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model approach without the maintenance phase, where the infrastructure is built using Android Studio integrated with Firebase Realtime Database. To validate the functionality of the developed system, this study applies Black-Box Testing, focusing on testing the alignment between the software's input and output. This research produced a mobile application named "Wanro Stock App" that facilitates operational activities among management, warehouse teams, and field supervisors through features such as stock availability notifications and material request and return mechanisms. Based on the functional testing results, the developed application is capable of executing operational scenarios in accordance with the initial design, such as processing synchronous stock updates during transactions, rejecting illogical data inputs, and executing automated approval workflows. This functional alignment confirms that the Wanro Stock App has met the software's functional feasibility for implementation, making it a potential digital solution to replace the manual logistics recording method within the company.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of User Interface, User Experience, and User Trust on Purchase Intention on the Surabaya Buyer e-Peken Application. The research method uses a quantitative approach with data collected through a five-point Likert scale online questionnaire survey, which will be collected from 196 respondents based on the Lameshow formula calculation. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) through SmartPLS software version 4. The results show that User Interface has a positive and significant influence on Purchase Intention with a p-value of 0.001. User Trust also has a positive and significant influence on Purchase Intention with a p-value of 0.00. Conversely, User Experience is not proven to have a significant effect on Purchase Intention with a p-value of 0.218. This indicates that interface quality and user trust are the main determining factors in driving consumer purchasing interest on local government e-commerce platforms, while user experience has not been proven to have a significant direct impact on Purchase Intention on the Surabaya e-Peken Application.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the influence of Customer Behavior and Social Presence on Purchase Intention in TikTok Live Shopping, with Customer Trust as the mediating variable. This research was motivated by the phenomenon of the gap between high user engagement and low purchase conversion in live commerce, given Indonesia’s position as the biggest TikTok user country in the world. Using a quantitative approach grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory, data were collected from 336 undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UNESA, through cluster sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that Customer Behavior and Social Presence have a positive and significant influence on Purchase Intention, directly and through the mediation of Customer Trust. These findings indicate that Customer Trust acts as a significant mediating mechanism linking consumer behavior and social presence to purchase intention in the social commerce ecosystem.
