Abstract

Arabic is a mandatory language that cannot be separated from Islamic boarding schools, which is like two sides of a coin because it is the language of the Islamic religion. It will be easier for students to understand the Qur'an or the books they are studying if they master Arabic. Good learning of Arabic must be accompanied by evaluation so that it is clear what things support and hinder it. Evaluation includes four types of proficiency and skill tests (maharah), namely listening (istima'), speaking (kalam), reading (Qiro'ah), and writing (Kitabah). The research aims to determine the evaluation of Arabic language learning at the Islamic Center Bin Baz Islamic Boarding School (ICBB) Putri Yogyakarta, especially grade 7 Salafiyah Wustho. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach and aims to find out how language is practiced at the Bin Baz Putri Islamic Center Islamic Boarding School. The results of the study showed different levels of proficiency in the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), namely Kitabah proficiency, which showed the highest achievement of 90%, Qiro'ah proficiency (85%), Istima' proficiency (85%), and Kalam proficiency (80%).

Abstract

Equity in education must be realized in its implementation. In Sirambas Village, the distribution of Early Childhood Education (KB) programs remains uneven, and many community members are reluctant to enroll their children in KB, considering it unimportant and costly. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings at KB Syifa Azzahra in Sirambas Village reveal: (1) school management is based on the philosophy "by the people, for the people," ensuring free education; (2) management encompasses planning, organizing, leadership, and supervision; (3) funding is conducted independently; (4) teacher optimization is achieved through a guest teacher program; (5) learning emphasizes a holistic approach covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects; and (6) school promotion strategies leverage socio-cultural approaches. The success of this program is supported by active community participation, which has increased awareness of the importance of early childhood education. These findings underscore the significance of community-based approaches in expanding access, fostering equity, and creating sustainable education models.

Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research was conducted through interviews and observations of the school principal and educators. The results show that fair and competitive compensation, including basic salary, allowances, and supporting facilities, plays an important role in improving the performance of educators. Motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, has proven effective in creating a conducive work environment and encouraging self-development of educators. High job satisfaction, characterized by a balance between workload and compensation as well as harmonious relationships among colleagues, contributes to increased commitment and loyalty of educators. The research concludes that good management of these three aspects can encourage optimal HR development, which ultimately contributes to improving the quality of education in schools. Abstract

Risk management in vocational education plays a vital role in the quality of learning. This study examines the implementation of risk management to enhance the effectiveness of learning at SMKN 4 Bandung through a qualitative approach and in-depth analysis methods. Based on a series of observations and interviews, several fundamental challenges in the teaching and learning process were identified, including the diversity of students' comprehension levels, limited practical facilities, and the need for more adaptive teaching strategies. To address these challenges, the school has developed various strategic initiatives, including the creation of standardized operational guidelines, internal teacher training programs, and the preparation of integrated learning tools. Program implementation is monitored through classroom learning supervision, while success is evaluated using academic assessment instruments. However, some issues persist, such as teacher coordination and time management, which require further refinement. Based on these findings, this study proposes strengthening teacher teamwork, improving time management efficiency, and developing sustainable programs to optimize risk management in vocational learning activities.
